She is wonderful!!! Such a cute salon in a very nice building. I have gotten airbrush tanning done for special events for years and she was the most thorough and professional. Additionally, she was able to get me in as a last minute appointment! Will 100% go back and recommend! Oh! And her pricing was great/competitive too!

Best air brush tanning service in town! Great pricing and promotions. Ive tried other places and they dont compare to the quality and the application to Body Brushed. Im naturally very fair and so Ive always had an issue with you being able to see the tan on my hands and feet but not with Body Brushed. Try it!

I have been a regular at Body Brushed for years now, and Im still so thankful that I found this place! The owner is very sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She gives the best spray tan, with the evidence being that I always receive compliments (multiple) after getting a tan.I cant imagine anyone being displeased with their service, they cater to each client and add special touches like a thorough hand cleaning, drying, and powder before sending you on your way.They have recently moved locations, so make sure and pay attention when you book, and perhaps confirm if you are confused. They are starting over and decorating the new place, I cant wait to see how great it looks when they are finished. The new location is at the corner of Wakeforest and Bissonnet, across from Pinks Pizza. It doesnt sound difficult, but based on another review, I suppose some people are directionally-challenged.Either way, if you want great service and a fantastic, natural looking tan, I truly believe this is the place to go, I have not been disappointed yet...

Let me start with saying that I am NOT an easy customer. I am extremely pale and like to look extremely tan, so I am always worried I will look weirdly orange. I had an appointment with Shannon and was running a little behind, but made it to Body Brushed just a little after 10. She was the sweetest person ever!! She asked me what I was looking for and decided on the appropriate solution. While I was tanning I became very lightheaded and almost passed out (I have very bad anxiety and am not a skinny girl haha). I felt horrible because I knew I would mess up the tan and we were already drying me. She told me to STOP saying sorry because there was nothing to apologize about--Im telling you this woman is amazing! She got me a glass of water and some food to increase my blood sugar levels. After I sat for about 30 minutes, she sprayed me again. I then messed up the inside of my elbows (see what Im saying about being a difficult customer?) and she sprayed them again! The owner, Kristi, even called me to check on me and see if I needed anything at all. That is such above and beyond customer service. And my tan came out AMAZING!!! It is very even and a great color. I will definitely be back! They have the best prices and best customer service in town! I highly recommend! :)

So my first spray tanning was at Bronze bar, I later regreted that decision becuase my spray tan was so streaky, my hands and feet were my natrual skin tone while the rest of my body was brown... it was not a good look. Some areas of my body were missing the spray tan, especially the sides of my arms. The lady who did my tan seemed as if she was in a rush and my tan wasnt even for 5 mintues. I immediately saw streaks on my body when I went home. The lady at the front was rude while I was checking out.. it was an awful experience overall.I later then decided to check out Body Brushed and I LOVE it. I went today at 2:15 and was immediately greeted with a smile. I felt very comfortable with the lady who did my spray tan. She took her time and was paitent with me considering I made the mistake of putting the lotion she gave me on my knees. She buffed out the lotion and reapplied the spray tan. I will definitely be going back to Body Brushed and will reccomend friends.

WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE! I recently went here and it was by far the WORST experience. Small House in the middle on Rice Village. So filthy when I took off my Flip Flops my feet were BLACK, it did not come off for a week. Walls were brown and sticky, I was also waiting thirty minutes when I booked a appoinment. The lady had such a bad attitude and was very UNPROFESSIONAL. I will NEVER go back or recommend Body Brushed to my friends.

Its safe to say I wont be going back to Body Brushed ever again. Im leaving for a wedding out of town today and wanted a tan for the wedding. So I had an appointment yesterday (Thursday) at 7:45 p.m. I havent gotten a spray tan since a streaky orange Mystic Tan I got before a cruise in 2005. But the reviews for Body Brushed were so good that I was really excited to give it a try. So I arrive at 2431 Sunset Blvd. I walk into the little house and it is dark and empty. I had read in someone elses review that they dont greet you right away if theyre with a client, so Im thinking maybe thats whats happened. I call out, Hello? Hello? acouple of times. Nothing. Its kind of scary. Its dark and abandoned. I go back outside. Yep, theres the sign for the business. Yep, it says Body Brushed on the door. Whats going on? So I call. The woman who answered the phone said, Oh, youre at our old location. Huh? Yes, apparently theyve moved. She gives me directions to the new location at the corner of Wakeforest anfd Bissonet, not too far down from the old location. Fine. I drive there. I have trouble finding it and call 2 more times for directions (the first time they dont answer and Im getting really frustrated; second time they answer). Anyhow, I finally find it. Its now in a really hidden little space in some sketchy looking office suites. I actually end up arriving just about right on time since I was actually early went I went to the Sunset location. It was like 7:48. I walk in and it looks like theyve just moved. Theyre in the process of painting and it smells like paint. Theyve chosen a hideous yellow color for the walls (I would really re-think that if I were you, Body Brushed). There was another custoimer waiting for her tan ahead of me and the woman says shell do her tan and then be right with me; she apologizes for the wait. I say, no problem. She asks me about what color tan Im looking for. Im super-pale and say I just want whatever the lightest is. She says okay, thats Level 5. Fine. She takes the other woman in the back to do her tan. Then she goes in the back again. Then she comes out and says that shes really sorry, but shes opened her Level 5 tanning spray and it looks like theres some kind of factory defect; like the tan color is not mixed in with some white component or something. She says shes really sorry and can she reschedule me. I look at her in disbelief. I believe shes really sorry, but still I wasted my time and now I dont have time to go anywhere else to get a tan before the wedding. Suffice to say, I had a really bad experience with this business. Maybe she does do a good job; I just wont be back to find out.
