I enter a contract on 11 July 2021, to have my old air condition 2ea and duct work removed and reinstalled with new ones. AFTER completing the job my house is not cooling. I was told to leave them on 70 degrees and the house is still not cooling. On day 2 after arriving home from work my ceiling was leaking water from several place, Im luck I came straight home if not whatever was leaking out of that a/c would have destroyed my $2500.00 rugs. Throughout the house there are black spots in my carpet upstairs and downstairs. Ive called the company several of times spoken with managers and others to be told it will be fix next week and when next week comes another excuses is given. Ive tried for the last time today, Ive spoken with John, the GM. The cost of the removal and install was $30,000.00. If this is how they treat me with 30K, I can only image if you spent less. If you are looking to have any a/c work done please do not use Royal Air Air Conditioning & Heating..

I had a very pleasing experience working with Royal Air replacing my failed outdated A/C system. The system was 17 years old and the duct work was 36 years old. The installers replaced the outside condenser & coil with Carrier 5 ton units. Installed all new duct work and a new plenum box. Our air handler is only 2 years old and did not need replacing. The install team was fast and knowledgeable. They got it done the same day I signed the contract. Customer service responds very quickly.

We had a new HVAC system installed by Royal Air in March of 2020. From the beginning, the company did not show up on time and left the job half done. They only came back because I advised the finance company not to pay them because it was not finished. They came back and finished. Since then the unit has gone out twice. The first time we were without AC for 5 weeks. This time, it has been 3 weeks and they are using the same excuses as the first time. Do NOT hire this company. You get what you pay for. Their service is terrible and customer service is even worse.

We bought an entire AC system inside unit and outside unit. One guy fell through my ceiling...see pictures. This still hasn’ts been repaired to my satisfaction, that was 3/19/21. Then a few hours later another guy falls through the living room ceiling. Poor quality and no concern of the problems they created. Also they stepped on a pipe in my attic and never said anything therefore it leaked and got my ceiling wet. My husband had to fix the leak. I would NOT recommend using ROYAL AIR in HOUSTON TEXAS. Not sure about their service but their drivers are reckless and almost caused 2 accidents on 2920 this morning. Definitely wouldnt trust a company who employs people who dont value safety and courtesy in all aspects. The sad part is we are actually looking for an ac company right now too. Guess we can check these guys off the list.

I am extremely disappointed with Royal Air. They are very quick to sell you their A/C units, but when it comes to servicing your A/C that is an entirely different story. I bought two brand new units in May 2020. After the installation several of the rooms were not cooling properly, I called them four times to get someone out to my house to get the problem fixed. Every tech that came out would go up to my attic and just move the ducts around. I finally got tired of calling them so I hired another A/C company. They discovered several of my vents were closed, now why did Royal Air not check that? This weekend I noticed my first floor is very hot, my room temperature is 81 degrees. How is is possible to have issues with a brand new A/C unit? I am starting to wonder if Royal Air installed a refurbished unit. The reason why I decided to purchase a new a/c system is to avoid all the headaches that come with an old a/c system. This is not my case, I continue to have problems, the sad part is I paid high dollars for a brand new a/c system. Royal Air has a very poor service department. I have called them several times to get them out over the weekend, but the earliest available appointment is in two weeks AND they will charge you $89 up front before they come out to your house. My children and I cannot wait two weeks to get our A/C repaired, that is just unacceptable. Their service is horrible! Please DO NOT buy from Royal Air, I seriously DO NOT recommend them. They will take your money and forget about you.

The company has issues with communication. I spent hours on hold while the system fluctuates informing the customer on their number in line.The install did not provide me a new thermostat as requested as my 2018 one from royal air is faulty. My AC is now not working again less than two weeks after they attempted to fix it. It’s a newish system under warranty and I paid another $2k on improvements that haven’t fully solved the issue.It will likely take them another month to make a service appointment.

I had new ac and duct work installed in my home last year. I experienced the worst customer service when one of my ac stopped working last week. Put on hold for hours before being scheduled. The tech came this week and the issue is fixed but all this while I felt being on my own once they have sold me units.I was happy with their installation but not satisfied with their customer service and after-installation service. After spending 10s of thousand of dollars, you want peace of mind for at least 2-3 years. I m sorry but this does not appear to be with this company.

SENIOR CITIZENS BEWARE: I purchased a new 3-ton Carrier Air Conditioner that needed a repair 5 months after being installed. Then, ten months later the blower motor goes out and Royal Air would not honor the warranty, stating because I did not call and set-up a routine service maintenance schedule, the warranty was voided. Note: I was not aware this had to be done.Beware of this company’s contract and warranty agreement. Make sure you know what frivolous things will void the warranty. Royal Air does not honor customers. It is out to make the sell and then wiggle out the warranty. It is a bait and switch company. It operates like a used car dealership. Be careful!

The business texted and call me and my wife, to inform us that they had a service technician in route, to repair the outage of our ta/c unit. The text that was sent, also obtained a link to be able to track the technician’s arrival time. Once the technician arrived whose name was Jose, Jose was able to evaluate the problem and make the repair in less than 15 minutes. Jose was awesomely professional, experienced and knowledgeable with pleasure, because we used Royal Air. I truly thank Royal Air for their time and service.God Bless🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Horrible! They won’t honor their unit repairs that is still under warranty! They installed less than 3 years ago and I have a home warranty coverage! They are not telling the truth about our policy and their service!! We are without cooling and we are in our 70’s! They are just not right!

Had my new AC and heating system installed back in March. The cooling system has not worked properly since the installation. I have already had to replace defective parts or components damaged during installation. Getting someone to call me back to assist me reflects the poor customer service. I do NOT recommend using Universal AC.

We just had the Royal Air Team come out last night.From the initial call with the scheduler and the estimator was at the door at around 16:30pm he did an outstanding survey was very informative, we opted to replace both of our systems from a 2 ton and a 3 ton to 2x3 ton systems including all duct work.The install crew arrived as the estimator was leaving around 18:30, They worked their butts off, very professional, clean and tidy. They worked through completion in the rain and with a smile every step of the way.100% satisfaction and would recommend to anyone who is looking to replace their systemsThanks again Roland and the entire Royal Air team for a 1st Class Experience

If I could give this business Zero Stars, I would. They were the vendor provided by Cinch Home Warranty to service my AC unit which was not working properly. The agent came by, took a quick look in the attic and let me know that my evaporator coils were leaking, which caused my unit to not be as efficient. I let him know that I suspected that, because we noticed a ceiling leak from the secondary drain. I told him we had our own vendor come out to repair the secondary leak but wanted to use the home warranty to fix the main AC issue. I asked the Royal Air agent when he would be able to fix it, and he said it had to go thru the authorization process first from the home warranty. After a week of nothing, I called Cinch for an update and they said the Royal Air agent had closed the claim and nothing else needed to be done. When I argued with them about the claim, I had to schedule another appointment with Royal Air to take a look at the model name/number of our outdoor unit for them to complete the claim. After the agent returned a 2nd time to get this information (which he should have done on his initial visit), I waited a few days and I called the Cinch for another update. They told me that the agent had closed the claim again with a note that I had fixed the issue myself. So now I have to schedule a 3rd appointment with Royal Air and argue with them about paying another $50 service fee because of the incompetence of the first service agent. This business is completely unprofessional.

Unsatisfied does not even describe how I am feeling right now. We decided to replace our old AC unit June 3rd. The whole thing seemed so rushed I should have trusted my gut. The salesman was quick and all talk but it seemed like a great deal so we signed the dotted line. Installation same day.... what? Thats when it all went wrong. They were late go there at 8pm it was pouring rain, they didnt finish until almost 11. Well they must have done something wrong because now our brand NEW unit is not working right. I have spent 3 days and over 12 hours collectively on hold and still can not get an installation person to talk to. I was able to speak with one service rep only to be told that I need installation dept. I am sick to my stomach my house has been 98 for 2 days in a row. We cant even go upstairs. I am calling the finance company and my CC to fight all charges, until this is taken care of.

Since that time, our unit has been serviced by Royal Air and we’ve always been pleased with the personnel sent to service the units. We have two units.

Royal Air Houston came through like a Champ in October 2020 with two systems for our new home remodel. Everyone else was super expensive. Recently, we had an issue with our 2 TON unit, and the receptionist sent someone, Karon Smith, out to get us back up and running. Royal Air of Houston takes care of their customers and always honors their warrantied customers. Dont shop anywhere else because the best deals on Air Conditioning and Heating systems are at Royal Air. If you are retired military, like I am, save your money and call these guys for the best quote in town. Also, Karon Smith was one of the best air conditioning repairmen I have met in a long time, with his service with a smile and professionalism. Thank again, Karon!!! Royal Air, promote him.

The young man came to my home to preform repair my unit. He did not have a mass, no foodies. He informed me that my thermostat needed replacement. He preformed some adjustment to my thermostat. My unit came on but, failed. I realized that after returned home. I was at least run the fan motor . The adjusts he preformed on my thermostat is now is not responding to no turns my trying to turn on the fan. He said a thermostat could cost me $500 dollars. My checking with lows and, Google could cost at most $200 dollars. I am with no air an asthma and, other lung problems.

Good luck getting it fixed in the summer once it breaks down. They wanted to schedule a visit one week out while the unit was still under warranty AND they were gonna charge an 89 dollar service fee.So their business formula seems to be: quote cheap rate to get it installed and when it breaks down rake in the dough on service fees.They also couldnt find the warranty and were likely going to charge for parts unless I produced proof.

I financed a new installation scheduled 8/2/2021. The company is unresponsive and reluctant to address customer concerns after the contract is signed. My sales Rep was Roland. Installation is contracted to a different company and if you have questions you are directed to call Royal Air and you are either on hold or given the run around. The first day, no one on the crew spoke English so I was unable to communicate or ask questions. The ceiling fell in and they had to call someone to explain my options: either WAIT TO SCHEDULE someone else to repair in a couple of days or get it done myself. So this means they would have left me with an open ceiling after installation. I also learned a new installation does not include insulation. I was instructed to call the company that has not returned my calls to get another quote for installation or any other questions I have. Im very concerned about warranty service or any issues I may have after installation. Very disappointed and much anxiety after reading the recent reviews. Im praying I do not have any issues with the newly installed unit because its apparent the customer service is poor after the contract is signed.

Terrible customer service after the sale and bad install. Installers left a drain pipe disconnected resulting in water damage to the ceiling and walls on two floors. They did repair quickly and to my satisfaction.However since then has been a nightmare. First, reaching anyone is a test of will. They put you on hold and the call waiting service tells you what caller you are and how long the hold is anticipated. Somehow you can go from caller 3 with a 4 min hold time to caller 4 with a 9 min hold time, then finally after 40 min you get to “next caller” with a 1 minute hold time before it then says you are caller 2 with a 4 minute hold time, followed by “you are caller 2 with a 9 min hold time”. Then “14 min”…. And so on.Finally after 3 days of trying to reach someone (I have kids and a job and can’t spend hours on hold) I was able to schedule service. 3 weeks out!The day before service date we get 3 texts to my wives phone (not the number given at service scheduling) the first 2 confirmed our service and the final one canceled it. So here we go again… have to call them. And it was the same song and dance.In the middle of an hour long hold I get a call from Royal and they are confirming my appointment time?! He said everything was fine and they’ll see me tomorrow.Guess what, no one showed! Back on hold now for the last 90 min.Started out caller #3 got myself all the way to next in line before getting kicked back a slot to 2 and now it went from 2 min estimated hold time to 22 and counting!There are soMany other companies to use. Don’t use this one. Service is way to important on big ticket items like these.Update: finally made it to next caller AGAIN and then 5 min later I was caller #4. Current hold time has been 75 min and estimated another 30 now. Which is likely all day. This is Royal Air folks.

Purchased complete system month ago, 1st time i called they came out right away. I have been calling for the last 3 weeks, am left on hold then told to leave name and message someone will call ne back. As of today still waiting. Left emails for Bryan Odom and still have not heard from him. Just sold me unit and now no response. My lights are still flickering, unit making knocking noise and not cooling like it should. We bought a new A/C unit in summer of 2020 after the old unit stopped working. About a week after installation the new A/C unit started making a loud rattling outside and wasnt cooling the house properly. E.g. we would set desired temperature to 72, and house would only actually get cooled to 76. Called Royal Air to get the unit serviced, they checked the inside unit in the attic, they ensured freon was filled, and checked temperature of the air coming from vents. Sounds like they did a good job, right? WRONG. Until the end of summer, which is usually October in Houston, we continued to have the same issue; the outside unit making a loud rattling noise and the house not being cooled properly. Since purchasing the unit last year until today weve had at least 10 visits from service techs. It was only until about two weeks ago when one of Royal Airs techs, identified a coil leak. He then told me I would be contacted to schedule an appointment to get the coil repaired. After waiting a week for someone to call back I drive out to the location myself to get some answers. The manager promises to send his best guy and resolve the issue. The guy comes out first thing in the morning does an hour or two of work, and I seriously believed the issue is resolved. THE VERY NEXT DAY guess what I hear from my A/C unit, loud rattling noises and STILL NOT COOLING THE HOUSE PROPERLY. Imagine spending $10,000 on a brand new A/C unit, suffering through the Houston summer without proper cooling in your home, contacting those responsible for servicing your newly purchased product, and waiting a whole year for a proper diagnosis. The lack of urgency and inability to deliver proper service is upsetting and unacceptable. Its clear to me that this unit is faulty and needs to be replaced. I hate leaving negative reviews but again its been an entire year and my family and I are still dealing with the same issue

Well, our AC has been out for almost 3 days and we went through our home warranty, Home Serve and this company is what they gave us. We were given an ETA of 8a-1p, two days after we called the warranty company and they told us a tech should be out same day. It has now been 90 minutes past that 5hr ETA and I still haven’t been given any sort of updated time. We have two baby boys and have had to make it through two days and nights already of 70%+ humidity and 85 degree weather. Not a fan of this company. Ask for a different one if you go through your warranty company.

They were great getting someone out right away when I purchased it but since then they are horrible. They sell you on free repairs and servicing but great luck getting them out. I have been on the phone for over an hour. Every time I am told I am next in line I jump back to caller number 2 or 5 or 8 and the time just keep extending. I would definitely go with someone else if you ever really need someone to come out and look at it after install. Added the photo. Still waiting

I honestly dont like to leave negative comments because in the beginning with our sales guy Don. He was so informative and helpful it seemed.. Plus I call him and he explains that right now is the busiest time of the year. I get it. We had AC system installed to replace our old outdated unit. My dissatisfaction and disappointment is with the call center and service side. They dont answer and when they did no one shows up. Service side says to me,that since our unit is so new that it still belongs to install team . I call install and they dont answer at all. These installers cut my attic access door in half and left it that way. I had to buy another attic access door and install it because heat was pouring in through that opening. I think there really is more they could do to make this from a terrible experience to a 5 star service that latterly blows peoples minds. So much potential with this company I almost wish that I could insert myself in the day 2 day operations and make that happen.. We are not happy with their service as of today. I could have waited and paid a little more for better service with someone else and if you can too please consider finding a more reliable customer service oriented company. Especially if replacing a AC system. As I said in the beginning. This is not towards Don. Its the the lack of communication between service department and install team. You just get done installing a whole new AC system. Call your customer and ask them: Is everything good? Are you happy? What problems do we need to address? That my friends would go a long with customers.

I have had issues since day 1 with this company; They replaced my complete AC system & Ducts and it has been one issue after another. I currently have a leak, that is coming through my foyer, they tell me to turn off the AC system and they will come by Next Monday, 8 days counting today.I called out an independent AC guy who advised of numerous improper installation spots ( I have pictures ). When I called them back they said they would have to evaluate the issues; If They Didn’t Do It Correctly The FIRST Time Do You Think They Will Admit That And Correct Them??‼️I CAN NOT TRUST THEM;I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND GOOD LUCK 🍀 TO THOSE THAT USE THIS COMPANY.TOOK MY MONEY 💰 AND RAN 🏃‍♂️ ......

The home warranty HomeServ contracted them for a repair order for water in the condensate pan. It was not leaking or overflowing. I just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with my unit. The technician diagnosed the problem without ever looking at my A/C unit. They charged me $350 to unclog the condensate drain line. When he finished, he left a towel in my condensate pan and lied saying that the condensate pan will dry. In the middle of the summer, condenser coils will always condensate. Bottom line is they played on my ignorance of A/C units, deceived me, and performed a service that was not needed. Their technicians have low moral. DO NOT PAY THEM UPFRONT. Oh and HomeServ is getting cancelled, I can do a better job of finding my own contractors.

My ac had been down for three weeks now. The technician first came out because the ac was leaking water from the coils that was not properly cleaned the first time. Well the ac was working just fine blowing cold air until he went up in the attic and started messing with the electric side of it and then he calls and says that it keeps blowing fuses. So he eventually leaves saying that he couldnt get any response from the manager letting him know what to do. The next weekend he shows up at 6 am on a Sunday morning just to tinker with it and winds up blowing the transformer and was sent to get used parts to fix the system after the home owner paid over $2,000.00 for the system to be fixed properly. He leaves and comes back with a box full of parts and still doesnt have what he needs and then tells me he needs to have another technician to be here with him cause he doesnt know what to do. Now we are waiting for the company to get someone back out to hopefully get it figured out. Would not recommend atvall

This is the forth time trying to get a technician to fix our mini split unit and was unable to do so. Every time the technician was unfamiliar or didn’t have to part. Are unit has only ran two weeks since the installation which was put in over four months ago. When trying to contact the company I get put on hold for over 2 hour to speak with someone. We had a new system and ductwork installed over a week ago now. In order to install the air handler in the attic, they had to remove our attic stairs. We were told someone would come the next day to reinstall the attic stairs, as well as repair the 2 recessed lights they broke. No one ever showed up and despite multiple calls both to the office and to the salesperson who very willing and quickly took our money, they not only have failed to repair the stairs and lights, nor will they respond to us. Regarding the new AC system, it’s hard to tell if we will ever get the promised improvement in efficiency. With a big gaping hole in our ceiling where the attic stairs should go and hot air from the attic pouring through, it’s really hard to tell. If you hire this company don’t paid in full up front. Insist on 50% deposit and hold onto the remainder until all work and needed repairs to your house are completed. Obviously, we will have to hire and pay for someone out of our pocket which kind of negates the ‘discounts’ they were supposedly offering. Do NOT recommend.

To say I am greatly disappointed is an understatement! Complete new install of a 19 seer unit and air handler. First week of June 2021 and still isnt running. Will not answer calls, emails, or text... timely. The response time is in weeks. These guys are the worst I have ever experienced 80+ degree home for better part of a month, and I dont think they will reimburse us for out hotel stay. So far a $20k invest in a piece of garbage no one else will touch ...

Excellent and fast customer service! Craig gave us an accurate quote and gave us options. We went with a totally new HVAC system including all new duct work with 100% financing. The installation crew worked hard and completed the job in about 10 hours for our 2000 sf home in Orange, TX. Our system is all electric and we hope to see lower utility bills and more importantly we are looking forward to a much higher indoor air quality to avoid allergy issues. The 15-year-old equipment that was removed had an enormous amount of mold. We were so happy to see it leave the house. My darling wife and I highly recommend this company!

They were quick to get me to sign and install the new AC unit. But when it wasnt working right since the first day it was installed they took a week to come back and fix it. They said they would be there at 9am to fix but didnt show up till after 7pm. They also broke the sheet rock ceiling leaving a huge hole and cracks when they made the installation. Its been two months and they still havent fixed the ceiling like they said they would. I have tried to call multiple times and they just leave you on hold. Would not recommend services or installs from them. The only time have since been contacted by your company was on 8-25-21. I was told it would be fixed on 8-26 at 10am. By noon no one had arrived so I contacted the office. I was told some one would contact me within in an hour. All I got was a text 530pm apologizing saying they didnt know what happened. Its disgusting how you guys treat your costumers considering you charging about $20k for this unit that was supposed to be an all new parts install yet there are many things you guys didnt even change.

My concern with this company is the lack of responsiveness to customer concerns and it starts at the top. The owner George is a very non responsive and disrespectful owner. His staff follows his lead. In my experience is coming February I spent almost $10,000 and they didn’t see a need to come out and do the repairs when I called them on multiple occasions. It was in May before they finally came out and did the repairs from the original install. When I had issues with my breaker tripping and I even contacted the owner he put it back on me to get my breaker repaired. Then when I asked him to still come out and validate there is nothing wrong with the system because of how it was sounding he told me if I found nothing wrong with it then he would be charging me a service fee. I’m not sure about anyone else but this is not the kind of service that I would expect from any organization when you’ve just spent $10,000 with them in less than six months. I would not recommend this company because you can’t guarantee they’re going to keep their word and come back and fix the things they need to fix if something goes wrong. I wish I had made a different choice in AC companies.

Had Mike Garza with Royal Air to come look at the a/c unit because it wasnt blowing after the winter storm came. He was on time and very professional. Upon checking the a/c unit, he stated that the circuit board was not working. He did a lot of explaining about the system we had. Which was a Goodman unit. Had a choice to just replace the circuit board or just replace the whole system. Made an appointment a few days later with John, who was also on time. Talked to John and he was professional as well and we decided to just replace the whole a/c unit, since it wasnt a guaranty on how long the circuit board would last with the old Goodman unit. Had a/c unit replaced the same day. The installation guys where on time and it didnt take them no time to replace our system. Which was about 2 and a half to 3 hours to replace. They cleaned up behind themselves and did a great job. Thank you guys at Royal Air.

My ac went out Monday night called Tuesday morning. A rep showed up at my house Wednesday morning we agreed to terms the rep reviewed the terms throughly and was very upfront on what needed to be repaired how long it would take and cost. After agreeing to the contract Wednesday morning the person who installed Dominguez) was back in two hours completed the job the same day and by bedtime the house temperature was cool comfortable and working well. The tech cleaned his work area, showed my husband how to maintenance the filter in the attic and even programmed my thermostat before he left. My experience was quick and relatively painless. I would most definitely use this company again but according to the sales rep the unit I got last for years and years. I am very please with everything so far but have been assured many times if I have any issues not to hesitate to reach out for a service call which is covered for at least the next year.

Since July 2021 with installation, we have had nothing but problems with this company. When the salesman came out, it was relayed the unit would be set up as it should be and I would have to pay yearly for maintenance fee. I was ok with that. After installers came and left, my husbands tool came up missing. An impact to be exact. We called Royal Air and emailed Gustavo about the situation but again, noone ever responded. We knew it would be our word against theirs, however the fact noone even called to check up after installation or to follow up about concerns was flag #1. A month and a half went by and we realized we did not have a filter, the unit was leaking, and our home was not cooling properly. We notified Royal Air and a technician was sent out about a week later. He was told to clear the drain lines. Drain lines were cleared and we assumed issue was fixed. Few days later, the unit is still dripping water. At this point, we notice the sub flooring is soaked underneath the unit and is now leaking on the floor behind the unit into our daughters room onto the new padding and carpet WE JUST HAD INSTALLED!!!! Not to mention there is mold starting to accumulate! AGAIN, we notify Royal Air and let them know all the issues going on. AGAIN, had to wait a week for someone to come out. Technician arrives, and states we need a filter to fix the condensation issue. This technician Dadrick is the only person from this company who remotely even attempted to try and fix the issue. Much less just listen! Not only did he drain the lines as told, but listened to all of our issues and was the person who actually got us in contact with the president, George. The heart of this technician (caring) DOES NOT MATCH the company he works for. He went above and beyond. WHY WERE WE NEVER TOLD ABOUT HAVING TO PURCHASE THE FILTER FROM THE BEGINNING? Had I been told from the beginning I would have to purchase the filter, it wouldnt have been an issue! My husband Chris spoke to GEORGE, the president today, and the man came across as if it was an issue that he had to call and talk to us about our problems. Not only did he come across as rude, he was not trying to listen to the issues we had, and did not resolve anything. The technician again was told to clear the drain line, AGAIN, and that was it. I call George to discuss his reasoning for not fixing the issue and of course, he sent me to voice-mail. But now, because we were never told to purchase the filter, we will have to replace our sub flooring and carpet because Royal Air refuses to take responsibility and rectify this issue.Im sure the owners response to this post will be something to reflect my fault.At this point, I will have to cut my losses and notify a company who will have customer service and understanding. This experience with Royal Air proves to me they have no respect for their customers nor their employees.

1. We made a pro-active decision to replace our aged and worn central air unit before it failed. We paid in FULL prior to committing to an installation date. Full payment completed 18-Jun-20212. Installation date 22-Jun-2021.3. (1) installer arrived about 0930 and started work to remove old equipment.4. Same installer dropped ac equipment from back of truck while trying to unload by himself. I only heard the dropping of items and they were already removed by the time I arrived at the scene.5. Second installer arrived about 1030; followed by our disgruntled neighbor. Apparently this individual entered the neighborhood through the Exit Only gate and forced my neighbor to swerve to avoid contact. NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATION of Royal Air!6. Observed 14 SEER label on hardware; paid for 16 SEER7. Installers tried to get me to sign completion paperwork before showing me the work. Upon inspection, the attic installation was faulty - massive cold air leak between coil and furnace (installer simply installed tape on what should probably be a factory sealed connection with metal or sheet screws?8. Condenser unit is very noisy. Installer simply stated it was the compressor and normal. I have had a couple of central air units installed in my past, and they were all whisper quiet when new9. Contacted Sales (Roland) to inform him of the situation. He gave me contact numbers for John Martin (his boss) and George (Royal Air owner). Left a message with John who never returned my call.10. Texted George (22-Jun-2021) to request a call and he agreed to noon next day. Called him at noon the next day and was advised that he would send someone out to inspect the work. Nobody showed, or called.11. Customer Service contacted me 23-Jun-2021 and scheduled appt for Friday morning inspection.12. Received a call from my wife informing me that we have a leak coming through our living room ceiling (right below the newly installed equipment). Left the office and went home to investigate.13. Identified water in the catch pan, and the leak coming from the corner of the coil unit (??). Damage to ceiling and area or size of damaged area still unclear14. Contacted George and advised of the situation. He stated he would have someone over by 3pm today 24-Jun-2021. It is now 430pm and no communication received regarding status.15. Wife getting unhappy with temperature in home; so I have been on hold with Royal Air customer service for 53 minutes now.16. Very very unhappy. I have been challenging this installation since it occurred and the communication from Royal Air has been far below satisfactory. We paid in full and received damaged, possibly incorrect, and incorrectly installed equipment that is currently damaging our home, with very minimal feedback or support.17. Repair crew arrived 8pm and had to re-align the plenum (apparently original installation was not level which caused the leak)18. Second repair member arrived the next day to verify the Seer rating (confirmed 16); during this visit it was observed that the duct work to the master bedroom had been shortened, due to the amount of cuts and re-installations, and had a forced 90 degree bend in order to fitstill dealing with issues and out of allowable character on this feedback - SHOP AROUND

-Cliff notes edition-Initially I got ghosted by royal air after making an appointment. Once the Technician showed up He was friendly and professional. The service went well.Once I got ahold of Royal Air they righted the issue I had, However...The detailed story.I got hooked up with Royal Air through Fixd.com. Back in August 2020 I had Fixd.com install a new AC system I purchased through them in my house, part of this system was a warranty and maintenance agreement.This year I called fixd to set up a maintenance call to check the system yearly as we agreed. Fixd set me up with Royal Air. Now this is when the whole thing fell apart, Im not sure what happened but somehow my appointment was lost for almost a month. I cant say if it was on Royal Air part or on Fixd.coms part.Royal Air called to set up the appointment for the following Monday they call to confirm between the hours of 8 and 1. Monday comes and Monday goes.I tried to call the number given to me by the scheduler, I sat on hold for at least an hour. Once the call connected it was after business hours so straight to voicemail I went. I left a voicemail next day, -no responce- next week -no response-.Rescheduled two weeks later, and set up another appointment,Royal air calls me again to confirm the appointment again. but this time the Technician actually showed up, and completes the job without issue.Long story short once I got ahold of Royal Air they did right by me.

Sold a 3 year old compressor as new and had trouble with it from the beginning. Has never cooled the home as it is supposed to. Had them out 3 times first year, 4 times out the second year and still have not fixed the issue. Now compressor has a leak and is going out and it takes hours to get through their one phone number they use as a contact number. Had a tech come out this morning to look at and repair and he said its the compressor and he cant do anything about it, that the installation team has to work on it so another 24-48 hours, maybe another full weekend, without air conditioning. Horrible products being sold and worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not use them for whatever reason !!

Once I made my decision on what system I wanted, i was given different purchase options. With no pressure for any specific one.The installers were very professional and clean. Changed out 2 heating and air conditioning systems. Called a few times but got no response. Finally got a hold of them explained that the system was not calibrated some rooms getting lots of air and others not so much. My wife told me that their Quality Control came out and said that the thermostat needed to be in a different spot. They said they will turn the report in and someone will come out to move it and recalibrate the air flow. Its now been over a year no sign of anyone coming out to fix it.

I called because my a/c wasn’t cooling. I just purchased the unit last year and it stopped cooling before the summer ended . They scheduled me and canceled my appointment 6 times before finally sending someone else that doesn’t work for them,but helps them on occasion. The gentleman was super polite and fixed the problem quickly in less then 5 minutes. The worst thing is he told me himself that he was in town the day before and was just down the street. Royal Air is a 5-star business during the sales process and install. My 3-star rating is to balance the “free bi annual maintenance”... “service persons” that come out to “service”. It’s a sales call, make no mistake. I, personally feel as if I have invited an intruder into to my home, attic under the guise of, “we’re here to check out your $10k+ brand new system”, but inevitably it ends with you need to buy this $500 part, this $1500 part will help, once even “you know what you should do, trade in this 2 year old unit, we will give you $3500, towards a bigger, newer unit. Keep in mind my bills average $150 a month, and with no guarantee to even save 20%. What, like in 5 more years I will save back the new $1,500 charge. When does the savings ever occur if you keep chasing a pit. And the “service” person is just an up sell person. Why ever take them up on their “free inspections”? Yes! They sell quality. But maybe it’s best to just not invite them back. IMO.

I have purchased a new unit (AC with Heat Pump) 3 years ago. During the snow storm, we lost heat. After the storm we called for service. A tech came out and told us the whole system was fried and need to purchase a new system. Not covered under warranty due to rolling black outs. I called my home owners insurance company and they recommended a second opinion. Another company came in found that the electric heat strips was never wired into the thermostat. And they checked the whole system and is good working condition. The salesman was pushing hard for another sale on top of that! Also you can not talk to a manager. I have ask for them to return a call to me. I do not know if he/her knows if I have any problems. Bad service!!!
