Had a flat in my tire. Cost about $32 for the repair. Even mounted it back onto my vehicle for free! Also reset my vehicle tire pressure sensor, & put my spare back under my truck at no cost! Highly recommend these guys for your tire repair! Just plain old good business & customer service!

They were super friendly and helpful. We got a flat and they got us in right away, filled up our spare, and then mounted the repaired tire, putting the spare back in its spot in the trunk. They gave us a discount for wearing a mask too.

I Called Alyeska Tire in regards to ordering tires. I have staggered wheels, so the tires were different sizes. They offered the front set of tires for my vehicle, but they would not even entertain the idea of ordering the rears for the vehicle, nor did they offer to order a different type of tire than what they had on the show room floor. I was even told to call the manufacturer of the vehicle to get the tires. It is Christmas 2020, I was trying to keep it local and spend the coin in town at the local shop, but they just threw egg in my face. I was not being rude, I even emailed their listed email address requesting a quote. They told me to call the store. Why would a business list their email address with sales as part of the address if they dont plan on selling anything.I work at a fleet maintenance facility, have been at it for two decades and know the ins and outs of a mechanic shop for one of the largest employers in my home state. I would never tell my clients what Alyeska Tire said to me. Granted they were cordial, it just did not make me feel like they knew what they were doing.Regardless, I found my tires on the internet. Took me 5 minutes. Theyll be shipped to my door and I will take them to get mounted and balanced else where.

Eric and his team are superb!! Drove down to Homer from Anchorage for the 4th of July weekend and our boat trailer blew a bearing once we arrived in Homer. Called at least 10 repair shops and they are all booked to include Alyeska tire! However, Eric was willing to squeeze us in. They repaired all four wheel bearings in record time allowing us to have 3 full days of superb fishing. Words can’t express how grateful we are to Eric and his team!!

I have been doing business with them for a couple of years after a bad experience with Tire Town. That was in part a misunderstanding and therefore no ones fault in part, however I felt the manager or owner had a bad attitude toward me in the end, even before this problem. The problem was that I had some work to be done, and the manager or owner suggested I bring my work in later in the year when he was less busy. So, I did, but he unexpectedly had a lot of people wait, or seem to suddenly need work done around the end of the year, so he blamed me for waiting too long to bring my car in! I felt blamed for something that was not my problem.I did bring my car to him, and I could have brought it in at another time, but he accepted it, so I brought it to him, anyway, but they failed to mention to me that they were going by special holiday hours, shorter hours than usual, so I mistakenly missed the pick up time to get my car. Their excuse was that they had it posted on the website, but since I do not look at their website ever, this was useless to me. They should have reminded me when I dropped the car off, so I could have known. So, when I took a taxi back there, to my embarrassment and disappointment, they were closed! They were completely closed, and they locked up my keys, and they were utterly unavailable. I emailed, I called, and I went half crazy as I wanted to pay for the work and get my key, and just be on my way.Instead, my car was marooned in their parking lot for the entire Christmas weekend, or New Years, as this was a few years ago now, but I wanted my car with me, not marooned in some dark, lonely public parking lot across from a bar! When I finally heard from the owner or manager, he gave me all kinds of reasons why he was unavailable, a sick brother out of state or something like that, but for a business that size, I still feel it is ridiculous that he had no referral phone, or back up available, so that if there was some emergency, and he was out of town, and no one else was around, there would still be someone who could assist, or relay information, or at least explain politely to me that no one was going to be there until the holidays were over with.I still think they were remiss not to at least have given me a call, once they were close to closing up, to ask me if I could come right in, or if I was all right with my car being parked and abandoned for the entire holiday weekend, but they had no consideration for me at all. They hadnt even the courtesy to lock my car! I was so upset to get there, find my car abandoned in the lot, alone, and their offices shut up. I finally got my car back, even though by that time I was very angry. To make matters worse, I felt blamed for the mistake instead of getting an apology for my inconvenience. Furthermore, I will probably never forget how this ruined my holiday, but it has been a while ago now, so I dont even recall which it was, Christmas or New Years, probably the latter. Anyway, after that experience, I definitely did not want to go there anymore.I was worried sick about my car the entire holiday, which made me feel very sad, and I feel they were the blame. BTW, I felt they got too big for their britches once they got their fancy, new, expensive building and location, and they werent quite as nice, in any case. I guess they were okay on second thought, but it seemed their prices went up, and I was disappointed that their parking lot was in no way, shape, or form wheelchair accessible. There were terrible pebbles in the lot, and no asphalt or concrete or other hard surface, not even dirt, so it is not possible to access. So, I decided to try Alyeska Tire. So far the folks at Alyeska Tire have been great. They cant be any nicer! I have no complaints at all. They have been very nice, good work, reasonable wait time, fair prices, very courteous. I have no complaints or qualms at all in recommending them. They do good work, they are fast enough, they are easily accessible, and they are very nice, very professional, and very easy to get along with.

Five stars. Jim is great to work with.I blew a tire on a new set from these guys and it was unrepairable. They replaced the tire at no charges (just $2.50 for tax) and re-mounted the spare. They also have shops in just about every town in Southcentral Alaska so service is typically close if a fleet rig goes down. I will be using these guys for all my business and personal tire needs. Thanks!

Just walked in, no appointment, they were friendly and helpful. Got a new set of tires on my truck right away. The difference in driving on ice and snow was amazing and the fact a moose was on the road at night 2 days later that I wouldnt have been able to avoid with the old tires prompted this review. 10 stars to the tires.Nokian Rotiivaat AT brand

Polite, neat facility. Went to rotate tires and lube front end of RAM pickup. Rotated the tires but lowered the air pressure to specs without asking me. TPMS wasnt reset. Told me front end could not be lubed even after I brought in manual that called for it. Asked them to look for front drive shaft lube point a second time. Still no joy. Turns out they were half right. Tire rod end cant be lubed but the drive shaft can and must be. Had nearby Scruggs Automotive lube it for me. To their credit, they were polite, reasonably priced and werent going to charge for something they couldnt do. I just expected them to be more knowledgeable.

I bought two new tires from aleyeska about a month ago as I had a ball joint go out I had two good tires on the rear the front tires I had switched out to distribute wear from worn out ball joint they replaced the two rear tires when I said I needed to replace the front tires and move the new tires to the rear when I returned to simply get my tires rotated from the front to the back as aleyeska had made a obvious mistake they quoted rules that he made up and said he cannot do it at all and walked off great service

Took advantage of being out of state. Said they couldnt patch a tire with small break (according to DOT rules). Technically right but trivially small difference 1/4 allowed probably 3/8th inch break. Charged 136 bucks for a 50-70 dollar tire. Unless they take 2 hours to do a tire (which I waited over 2 hours for between getting it into the shop and getting out for a same tire) then theres no way it should have cost remotely this much. Im not one to write bad reviews, probably my first to be honest but this was rediculous.

Quite possibly the absolute worst place to go for auto work in all of North America. On a slow day, it took these gentlemen 2 1/2 hours to change out the oil and a single tire. They neglected to use a funnel and spilled oil all over my engine. Services were overcharged and this ended up being an expensive and frustrating experience.
