This review is based on my recent experience dealing with the staff, in particular with Iby and Aryn from the leasing office. I’m grateful for their assistance and for going the extra mile to help.The property is a good value and the location -for my current needs- is extraordinary.As all properties, it faces constant challenges (safety, maintenance, etc), so you may need to recalibrate your expectations.I hope that management (local and corporate) may address those issues in a timely manner, to avoid the decline of the building(On a lighter note, the location of the vending machines and the delivery lockers in the lobby area is such a monumental eyesore, IMHO the benefit does not outweigh the cost. There are so many alternative locations in the building)

About a week ago I was able to tour Arum with one of the leasing agents named . He was very helpful and kind. He helped also assisted me through my application process. Overall I was very pleased with the customer service and staff. that alone made me excited about potentially living at Arum.

I had a tour of this property and the staff was very respectful and I felt appreciated. My concerns were met with the upmost respect. The office and the property was well maintained. I wont have a problem moving onto the property because I felt like family when I was with the staff members

I walked in for a tour for A two bedroom and i just want to say this place is beautiful! Everything looks new , great location and amazing staff! Iby showed me the tour or the building and a little background of the area since Im new to HT . He really was extremely helpful and knowledgeable/kind. This will be my new apt when I move to HT in August!

Took two days to finally get these people on the phone. They gave me a call back and because I asked for rental rates for two floorplans the leasing agent got exasperated and hung up on me. I assume behavior like this, when they are trying to make a sale, is telling. This certainly is reflective of how they would behave to actual tenants if they are this unhelpful to prospective tenants.

I walked in and was greeted kindly by Iby who was my leasing agent, I told him what I was looking for and he delivered! Toured the property, loved it. Toured the gym, DEFINITELY loved it. I got started on my application the same day & now I’m just moving in & I can’t wait to decorate my new home. All thanks to Mr. Iby Glynn

I am not a resident at Arium but my review is based on my experience as an applicant. I applied online and paid a fee for an apartment that was available for immediate move-in. Four days passed and absolutely no one followed up with me regarding my application. I called the office, no one answered. I finally decided to go in person to see what is going on and was told I didnt pass a 3 questions identity verification questionnaire at first. My identity should not be verified based on 3 questions about older email addresses and numbers. I complained of course and they allowed me to retake the questionnaire which apparently I passed the second time around. Then I was told my application was denied anways because of my credit. I understand each apartment has their requirements but they do not respect people time nor money! It doesnt cost anything to follow up with applicants quickly especially if they apply for immediate move-in. Poor customer service. 2 stars since the floor plans seemed nice online. I was not offered a tour to see the apartment in person when I went to the office.

I had a wonderful experience touring these beautiful apartments. I was warmly greeted by Iby, who gave me an outstanding tour and patiently answered each and every question I had. Iby was very professional and a phenomenal host ! :)

I worked with Iby for my expedited move in schedule. Called on Thursday for a look and immediately signed up for application. By Monday I was moving in.Iby went completely out of his way while still providing excellent Customer Service level really high. This place is beautiful, I am moving from Missouri to Texas beginning of October and was so worried about the transition. This place is 5 mins from my new job , so I applied online august 8th for an apartment that is available for Move in mid September, decided to fly out yesterday to see it in person and had such a great experience ! The guy Iby in the office made me feel so welcomed , he showed me the two floor plans I was interested in and they were beautiful. He is also not a Huston native so he was able to help me understand some of the challenges and joys faced when moving . I feel good about my transition , and am super excited to make Atrium my home my home soon !!

I just moved into this community and it has been a pleasant experience overall. Shelby was an amazing help to my entire process. She always responded quickly and made me feel comfortable with her warm smile and hospitality. I am happy to call this place home :-)

These ppl are UNPROFESSIONAL as it gets ! I applied and was told everything went through and was approved. The day of my move I packed a u haul and drive 3 HOURS just to be told the manager denied my application!!! When I asked why they said they couldn’t give me a reason?????? I have never in my life dealt with a more unprofessional apartment complex. They are rude and they don’t even call or give you a heads up about anything going on. Their are plenty of better apartments in the area. Beware of this place the management is a nightmare

I love there 24 hour gym and lounge. who needs to go out, living in this life of luxury paradise u got everything u need in these place. we made the best choice to live here and I thank Ms. Aryn Waddle for making us feel at home from the day we walked in.

I just moved into the Arium and iby my leasing agent helped me ! I moved from Atlanta and I was so nervous and frustrated about moving but he was able to FaceTime me my unit and make sure my move was super smooth ! Excited for the future here in Houston and at the Arium

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse here. Long story short, the contractors that were hired to repair the apartment after the winter storm in February (repairs are still being done in June) stole jewelry from apartment. They denied it, although they are the only individuals with access to my apartment other than myself. Of course there is “nothing” ARIUM can do other than accept rent. Moving here was the WORST mistake. Please take heed to the negative reviews. I hope they don’t respond to this review with false helpful information. It isn’t needed. Leaving in July and NEVER returning or recommending.

I called to inquire about a property and spoke with Shelby. She is beyond professional and resourceful. She is the reason I would move here to be sort of a classy yet helpful community. I just moved in a few weeks ago and I love my new home! The apartment itself is perfect and cozy! Lots of sunlight from the huge windows! Location is perfect, access to all major freeways was important for my job. The staff was very professional and helped with the entire process, even walking me through how to set up my package deliveries! I am looking forward to the beautiful pool in the summer! If you want affordable, upgraded and convenient place to live in the city, this is definitely the place to be!

Since the pandemic the assistant manager has been wonderful. She has been supportive and understanding. I’ve been late and she has been there for me. She even has came to check up on me and my family! She has been great and WONDERFUL!! I want to let ARIUM THAT KAREN IS A GREAT EMPLOYEE! I’ve never had an agent come check on me and wish me and family a happy holiday!!! Thank you so much Karen for all your love and support.

I visited this property during my apartment search and had a wonderful experience with Shelby. She had amazing customer service, with a great attitude. She also was very knowledgeable and helpful! Though I didn’t decide to go with this property, I definitely will consider when my next lease is up! I am also a licensed realtor, and will definitely be sending clients to her. I would definitely recommend visiting this community, and make sure you ask for Shelby!

Me and my family lived in this apartment complex since 2019 and we really dont have any complaints. My family loves it here! Karen in the office has been amazing! She has always looked out for my family and myself. To be honest, we are still here because of Karen, she is just a wonderful help to us. I am not familiar with the new office staff but they also have been helpful. I love living here and calling this place our home!

So happy with the apartment my daughter moved into! This is her 1st apartment and the manager Erin really put my mind at ease. My baby has been there for a few months and the manager has been a blessing by always getting maintenance to her apartment quickly. I am planning to recommend this place to a friend I have moving from out of town. Thank you to Erin and all the people working in the office and maintenance.

If you are looking for a luxury apartment to lease, DO NOT stay here. While the pictures online are pretty, in reality this place is not PRETTY. I stayed here for 2 years and every year was miserable - vehicle vandalized in April 2020, apartment walkway vandalized on my birthday in July 2020, overcharged rental fees for 3-6 months (took the 2nd management team to resolve), not very timely with response to maintenance request and the front office dont also follow through with verbal commitments. Theres also the dead rodents (i.e. water bugs/roaches/spiders) and dog feces throughout the common walk ways internally and externally of the building.PSA: your vehicle will never be safe. I suffered $3500 in damages from the multi car break-ins and in March 2021 someone sideswiped my SUV. There are no perimeter cameras nor consistent security on duty so good luck with police reports OR getting the front office to care!Front office is very timely with threatening emails related to trash bins and rental collection but not so timely or considerate when its time to communicate abrupt changes (i.e. loss of power for city work) or address building/grounds issues. I never got my apartment walls touched up or carpet cleaned after the first year; COVID was the popular answer to everythingPlease save all emails and correspondences; also follow each verbal conversation up with an email. I was never late with rental payments and asked for 1 favor if possible and what do you know - they didnt get my email.Very unpleasant experience but you live and learn!

I had a terrible experience at this complex. The manager, Aaron or whatever her name was is very unprofessional. First of, learn how to speak to people before you manage a property. Spoke to me like she had an attitude and in a disrespectful way, when all I asked was a question. Second, fix your system with the packages, it is so unorganized and I get my package stolen so often, I had to change my delivery address to my friends house! The units look nice but the property it self is so trashy! Dog poop and roaches are all over the hallways and doors, when I called about this concern all I was told was Its being handled and still no improvement. Please fix your staff, ESPECIALLY YOUR MANAGER, its sad.

Karen in the leasing office is so nice and helpful! I have been living here for about a year, and if I have any questions or needs, she is super responsive and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend touring the community, and ask for Karen! Also, the location is PERFECT. You’re literally close to everything, while not being directly on the main road.

Update 7 months in: Management is nearly impossible to get a hold of. The office still remains closed due to Covid, so the only way to get in touch with them is to call in. The issue is that calls in my experience are never answered. I count can on one hand how many times Ive actually gotten someone to speak to me. The voice mail system allows you to leave a message for the team, but those go unheeded as well. Communication seems to be an issue here at this apartment complex as stuff opens, or closes, without any notice. Im still unclear seven months in whether the pool is actually open or not. There is also a huge issue with trash. Bags are left out in the hall without containers and they leak all over the floor meaning youre tracking trash juice inside your apartment! Trash and big items such as sofas and dog kennels are routinely left near the trash chute by residents without properly being disposed of. Management has threatened fines for offending residents, but judging by how little this issue has changed, its safe to assume it is not being enforced.I think it important to say though, apparently they recently got a new Manager of the property and I have seen a noticeable trend in the right direction, but things can definitely be better, and I hope they do.____________________________________________________________________Original Review: We just recently moved in to this apartment complex and we love it! The leasing agent, Randy, was absolutely phenomenal. He was very helpful and understanding in helping us with anything we need in our apartment and Karen from management is very nice as well! I had an amazing experience with my agent, Shelby. She was very responsive, professional, and helped me with all of my needs. Moving from out of town is not easy but she made sure that my apartment was ready to go when I got to Houston. I love the apartment layout. The area is very quiet. I highly recommend this complex as well as SHELBY as an agent. Shes amazing.

My family and I came here to view an apartment. Karen helped us and we are so satisfied with how well she treated us. She was very informative about the apartment complex amenities and surroundings. Would have probably given the apartment complex a higher rating around a 3 or so, were it not for property management, Karen and Aryn. The apartments themselves are generally a good value when it comes to square footage, apartment finishes, location etc. for the price. Some downsides included trash always being backed up at the complex, the gates to get in being broken or not working periodically, water going out quite frequently, and being able to hear my neighbors constantly due to thin walls. With that being said, we initially had a great experience with our leasing consultant Ashley when we moved in. Any experience we had with Karen (the assistant general manager) has always been negative - she has been rude multiple times without reason, Especially over the phone and does not have great customer service. Aryn, who at some point recently started working as the property manager, had an unnecessary attitude upon moving out and made us, as paying tenants, feel like we were an inconvenience. Until this place gets a more professional management team with better customer service I would look elsewhere.

I’ve been looking for an apartment for quite sometime. The staff is extreme professional and knowledgeable and mostly friendly. Shelby greeted me with a smile and attended to me immediately. Arryn the manager was friendly and inviting and Eby was interactive and had such a positive, helpful attitude. We were able to sort out the lease quickly ensuring a smooth and quick move in. Most grateful for the Shelby in staying on top of next steps to ensure we could complete the process quickly but we couldn’t have done it without Arryn’s attentiveness to ensure the steps were signed off snd processed accordingly. Most grateful to the entire team in making this happen. Once moved in, they were also very responsive to maintenance requests, dryer not drying. This was resolved the very next day. Super grateful. I am Very enthused about the way the complex is being managed. Thanks team!!

I came to tour with Shelby and she was very pleasant and inviting. She showed me the community and gave me all the information I needed. She has a great personality and feels like I would right at home and well taken care of here . This was a great out come thanks to Shelby for doing such a amazing job . I love living here!!! It is quiet and clean!!! If you have any maintenance issues they are on top of it to make the issue better. The Manger Aryn Waddle in the office is very friendly. Aryn is very helpful and goes above and beyond to help you in any way!!! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!!!

This community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Everything was so beautiful that I felt like I was already at home.The office staff Ms.Shelby was extremely accommodating and friendly also. It could not be better located and was amidst a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation and schools. It offered amenities that most communities did not. I loved the tour she took me on!

I love living in ARIUM! Honestly, whats not to love? I lived here for a year and six months and I could continue to live here forever! The maintenance staff is always on time with my requests (I put in a maintenance request at 10am and they knocked on my door to fix it a 1pm the same day). The Manager and staff is so friendly and they make sure that the clubhouse/pool is in tip top shape. Its also in a great location super close to EVERYTHING!I live it!!!!!!

I have lived here for two years and just resigned another lease. This property is very beautiful and active but always quiet and safe and relaxing. Repairs are made quickly by their staff. Parking is easy and security gates work regularly. The property has been remodeled in the last few years from prior ownership which means new workout equipment and outdoor furniture at the pool and newly redone party room and business center. The leasing office is run very well by Ashley and Randy and the managers. They are very responsive to all requests. The interior of the apartments are beautiful and they have great prices for their central location. Great place to relocate! You will be happy at ARIUM uptown West!

My wife and I moved in about 7 months ago and have no complaints. We worked with Karen and she made this move so easy for us. Very attentive and caring when we had questions or concerns. She has even waived late fees or let me make payments when we needed to during hard times. Very happy here!

One of the most complicated mail delivery systems I’ve seen an apartment complex have. It’s about 50/50 i get Deliveries. Filthy most if the time.Seriously stay away. Just as good if not better apts for better price just across westheimer

Definitely a subpar experience. From the neighbors above me making noise all day with seemingly no correction, to office staff having different answers for any question that is asked, to packages being lost aka STOLEN repeatedly, I can’t wait to leave this place. The mail delivery system is despicable. Lately , about half of my packages are lost or stolen no matter what delivery method is used (usps, fedex, ups, Amazon). Overall, horrible.

My bff has reside in those apts for some years and has noticed how bad those apts have gone. Yet, not only she has noticed it so have I. Not sure if those apts have become DESPERATE that they have lower their standards to just allowing anyone to move in or idk. But unfortunately the MAIN issues of those apts is the people that reside there and the lack of security. People are petty, messy and dirty and all sorts of things get stolen from doormats to car tires. Unfortunately the office mgmt is not the most cooperative one and refuses to provide the best security. Wait No! Refuses to provide security. In short words your money is better in another apartment complex with better people and DEFINITELY with security. Please stay away from those apts if you dont want for your vehicle to end up like this unfortunate one. *Incident happened last night inside the complex.

I am happy with the professionalism and courtesy that Karen delivered to me. I had an unforeseen issue that I was stressing about and Karen relieved me of all worries. This is my first apartment experience and I am pleased. Some tenants can make your experience a little uneasy thats to be expected. I have nothing negative to report about the office and how they run the property. I love the location the amenities and the activities they set up for the tenants to interact with each other. Most of all, I can not stress the importance that Karen delivered exceptional service and I thank her for that.

I was just seeking information on the places around town and stopped in. The person I spoke to was Shelby and she gave me great information about the property and was very thorough. She is definitely a change from other ppl in neighboring facilities. She was a dynamic person, energetic, and very knowledgeable. I wish someone like her could be everywhere. I have had a great experience since I live here. Aryn Waddle and the staff have been very helpful since we moved in.I love the 24 hour gym!! It’s so convenient especially during these times.

This place have a pest problem in multiple apartments. We’ve had small baby roaches since the 1st day we moved in and it’s only gotten worse. We’ve complained over and over to the front desk and all they do is call pest control. I’ve talked to at least 3 other people and their having the same issues so who knows how many more others are as well. We literally kill 2-3 roaches a day. And don’t get my started on the luxer lockers!!!! This is where we receive packages like Amazon, ups, and fed ex. They always seem to put things in locker #67 which EVERYONE always have a hard time opening. If your packet gets delivered on the weekend and you can’t get it out you have to wait all the way till that Monday for the leasing office to be open and they can get it out......what a pain ughhhh. I’ve also complained multiple times about this. Nothing has been done. They should think about getting new ones. Overall these apartments are a 2. DO NOT MOVE HERE especially to apartment 3062!!!! Worst ever

I love living here. Karen is the best. She is attentive, communicative, & responsive. She does her very best to help people no matter how complicated tenants can be. For that i appreciate her. This apartment is awesome. I love my space. The office is professional and friendly. I have no complaints. Ashley is also the best, she has assisted me the 2 years I’ve lived here on several occasions. Each time with perfection.

This apt is obviously unsafe for your car, My tires were stolen from my vehicle at this apartment complex, and my neighbor was told me that he got this situation happen twice while he is live in here. I’ve seen a lot suspicious vehicle waiting outside of the garage and trying to get in. Terrible security, terrible management team. Worst decision to live in here I’ve ever made😡

I have been having such a hard time finding a good home for my daughter & I. I had came in & sat with Shelby! She is AMAZING & reassured me that my daughter & I would be comfortable here. She is very well kept & professional. Thank you Shelby for everything I will be seeing you soon!

A year ago I just moved in and am very pleased with the entire process. Karen has been very helpful and had everything ready for me for my move in at the time, making my move a breeze. I enjoy living here and I definitely recommend.

Currently I’ve been living here 8 months and its not a bad spot to live in , just needs some fixes. The leasing office is actually very nice and has never been rude to me. Ashley, Karen & Randy were all very helpful with my move and have also been an assistance during my stay. The maintenance request are normally very quick at getting completed. However, the hallways are very dirty most of the time, I think I’ve only seen them mop it 2 times which is concerning especially with COVID. The communication isn’t always clear, it is hard to reach someone on the phone in the leasing office, I mean they are nice when they answer but getting them to answer is a force. The parking spots are very tight so you may or may not get towed if you double park..... depending on how they feel. I also think that sometimes rules are enforced based on bias and not by policy.If it’s a rule it should be enforced at all times, no exceptions. But overall I’m not rushing to leave this place. It’s not that bad just needs some minor work.

We recently moved to the community and Karen has been very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Me and my husband have been going through a very tough time currently and Karen has been able to assist in all she can! We are very happy with our new home and the community!

Karen, the assistant manager, has also been excellent, helping us work out any kinks regarding maintenance and billing concerns. All in all, the staff is kind and accommodating, and quite responsive. This place is an awesomely wonderful place to live. Ashley Johnson is the most professional young lady I’ve ever met. She displays character, integrity, and honesty. She gets things done in a very professional manner that I’ve experienced ever in the leasing industry. Honestly, she deserves a raise as well as an advancement in her career. She’s the bomb!!!! I have enjoyed my stay at Arium Uptown West the past 2 years I’ve been a resident. Office staff and management have always been friendly and helpful, especially during the ongoing pandemic. Karen, Ashly, and the rest of the team have been more than accommodating.Only issues I’ve really ever had has been the back up on trash and the city unexpectedly cutting off water multiple times which was out of your control.

Absolutely love these apartments. Randy is amazing, always helpful. He knows everyone by name. Very hardworking and makes you feel welcomed. He helped us with the transfer and made the whole process very smooth and easy. Will definitely recommend.

Job relocating in April. When the type of apartment I like is avail I will be leasing. Real nice people work here. Made a big difference compare to other places I visited when in town.

I came with my boyfriend to look for an apartment. The leasing who helped us was very kind, professional and was able to explain the procedure on how to apply since this will be the first time applying for the both us. She took us around and showed us a very nice apartment that I fell in love with. I love the property and most definitely recommend it, specially if Katherin helps you, she makes thing seem so much easy, and she is very friendly.

Karen is AMAZING! She’s in constant communication with her residents about the community and continues to make positive changes for us despite the hardships of the pandemic, including increased security. Thanks for being awesome!

I am really proud of my apt. The gym, party room, and computer room are always clean and available 24hrs . I want to give a BIG shout out to Ashly for helping me on my move in and each time I come in. She goes above and beyond and keeps a huge smile on her face. I have dealt with Randy too and hes super fun. Always has me laughing. My neighbors are quiet and the garage has security which helps me feel safe :) Thank you Arium staff for all you do !!!! You wont go wrong calling this place home. Im going on 3 months and I will be a long term tenant :)

During these difficult times Ive had to move out and started looking for a new home. A friend recommended me to Arium and Im so glad he did! New management has taken over and they are very professional and courteous. Karen in the leasing office is very attentive and kind. Any problems Ive had have been resolved quickly.

We enjoyed living at Uptown West. The office was always helpful, especially Karen. She went over and beyond and always kind. Karen helped me with the move out process and was very attentive.

The place is amazing and the assistant property manager Karen has been very helpful and understanding through COVID. I’ve had hardships come across my path recently and through communication we’ve been able to work it all out together. I can’t thank the team enough and especially Karen for everything they’ve done. The apartment complex is very nice, clean and the hospitality only makes it that much better. I renewed my lease here at Arium for the upcoming year and I’m so excited to call this place home!
