I worked for Davey Tree in the North Philadelphia office...there wasnt too many employees there who had any clues of tree identification... extremely poor company

If anyone is looking for a truly professional and expert lawn service company, look no further than Davey. I have been using this service for many, many years and my lawn always looks gorgeous (and weed free... the lawn is like a beautiful green carpet!).

Wonderful, always calls before treatments. Easy to reach, mostly by email. Very quick to respond. Professional and courteous.

Service was promptly provided by knowledgeable people who went out of their way to exceed my expectations. Extra information and effort was given to educate me about care of my trees. Pricing was reasonable and less than at least one other company.

I went with this company based on these reviews but after confirming the contract on 8/6, I hadnt heard from them and had to call them the next week! I was then told Jason was on vacation and no one else could do anything so just wait another week!! It would have been understandable if Jason had told me it would be a couple weeks to schedule it OR that he’d be away for a week but that didn’t happen. What I was told was that it’d be scheduled quickly (as that was my priority).As to date I haven’t heard anything else so if I’m lucky Jason might call me first thing Monday so I can find out HOW long I have to wait for this work gets done...

Hit and miss. Used for both tree removal and yard care. Quality of work is generally very good. Scheduling and communication subpar. These folks do not know what proactive or timely communication means. It is as if they aren’t utilizing even a rudimentary computer system, but keeping records on paper.

I called Davey to have an unhealthy tree treated. They sent someone to check it out, and he called back to tell me exactly what kind of tree it was, and that it was simply reaching the end of its lifespan. If they were dishonest, they could have charged me for an expensive course of treatment, and I wouldnt have known any better. Instead, thanks to their honesty and excellent service, theyve earned all my future tree service business.

This is our fourth job done by Davey trees. These folks are very professional and careful. Today they removed four trees in middle of my prize daffodils. Very little damage. Would recommend for any tree work. John has been here several times and is so typical of their employees, calm and competent.

Dave’s Tree service came out to our property and gave us an estimate. It was fair, and my husband signed a contract. My husband was told to expect a phone call for scheduleing, that was March of 2018, it is now September 2018. My husband and myself on two different occasions stopped by in Witmer Rd to inquire. The women working the desk could hardly find our inquiry, she eventually found it through our address. She told me that Jason was the guy that we needed to speak to. I left him a voicemail a week ago. My call was never returned. I think this business is extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I have used Davey Tree for lawn and tree care for over 10 years. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable about caring for grass, plants and trees. They are always polite and helpful. The results are always excellent.

Bad service. Made more damage than an actual job. Did not finished what suppose to and ask for payment for the next 4 months. Came back to finish what has to be done and make another small damage to the outside post light. Wouldnt recommend it

Once the representative came out, heard and saw the situation he was very accommodating so as to get the job done ASAP.
