Six stars! The communication was great and service was on-time. He came out right before Thanksgiving to fix my broken refrigerator and already had the correct parts based on questions I answered in an email.Highly recommended and will contact them again if another appliance had problems!

Called on a Thursday afternoon and they were supposed to come Friday between 1 and 4. Tech never showed up and did not call. I called Friday afternoon and they were supposed to come on Saturday between 9 and 12. Never showed up and tech did not call. Called them at 11:30 to find out what is going on. They called back at 12:10 saying that the tech was unable to come due to a family emergency and could come on Monday. I just cancelled the repair and called someone else. I do not recommend using this company.

I called to ask for how much it would be for them to check out my hood, and the lady hung up on me. Not professional, just say you do not do that instead.

Had the defrost thermostat replaced.My tech returned my call promptly, listened to me explain the situation, explained the problem to me and how it could be corrected.He then quoted a price and scheduled an appointment. The Service Representation came out as he stated and my son said he was so meticulous in his work and did not dilly dally. My dryer stopped working .They show up the same day and always answer their phone. I was pleasantly surprised. The dryer needed ordered parts that would take time, and the repair guy promised to call the next day with an estimate before ordering the parts. His diagnosis was correct. He made sure everything was working and connected properly.The tech was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely want to assist me. You just do not encounter this kind of customer service in the world today. He cleaned up after the repair. He was done a day earlier than hed said.I wish all repair companies were like this. I got the superb customer service and the quality of their work. I was pleased with the service and the price. I will definitely call this company again for any appliance issue.

A couple of months ago my teenager somehow managed to damage the rubber seal on the inside of the door of our GE Profile Refrigerator. I will not recount the story they told me because it was too ridiculous to relate and I am pretty sure that the whole story was an elaborate fabrication. So getting beyond whose fault it was and what stupid thing they were up to when it happened, I called My Appliance Repair Houston, they are my go-to company for this kind of thing. We have been using them for all of our appliance repair needs for years both at home and at our restaurant. As usual they had somebody out that week. They sent out Victor. He is a nice guy. We have dealt with him a couple of times before. He brought the parts with him, and had the seal fixed in under an hour. The price was reasonable, and thanks to the good people at My Appliance Repair Houston the whole experience was very painless. This is a great company, and great service companies are hard to find. If you have a broken appliance in the Houston area you should give them a call.

Called Appliance Repair, after reading some of the positive reviews, to look at my refrigerator that was not cooling. The technician came out and looked at my refrigerator and told me it needed freon and a switch on the compressor needed replaced He said he didnt have the part to fix it, so he came back the next day. He came and put freon in and supposedly changed the switch. Charging me $300 to fix this issue. After I got home that say from work the refrigerator was making this unusual noise so I texted the technician and asked if he could come out and look at what is making that noise. We scheduled a time for him to come back out the next day but he never showed up or has tried to contact me in any way and its been a week. Terrible customer service.

CAUTION! DO NOT use this company. I was unaware until after the service that this company uses 3rd party Contractors to service their customers. This contractor did not accept a check made out to My Appliance, only to a place called Work By Cody. I had called for a repair of my leaking washer only.He put in a new part but also took apart my dryer which had no problem. He left my dryer Vent hose disconnected and 11 days later, the washer leaked with the new part and flooded my laundry room. He misdiagnosed my washer problem and refused to come back to repair. I called the manager of My Appliance Repair to complain . He hung up in my face. DO NOT use this company unless you are willing to deal with a 3rd party that the owner then isolates himself from when a problem arises.

Took one step in my house and saw the drawers were out of the fridge (obviously since it needed to be cleaned since it wasnt cooling) saw the ice maker out. Said he couldnt fix it and walked out. Dont take your fridge apart to clean it otherwise they wont work on it.

The first technician I gave my GE Hotpoint refrigerator couldnt repair it after several trials, so I decided to let it be. I came in contact with My Appliance Repair Houston through a friend and I am so happy I met them. I called them and gave them my location.They sent their technician Steven to my house to make the repair. We called this company in the middle of the week to see if they could come fix the dryer. It was very convenient that they were able to show up on a Saturday. Sergio showed up right on time and he was quick to diagnose the issue. He was very honest with me and helped me to determine the core problem was with the electricity. I appreciated his work and the fact that he was honest. He even said, its better to buy a new dryer than try to replace this one. I would hire these folks again to come out and help me with any appliance.

I booked an appointment on line. I then called to confirm. I waited all day for someone to call and come by to repair my ice maker. I called at the end of my 4 hour wait time to find out when my repair man would arrive. No one called me back. After 40 minutes of waiting for just a returned phone call, I canceled my appointment and will never use this service again.

John and Henry were fast and came in a jiffy to repair my refrigerator again. I just bought this Sub-Zero refrigerator and it has been a huge mistake. It was way too expensive to begin with and I did not even like the look of it. The first repairman we used could not fix it but John has been able to get it working time after time. He always comes the same day and never charges a lot. Hes one of the few people that actually knows what he is doing.

Technician came in about 1 hour late. He was on the phone with someone telling him what to do. He “reset” the fridge and said that would fix it. After 4 hours the fridge was still not cooling, and the company literally stopped taking my calls.

Where to start.... I needed my gas dryer and gas stove repaired. Both were not heating.the site said same day repair. They called me and had to move my appointment to the next day causing me to miss a day of work. A small part needed to be replaced in the dryer. HE CHARGED ME $320! Next on to the stove. He opened it and turned it on. Looked inside and said that he needed to replace the same kind of part in the stove. This one will be cheaper, only 220. What!?! I declined and told the guy I would buy a new one. He started laughing at me and basically told me that was stupid and I didnt need a new one. Ill bring the price down to $180. If you dont do it youre just wasting money since you already have to pay $65 for me doing the diagnostic. I told him that the site said that the estimates were free and he said they are, but I already did the diagnostic on the oven. Meaning....he turned it on for $65. Do not use this company!

The company no call no showed, took apart my dryer, told me they didnt have the part and needed to return the next day. Management never called back on the second day to address my compaint and when I called back on day three there was still no management available. I told them to call their tech and stop work until someone could call me who could discuss price. They did not call their tech, they finished their work and left and called me later to tell me Id already been given a great price. I paid 200 dollars and took off of work for 3 half days in order put a 50 dollar part in a 500 dollar dryer.

My dishwasher has always left a soapy residue and I finally decided once and for all to take over it . The service techs from this company had to test the dishwasher a number of times before they got to the botttom of it. Its 2 week later and this time the repair has held. They said something bout the water draining properly which makes sense and is gross.

This is a scam. Do not use came out and charged $65.00 service fee and did not have the part to repair. Then called back and gave a quote of over $300.00 to replace a $49.99 gasket that is on the outside of the washing machine! Called Supervisor and never received a call back.

I had an appointment from 4-7pm. No one ever called and no one showed up. I called the office multiple times and was promised that they would “call me back when they speak to their technician”. They never called back. I sat around waiting for 3 hours. Stay away from this company!!!

OMG I am so thankful for Alek and Juan! They fixed my washer in like less than an hour and right when the flooding was getting bad (yes it was flooding). They also helped me clean up and took great care to see that everything was put back in place just as they found it. True gentlemen.

I cannot say thank you enough. Maybe this review will help? But my oven went out on me just before my moms birthday party. We prepared food for hours and couldnt get the oven to work. It seemed dangerous and I called this repair company. Their techs are true professionals. John and his assistant arrived earlier than expected and got us on our way back to baking right on time.

Please be aware of this company..they are not professional at all. This is not a company that will take ownership of the sub contractors they refer...I called this company to have my Samsung washer fixed. And they send a tech out.. he charged me 252.17 and did nothing the problem with my washer was a error code UE and it would restart mid cycle..he told me not to put too much clothes to put very little and that was it that was the solution. I tried washing and the same thing happened I called the company and they said they would send tech out again..he came back and still did nothing.the point is this I have been trying to get a refund for paying for the nothing they did and they have been giving me the run around for 4 weeks. Now they are saying that they are not responsible because they sub contracted the job to someone else how was I supposed to know this I called this company not someone else..and now they are saying that if the invoice doesnt say their company name they dont have to pay me anything..also now because I am calling for my refund they are going to put a restraining order on me...not professional at all...please be aware I dont wish this on anyone.

I first made an appointment online. I did get a call back to confirm my information. My appointment was from 1-4 and they were supposed to call me 30 mins before arrival. Well at 3:30 I called and a lady answered the phone took my information and said she was going to check on the driver and call me back in 2 mins. I wish I could give this company 0 stars! I have Samsung refrigerator that has dent. I called to inquire and about repairing the door or even replacing the door. I called 3 times, twice someone answered, told me to hold on and hung up on me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were having technical difficulties. Once I finally spoke with someone he told me that I would have to replace my door and that he would send someone for an estimate....estimate? For what if it has to be completely replaced? I asked the cost of replacing one of the doors and I placed on hold/hung up on again. I called back for the 4th time, he answered with I am very busy youre going to have to hold on, then I was actually placed on hold. (The hold button does work!) After waiting 5mins he takes me off hold and says I dont even trouble with those types of problems find someone else and hung up on me again. They are complete trash and need to work ok customer service. I understand that they may not have been able to resolve my challenge but should I ever need any other appliance repairs I will NOT call them.

Horible service. Came home early from work for the appliance appointment to find out a few hrs later that he wasnt coming until the next day. The next morning the technician called for directions and was extremely rude. Because of his attitude I canceled and called a different co. Terrible experience.

Very unprofessional made an appointment Saturday 3/25/17 for Monday 3/27/17 4pm-7pm the technician never showed up. I called twice spoke to two different people who both claimed they would call the technician and call me back. Never received a call back it is now 10:15. They claim to be a 24 hour company but really arent. Poor customer service.
