Without a doubt the best haircut I have ever received. The atmosphere and care he takes in his craft is nothing less than phenomenal.I walked in at opening, and my next 30 minutes were spent pampered by a gentle old man with soft 1940s band playing in the background while the hustle and bustle of Waikiki faded away. The result was a great haircut that immediately lifted my mood. This man moved to Honolulu from Copenhagen 4 decades ago, and his long stay in paradise is well-deserved for the value he provides his customers. I only wish to find an establishment of this quality back on the mainland where I live, but I fear I will not. I have respect for the man, his work, and the obvious care hes put into it over his life. He deserves his establishment and my praise.
Not a great haircut to be frank. Hes very old school, so if thats your taste you may find a cut worthwhile
Leon has been cutting hair here for 40 years! Hes a delightful guy and an excellent barber. I was staying right across the street in the Lagoon Tower of the Hilton, so it couldnt have been more convenient! (450 feet?) $30 for a quick, professional trim.Google maps tried to have me walk to the wrong place. His shop is near the Lapperts and back entrance to Round Table pizza.
Found this place while on vacation. I am very happy with the haircut I received. The attention to detail was impressive. My wife was also happy. Thanks!
