My son has only been attending classes for a few weeks but so far I give this place a 10 out of 10. Their customer service is great, they really care about their classes, students, and community. They have been going above and beyond to keep everyone safe and healthy during the pandemic. I cant speak to the specifics of the trade - as my only experience with Karate is from the Movies, but Im extremely satisfied with what my son is learning!

This is a wonderful learning environment for my kids! Everything is positive and well run. The instructors want to see everyone succeed and are great with their students. My children have loved coming here for the past year and a half, and I hope to keep them enrolled for many more years. They have learned so much already. The Camps and Kids Nights are a lot of fun as well!

I have been doing karate for 5 years and I have never regretted even a second of it. Unfortunately I had to leave due to college but everyone is very nice. Kids classes are set up right after school ends and the adult classes are set up at noon and at night so that virtually anyone can participate. The summer camps and holiday camps are absolute blasts to participate in. The instructors are amazing and understanding and some of the best people I have ever met. The dojo is a family that I am glad to have been part of and I would love to come back in the future. If I could, I would give this place even more stars but 5 will have to suffice.

Our child has been going here for many years now, and has finally earned a junior black belt. The staff, students, are respectful and kind. Its a welcoming place, and there is a great focus on responsibility.

This has been a great experience for my 9 year old son. ALL of the instructors have been wonderful to work with. I look forward to many more years at the dojo!!!

We (my 2 kids and me) just started here about a month ago. So far my kids and I love it. Sensei (Mark) is wonderful and the program for the kids really instills positive discipline. For me, as an adult, oh wow...I am sore. ;-) But I am sure I will get past that and reap the benefits--it is quite a workout.

Our children have been students at the Holt Dojo for 7 + years. We have seen them grow in so many ways as a result of the caring and guiding instruction they have received. They have advanced through the ranks of the very beginner to the most advanced. Their confidence has soared as they have been nurtured and trained. I recommend the Holt Dojo highly and without reservation.

My kids have learned so much here, to include about themselves. Sensea Mark is an amazing man and his integrity and character are seen through his staff and all he does.

This is a fantastic place. Both my grade-school-age kids go here. The karate instruction is first-rate; Sensei Mark McCloud and his instructors are the real deal. If youre looking for the opportunity for yourself or your kids to achieve true excellence (which is rare), look no farther. Theyre also great if your goal is just to learn some karate, get some exercise and have fun. The dojo is a great, supportive environment for kids (and adults) of all ages and abilities, and the instructors emphasize and reinforce the development of good character, such as treating others with respect, doing homework and chores, etc., which is an important part of true, traditional martial art instruction. The dojo instructors maintain class discipline well, gently but firmly. This is not the case in all dojos... but its important for the kids to learn karate properly. The dojo also has lots of kid-friendly events, like kids nights and day camps, where kids get to learn karate and play (and watch a movie and eat pizza, on kids nights) in a fun and safe environment. We are so fortunate to have this dojo near us. I recommend this dojo in the highest terms.

We have been going here for over 4 years and can not say enough great things about it. My sons have grown so much not just in the discipline of karate, but as young boys who have self-control, set and reach their goals, and take responsibility for their choices.
