I bought a 2021 Discovery and traded in my previous vehicle with Houston Central in July. My buying experience was excellent, considering I was driving about 4 hours to make the purchase. Prior to making the purchase, I had called several dealerships around Texas looking for specifics on the vehicle I wanted to purchase and Houston Central made it happen. Trevor was honest throughout the whole process, and treated me as highly valued customer. I also spoke to Director Vanessa, who was very professional and up front. I consider myself a car enthusiast and every detail on the vehicle was taken care of.

Great to work with for remote deals. We bought a used SUV. Fernando helped us and he did a great walk around video and showed all the excellent features of the car. We had quite a few options out there but Fernando really sold us on this one. Not only discussing the dealers thorough inspection, cleaning and basically taking care of the little things that make buying a pleasure but also taking time to answer all our questions, going back over questions we had multiple times. Basically I give them a solid 5 stars and would recommend this dealer and Fernando anytime!

I took in my CPO Range Rover for Service at Land Rover Houston Central. The experience was very pleasant from start to finish. Brady Ingram was assigned my request. He was very courteous, prompt, and kept me posted the entire time without interrupting my work. He sent me repairs to approve via texts that were very detailed. He did everything he said he would do. I highly recommend you ask for Brady Ingram.

If you’re looking for service this is not the place. We’ve owned about 10 Range/Land Rovers over the years. We moved to Houston from Chicago. Wonderful experience there. Today my 2019 Sport is dead in the garage. Thought I left the lights on & drained the battery. 1 tow truck later it has to be brought in. It has less than 6,000 miles & got its first service about 2 weeks ago. Houston is ALWAYS on voice mail. 100%. The Service dept. is open on Sat till 4pm per the website. I called & got the “Closed” message at 3:30. They leave whenever they feel like it apparently. I’ve never been asked if I’d like a loaner, they are never on time to finish & rarely give an update. The 2 stars is cos we love the car.

Property stolen from vehicle. Management seemed to not care. Asked them to check cameras. They said they would, no call back. Filed police report against them. Came in to fix a part on the door and check squeaking from breaks. They came back with 19k worth of service maintenance. Got my door fixed, charged 2k. Property stolen was worth $750. Did not care, said they didn’t steal it, pretty much your out of luck. So upset with Land Rover. I sold my car the next day.

I came in to get maintenance done on my 2019 Discovery and I experienced terrible service from beginning to the end. No follow up received from service advisor and upon checkout the cashier was on her personal phone talking to me while talking on the phone simultaneously. Management should focus on improving their customer service. I definitely expected more from Land Rover. Will definitely not visit this location again nor will I refer anyone.

My salesman was Eric and he was very helpful and professional. I am new to the Jaguar brand and he walked me through the features during the test drive and explained what Jaguar and their dealership had to offer. He was very responsive via texts and even drove the car 200 miles to me so that I wouldn’t have to make an additional trip to Houston. I highly recommend working with Eric.

Probably the worst location for service. Every time it’s just a terrible experience. They don’t do the job fully as they take shortcuts. Have to bring it back for the same issue multiple times. I’m really praying the management here changes. Since this is the closest location to me. I’ve taken it to the further location and the experience is so peaceful. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The service advisor was pleasant, knowledgeable and kept me informed of progress. However, Land Rover ownership has a long way to go learning to provide SERVICE. It required two service visits and 15 total days to diagnose, obtain and install needed warranty parts due to the lengthy process of obtaining approval from Land Rover North America to ship and acquire needed parts. That is NOT what I consider good service, but more like being CHEAP! Even when provided a loan car, being without my vehicle for two weeks due to an poor internal process leaves me very disappointed in the overall satisfaction!

Had the absolute pleasure interacting with the employees and management team of this dealership. I was referred by a friend, and now I see why. It’s obvious training is a focus here, as many of the employees knew how to treat us (and others in my observations) in a professional manner. Staff was knowledgeable and proactive in all events during our time there. I couldn’t recommend a dealership with anymore enthusiasm. My family and I purchased a Range Rover from this location and have been extremely satisfied with the entire staff. There is not one bad thing I can say about this dealership. We first met Austin and Anastasia when we first arrived and they were extremely helpful with all of the vehicle information, and were not pushy in any way at all.My family then met Cory C., the Manager, and he is the best at what he does. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs and requests, even after the purchase of the vehicle. This review is for a recent used car purchase. Saw the vehicle online and called dealership. Got some of the information on the car, photos of it, and decide to go look at the car while in Houston. I was helped by Elton Love who was great to work with. Answered all my questions. Made an offer on the car and dealt with Cory Christman who is the pre-owned Director. Some hard nosed negotiating but got the deal worked out. Elton and Cory were very professional and were straight up in their dealings with me. Did exactly what they promised me they would do before I went in to sign the paperwork. The car need a few things done before purchase and they did what they promised in the time they said they would. Negotiating a used car purchase isn’t my idea of fun but dealing with professionals makes the process much more palatable. 5 star experience.

I must say, Trevor Hanes is probably the most smooth and efficient sales person I ever dealt with. He just started with Land Rover, but he carried himself like he’s been there for a long time. My visit was a hot mess. First they asked me to wait in the valet area for the Javier. Its June in Texas. Im sweating. There are cars passing through. Im dodging. After ten minutes, I asked the valet where Javier is, and they said to go inside. As Im entering, Javier is exiting...with a guy who pulled in while I was waiting in the valet area. They promised he is almost finished with that guy and only needs five minutes. Clearly making an appointment was pointless. So I patiently waited for Javier, who never showed back up. When my husband arrived to pick me up, I still had not been helped. Another person checks us in, who says hell verify if there are any other issues to be looked at. They say theyll call and let me know what is going on. I head home. I called for an update after lunch, and the lady takes a message. No one calls me back. I texted the text system they had me sign up for. No response. I called again near closing. No call back. I show up to pick up my car just before closing and its not ready. They cant say what is wrong with the battery, but put in a new one. I wait some more. The next day, the service required light comes on. Clearly you did not check if further service was required. The following day, the screen on the dash does not come on and the radio/speaker system doesnt work. Do I want to take my car back in *here* to deal with all of this mess? Ugh. I emailed asking for someone to discuss this disaster and surprise: No response. I dont expect a one star review to motivate a response, but heres to hoping.

I recently purchased a 2020 Land Rover Discovery HSE and not only do I love my vehicle but my salesman, Dave Thompson, was the best salesman Ive ever dealt with. I went into the dealership knowing what I wanted and he showed me all of the options and dealt with me being picky (lol) and we found my dream car. If he wasnt my salesman I may not have gotten the vehicle. He was never annoying or the typical pushy car salesman. It was the smoothest car purchase Ive ever done and when I need to upgrade and get another Land Rover I will be sure to ask for him again.

I paid CASH on two vehicles from the showroom at a Land Rover dealership in AZ. One of those vehicles being a 2021 Range Rover Velar. I am now relocated in Houston. I have to say buying the vehicle was a quick, pleasant, and easy process. I was assured that if I had any issues or needed any repairs on my vehicles any Land Rover dealership in the U. S. could accommodate me. With that being said, trying to get a new windshield from this dealership has proven to be a nightmare. I have unsuccessfully been trying to get a new windshield for my vehicle for 4 weeks now. I am still unable to get a windshield. I bought the vehicle as a gift for my wife. Seeing my wife drive around town in such a beautiful car having massive damage to her windshield is unacceptable. She has been asked several times by complete strangers What happened to your windshield. Its embarrassing at this point and we would really just like to have it replaced already. The dealership claims to have ordered one, but unfortunately it arrived completely shattered because someone forgot to write FRAGILE on the box. So now its been another 2 weeks since the shattered windshield arrived. I have made several attempts to call and get the status of the new windshield that was supposed to have been ordered weeks ago. However, I cant get anyone to call me back. I have no choice, but to go up to the dealership tomorrow and see what can be done in person. I have to be honest. You would expect something like this at some dishonest used car lot, but not a luxury car dealership like Land Rover. I spent close to $80,000 on this car!! It took less than 90 minutes to close the deal. I would think getting a new windshield wouldnt be so complicated. I will definitely not be buying a vehicle from this dealership. There is absolutely no way I can see myself wiring a good amount of money to a dealership that doesnt value its customers. Even though the vehicle was bought at a different Land Rover dealer, doesnt mean the level of customer service and professionalism should be different from dealer to dealer. Completely UNACCEPTABLE. And I will not be reaching out to management with more information on the matter as the other negative reviews would suggest. You have the info you need. Now it is up to you to find a solution. Based off of other complaints this is not a first. Your service department is lacking severely and costing you money.

Bad experience trying to purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. The salesman didnt know much about the car, nor did he offer to find out. Gave me the run around for 2 days because I wanted to take the car for an independent inspection. Finally when they agreed to let me take it, and I was on the way there, they called and said the vehicle had been sold. Ive been considering purchasing a new Jaguar but it wont be from this dealership.

The sales person to go talk to out there is definitely AJ. From the first time I called the dealer to simply ask questions, he was very polite and kind. He has a no pressure approach to car selling which made my experience delightful. The car I wanted was at another location and he insisted I go see the car and if I like it, buy it at another dealer. It wasn’t that he didn’t care, he simply wanted me to get what I was looking for even if it meant he would not sell it. I don’t like the high presume environment at the other dealer and so I came back to AJ. After a few days, we were finally able to get the car that was meant for us to buy as it checked every box of the features we wanted, including the price. The reason why I am giving this rating is solely based on my experience only. After bringing my vehicle back 3 times for the same issues and being told, your vehicle is ready just to get it home and find out that the problems hasn’t been fixed was very disappointed and frustrating. In addition, they damaged my door and lied twice and said they fixed it, but they did not. The damages they did to my door is still there. It rains in the car as if the door has an opening in it. I don’t know if they removed the door or what. I’m frustrated with the lies and the run around that I experienced. I am very sorry that I purchased this vehicle from Land Rover. I tried to do a follow-up with the service advisor, however I received a message stating that my message couldn’t be delivered. I am seriously considering contacting the corporate office. I hope moving forward that they take their customers serious and not just on the day of purchase. If you damaged someone’s car, fix it. “VERY DISAPPOINTED”

I am like most and dread the whole car buying thing. I had been to 6 different dealers looking for a certain vehicle and had been told by each that the cars I were looking at were in pristine condition. Only to get there and it was the opposite! The whole game thing. So I drove 200 miles to visit Land Rover Houston Central to see a vehicle listed. I had spoke with Bill Roof-Craig. He had said the car was in top condition. He Was RIGHT ON!!!! The car was beautiful! What I liked most was that he never pressured me. They let me go at my own pace and were extremely helpful and polite through the whole process! The whole experience was pleasant and stress free! Which is usually the opposite when buying a vehicle! The finance department was a breeze and they were able to meet my banks interest rate! And they gave me a great deal on my trade-in! So KUDOS to this dealership! I will most definitely be back when its time to trade in! For a high-end luxury vehicle dealership, I did not feel like I received the luxury vehicle service experience. This included waiting 10 mins on the service drive floor for assistance, receiving a loaner vehicle with the check engine light on and lack of follow up from the service advisor on the status of my vehicle.

No problem with my service advisor but the rest of the staffs are rude employees with attitude and very unprofessional. The staff definitely need to go through a courtesy training. Drop off and pick up, you feel like you are bothering them. Might have to get my car from a different dealership next time :(

Doing business with this dealership was a pleasure. The salesman Todd Plantowsky was a gentleman and explained the entire process so I can understand. When my wife and I got nervous about things we were unsure of, Todd took the time to explain everything and calm our nerves.It is good to know that if we have an issue, we can take it back to the dealership or one of the many other dealership in the Sonic network.The dealership gets a grade of A, and Todd Plantowsky gets a grade of A+!

It was a great experience with Bill Roof -Craig. He let me see and experience different cars from Central Houston inventory ! I actually came in for a Jaguar F pace and end up with Range River Velar . I usually don’t like buying cars because of “aggressive sale “ technique , but this one went smooth. Bill got me the car that I loved even though it wasn’t in their inventory , but it was delivered quick and the result- my coworkers jealous and I am in love with my Rover and he smiles at me !!!

He was so courteous and understanding to my high level of anxiety on a Friday afternoon with a major repair issue. He hooked me up with a last minute loaner, took care of getting everything squared away with my warranty and helped me correct a few things I knew needed service. Small leaks, big issues later. I walked away feeling like I had received the best service and spent the least amount out of pocket as possible. I also did not feel swindled or left wondering if they actually did the repairs. I can’t say enough about Land Rover Central. They were so patient and made the entire process incredible easy. Fernando (car sales) is awesome and I highly recommend him! Reese (in finance) is also wonderful! I wish we would have gone to them from the beginning because they treated us extremely well from the moment we contacted them to the moment we drove off the lot (and even checked in with us afterwards!). Anyone we came across at this location was very kind and helpful.

I simply can’t understand why every time I go to JLR Houston Central I’m never greeted with a smile. Everyone is always looking like they’re working at the DMV. When my car was finally ready after a week in service, I paid for an oil change. With MB and BMW, I usually got a detailed list of items checked and their conditions as well as recommended services. Here, I got a receipt, my car cleaned on the outside and mud on the inside because of the construction. Took it to a wash and go place for a detail cleaning on the inside. Looked horrible with how much mud was inside. Attention to detail is non existent.

It took a while to actually get a hold of someone from the service dept. to help (over the phone). Once I did, Erik was very helpful. He confirmed that the check engine issue (O2 sensor) was under warranty and helped me schedule a service appt. I was shuttled home that morning and the received a text w/ a link to the type of service required. Other optional service was included and I could pick and choose which service I wanted to purchase. I selected an oil change and declined everything that was not under warranty. This beats going through a list of stuff with the service tech which always seemed like a high pressure sales pitch. This process was efficient and the repairs and oil change were completed all in one day. Erik was very courteous the entire time. Thanks!

On 1/23/2021 I purchased a vehicle from Land Rover Houston Central. My sales person did a wonder job and I have no complaints there. The issue began with the finance officer Maurice Hogues. He pushed me into purchasing several additional policies/contracts with my vehicle that I did not want or need. He stated multiple times throughout the process that I could cancel any of the contracts at any time. Now 2 months later I find out that some of them can not be cancelled at all and others require the dealership to sign off on them to be cancelled. This was not disclosed by the finance officer or in the paperwork I received. I have reached out to multiple individuals at the dealership to assist with this but can not get anyone to respond. No one answers or returns phone calls. This is a completely deceptive practice and is unlawful. Im also not interested in a response from whoever responds to these complaints by simply saying to call a number that no one answers like all the other responses on here.

I purchased a 2020 Range Rover Sport and had a great experience with the sales department. They were attentive and professional. It was a smooth process from start to finish.The service department can use improvement. My service advisor does not listen and ask the right questions to understand the issue being presented. It will take at least two tries to get an issue resolved. The first time is to fix what they think is wrong. The second time is to resolve the actual issue after having to slow down and listen carefully to what the problem actually is. This last time on the second attempt, my vehicle was with them for two and a half days for a key fob issue. I didn’t receive any communication or update. When I called to check on the vehicle at the end of the day on Friday, my service advisor had left for the day and no one seemed to know where my car was or what was going on with its repairs. It seemed like they just forgot about my car for two and a half days.This location is convenient. The director of the service department is professional and knows what he’s doing. Unfortunately, I am disappointed in this last experience and in addition to similar previous experiences I will be taking my business to another Land Rover dealer for further maintenance and accessory service.

Fantastic sales and service at this dealership! This was my third Land Rover from this dealership. Once again they made it a very smooth process.Anastasia was my sales associate and Cory handled the financing paperwork.The follow-up delivery orientation from Tumi was exceptional as well.The transaction was quick, courteous and actually enjoyable. As of January 2021 the dealership is/was undergoing major renovation of the building - this did not cause any issues.

Bit rocky start. Nearly 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to the suv, and had the mileage and suv model wrong, on the form. Once these items were addressed things went great and I was able to get in and out foe an oil change in less than an hour. Which was important to me due to an unscheduled issue at work

I think scheduling got a bit mixed up because they couldnt find my appointment, but that didnt matter the service advisor never told me they couldnt fit me in, he took my info and looked at my truck & recommend i take advantage of my scratch repair on my rims before it expires, wow i didnt even worry about that before because i had forgot i had that coverage! That was pretty awesome of him to recommend that, anyhow they serviced my truck in the same day, they washed it a little but it was raining that day but i was still greatful because im a softball/baseball mom & i dont have time to be washing my truck all the time, so with that being said my service guy was very nice & helpful he wasnt judgemental one bit i kinda went in there dressed down & in the past have been looked at some type of way, because i didnt fit the money loaded desciption i guess, but i pay alot of mind to that since I use to be a manager at Specs the sales guys would pass all the dressed down people up & help the more sofisticated dressed first but low & behold one day one of the dressed down guys that got past up got help from a new guy & asked the sales guy that he needed his wine cellar to be filled! Wow just wow, so lesson learned needless to say that sales guy had a fabulous xmas that year. Anyhow sorry for the long posting but I did want to add in here that the cash register lady im not sure thats the right label but where i got my keys & paperwork at, she was very kind happy & made me feel very welcome.

I dropped my car off at 8AM on a Monday for a scheduled appointment. I initially dropped my car off at this scheduled time due to the fact that this dealership did not have any loaners and my car is in dire need of service. Low coolant, overheating engine lights were all coming on. I knew this was an extremely pressing matter, I decided to drop off my car during a period when I was going to be out of town. Throughout the week I did not get an update nor did they once call me to advise of estimate, proposal, issues. My trip came to an end 3 days later, no communication from dealership. I called and text finally get a response advising that the car was still undergoing diagnoses, mind you this is 3 days later. I called the gentleman handling my vehicle and he advised that he would have an estimate ready for me late Wednesday afternoon, he also advised no loaner we’re available. I not only was left without a choice but to come and pick up my car without any resolution now my car is overheating and not driving properly. Absolutely zero communication and terrible customer service.

I do not recommend this location. I purchased my car at North in 2019, but because of convenience I’ve used Central for service. In the two years that I’ve had it I have never picked it up with a smile from the Central location. Even with an appointment I waited 8+ hours for service! I also took my car in for a busted speaker a year ago and the speaker is still busted. I don’t know if they are too busy or under staffed, but to be a Land Rover dealer, management of accounts and customers is horrible!I called the dealership back for them to make it right... I made an appointment for a loaner on Monday, received a call on Thursday that my part was on back order.... it was not even for my car!!! I wasted an entire afternoon going to Houston to pick up my vehicle. I left with my car because I could no longer driver that rental! They left oily prints on my seats and the door. I will never go back to this location. I’m so glad for those who’ve had a good experiences, but as for me and the very upset lady outside that day, that is not the story.

We had a great experience buying a pre-owned Range Rover today. Bill and AJ were a perfect team of no-pressure, informative salesmen. The negotiations were pleasant and direct. After we were done with the sale, AJ stayed well after the dealership closed to point out every feature of our newly purchased car. He even took the time to walk me through some of the features of our old 2010 Range Rover. We’d recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used Land Rover.

Called him 4 times and left messages. Still have not heard back from him. Called the sales girl that sold me the car and still no call back. I tried contacting the general manager and the receptionist sent me to an empty voice mail.In addition to all of the above, I still have not received my registration for this vehicle and am currently driving around with expired paper tags. Its been almost 3 months and still no registration and not a single return phone call.I drove 300 miles from Dallas to this dealership and the Range Rover Sport that I purchased, I have no problems with. However, trying to get a simple courtesy return phone is not possible. There are several other dealerships out there that provide much better customer service.I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND this dealership and would never do business with then ever again!Third Update!Finally received my tags from Jaguar Land Rover Houston Central 6 plus months after purchasing my RR Sport.Once again, definitely, do not recommend them……..
