Old Tyme Craftsmen came recommended by my kitchen contractor. What a mistake! When it came time for the work to be done, I couldn’t even get a return call. My contractor had no luck either, so the kitchen remodel had to wait for them. Finally, Ron did call my husband back. We had the kitchen floor refinished, with assurances from Ron that it would match the rest of the first floor. While the understanding was that the color might not match right away, it would be a close facsimile over time. Instead, I got matte floor compared to the glossy flooring that covered the rest of the first floor. Without even touching on color, there was nothing “close” about this. After delaying my kitchen remodel already, we proceeded with the remodel. We have since hired another local flooring company to redo the work and couldn’t be happier. I would caution anyone using Old Tyme Craftsmen. Not only will you wind up chasing them to schedule the work, but the final product may not be what you are expecting.

I’m writing this review while looking at the now lovely, refinished original floors in our home. Olde Tyme Craftsmen did excellent work and made it all easy. The entire process was quick and highly professional, and we are thrilled with the results. They also helped us repair the ornate balusters in our previous home, something others were unable to do.We recommend them often and will definitely be calling when it comes time for another project!

This company is in very high demand, and as a result, you need to “chase” them to get them to respond to you. They are very independent and are hard to reach, even after you become their customer. I went with another company to finish a job that they started for me because they could not get it done and would not return a call. I hired another woodworker to finish my job and that’s when I found that Olde Tyme had priced my job about 50% high. The professionals I hired did an amazing job, repairing the mistakes made by Olde Tyme, did it quickly and on time and communicated with me promptly at every step along the way. If you want to wait in line to overpay for work, Olde Tyme is your best choice.

We are so happy we chose Olde Tyme Craftsmen to install wood flooring in multiple rooms in our home, as well as a new staircase! The floors and staircase in our house look fantastic thanks to Olde Tyme Craftsmen. They are truly craftsmen of wood floors and staircases. Every member of their team were great to deal with from the owner on down. When they were refinishing on the first floor and we were unable to be home, the owner was gracious enough to carry our lab up and down the unfinished staircase to let her out, even after she went for a swim.I would recommend them to anyone. They really know what they are doing.

We hired Olde Tyme Craftsmen to install new wood flooring and refinish existing wood floors all at the same time. The crew was very respectful of our property and belongings, and did an excellent job on both parts of the project. In addition, there was no dust and we were actually able to live in the house as the project was completed. We were very pleased at how minimally this disrupted our lives and the floors look excellent! We plan to use Olde Tyme Craftsmen again for our upstairs flooring.

Hired these guys to replace a wood staircase installed by another company. Ron was good to deal with. Andy the installer is a awesome guy who went above and beyond. Job site was left clean over night and stairs look great!

The thought of doing our floors made us nauseous. We have dogs and a life and our wood floors connect throughout the house. We also just got done with some cabinet work and the though of more mess and dust wasn’t appealing. That said they came on time, were professional, no dust, tried to do everything to let us have a semblance of normalcy so we could still live in the house. Oh and the floors look absolutely spectacular. Better than when the house was new 6 years ago!!! I am not a relative or fake reviewer. I am however a big fan!

Wonderful company, They came when they said they would come, did the work in a timely fashion, and when they were done everything was spotless. Workmanship was incredible. I highly recommend them.

The owner, Ron, responded to my initial call right away and set up an appointment to give me an estimate, I found the price to be fair, his crew arrived when he said they would, polite, friendly and professional. We have three dogs and bamboo flooring, I was amazed at how they were able to bring back the original look of the bamboo. At the end of the week we are very happy customers.

I renovated the attic in an old farm from 1800 and needed someone to refinish the wide pine floors (originally painted). Olde Tyme Craftsmen were the only company out of four that would even take on the job because the floor was badly beaten up and uneven. They did a fantastic job - the floors looks great and have a lot of character. They did not leave a speck of dust & did a great job, on time and on budget.

Very good company to do business with. They say what they do and do what they say. Solid craftsmen and I would use them again for all of my hardwood floor installation and repairs. Honorable people.

Avoid this company. Poor workmanship that required another floor company to redo. Finish did not match, debris on floor or in finish, did half the stairs. Ron is a salesman (according to his own staff) who doesnt speak the truth. WORST PART: rude, unprofessional manner when I called to complain.

The crew did excellent work and were friendly and professional. The finished floors look great and all of our furniture was carefully repositioned.

The owner of the company came to my house to give me an estimate on fixing my old pine floors whch were in most part good shape except for some scratches and dents. I told him I was not expecting perfection, just fix the bad spots. The house is a modest cape with 850 sq ft pine floors throughout. Instead of going over different options, he gave me an estmate of $5,000.00 to fix the floors. I had another company give me an estimate a fraction of Olde Tyme Craftsmen LLC’s price. I could rip up the floors and put in hardwood for that price, but everyone loves the look of the vintage pine. I would not take the day off from work to get an estimate from this company.
