Nobody greets you. Nobody offers to help. No real deals. They jack up prices and then advertise a percentage off. All you gotta do is look online to compare prices and see there is no real deal. Store closing sale is bologna. Good luck.

Where to begin? The staff is extremely slow and not professional. A task that should take a minute at most at their copy department ends up taking 15 minutes, why? Because of a combination of how slow they are as well as not being trained in their jobs fully, anything more involved than a single sided copy ends up with the worker staring at the screen and not knowing what to do. It never fails -- they call the manager and that adds a even longer delay on top of a already long wait. And often times, even the manager is clueless. The store is a train wreck to be honest.I have been a regular customer for the past 7 years and it used to not be this bad. It has only become worse in the past year to two years as they had a location close on University street, and they moved most of their staff to this store on Sheridan street and that includes those with horrendous customer service skills. I previously visited University regularly so I am aware of the staff that was there. They even transferred a manager who helped close down the University store with how poorly she treated customers, she was the reason that I switched to this location to begin with and now she is at this one and she is just as bad! Her name is Patricia or Patrice, it is one of those two. Office Depot, work on your staff and hire GOOD staff, that includes training or disciplining if you need too, even managers on customer service if they lack it, as Patricia does.For now on I am taking my business anywhere but here. It is not worth the headache going to your store.

Eddie Blue and the staff there are awesome. This is definitely a 5 star and not a 3.3 star location. I am a disabled veteran and Eddie and his crew there jumped through hoops to assist me and make my day easier. Seriously thank you.

Worst customer service ever by manager Laura. She was very rude, people like LAURA should not be working as managers. I had to go to an office depot 12 miles away from this one to be able to find the help I needed.

Jeff, the manager, was able to figure out how to refund cost of my returning connecting computer cord back to my account even though I did not have a receipt because Office Depot cash register printer malfunctioned and was unable to print one. This Office Depot store is customer friendly thanks to Jeff and the rest of this store’s staff.

Steve in the furniture department helped me find the chair I was looking for. He truly took the time sand dedication to help me choose, matter o fact, he went to the back and made sure he had the stock. I thought he was very good. Thank you

Patricia.... I been coming to office depot for over 10 years Patricia always respectful, with great customer service and respect to her customers, if she not the manager you guys need to consider.

Rudest staff I have ever encountered for an office depot. They didnt have the ink bundle I needed and the clerks response was that someone had been buying them. So I asked if I could have a combo made and price adjusted. They didnt have the color in in regular size only XL. Called the manager and she couldnt do anything to assist either telling me the combo is not XL color. I knew that as I myself informed the clerk. So, they dont have what you need and obviously the manager could care less if the ch consumer should be assisted and cared for. Never again will I go there. Lack of customer service is beyond unacceptable.

Horrible place to go to. They do NO social distancing their staff I saw many not wearing masks they put it on on when caught. There is a pandemic how terrible to put pops lives at risk by the selfish staff at this office depot. They give little help at the print department either I was never greeted or acknowledged I ended up walking out very upset.

If you need help with anything other than buying office supplies forget it. Print, copy, scan, email etc. you are completely on your own.

I came into the store with quite a few 11x17 prints that I needed copies. The employee put the prints in the copier but because they were previously folded they did not go through the auto feeder. He then said that since they could not go through the auto feeder that he would have to charge more for manual placement and that he could not do the job while I waited. I asked how long it would take and what the charge would be. I think that those are 2 very reasonable questions. The employee then went complete drama queen on me repeating that he would have to hand place the prints and whined for another 3-4 minutes and then went to another customer. I was floored, I waited until he was done with the other customer (about 10 minutes) and then told him that he should have answered my questions and given me form to fill out for the job instead of just leaving me hanging and going to anther customer. He then went full drama queen on me again about the hand placement and such. I stopped him from going to yet another customer and very calmly explained as if I was talking to a 2 year old what he should have done to provide proper customer service. Yet another drama queen act before he all of a sudden realized the message I was trying to tell him. In the end, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever.

When you go to this store, make sure you know the prices of the items what you are going to purchase. Check the item on their website. I found several items in the store that cost double the amount than the the price on their website. They claimed they cannot correct the price, but if you show them the correct amount they will change it for you. Do not let your self ripped off!!! When I asked how does it fair for the next coustomer? The answer was they dont know any better... aweful experience... oh and I was told that I dont understand what I was told by the supervisor...

Don’t trust the people that work on this store. Better don’t buy anything in Office Depot or Office max they don’t have a real information for customers for the products warranty or return policy. Better buy in amazon or Walmart.

Had a great selection of chairs on display. Some of the prices and information were missing making things a bit difficult to shop however an employee named Vic was able to help me despite the rush of customers. He helped me locate the chair I wanted, bought it quickly and I appreciate that he made time for me. Made my day a bit easier. Thanks!

Very very slow service, one of the printers doesn’t have ink and anybody know how to change it I ask for a manager and they said they don’t have a manager that day

Service is good when it staffed correctly. When there is an empty store and hardly any staff available to assist, it takes away from the shopping experience. This is one of the reasons why at times I go to the competition since you dont know who will be better that particular day. Its just mind-boggling.

Tody gave me the best customer service. He helped me look the stuffs I needed on the supply list. He even suggested me the headphones parents are buying. The guy at the front doesn’t even care. He saw me standing in line and he just kept on talking to his coworker.

At the present as I’m in this Office Depot, it’s severely understaffed. Only two workers here. I dare says you can actually rob this store if it wasn’t for the cameras.

They welcomed me and even though they couldnt help me, they referred me to a private tech that could.

Their customer service is the worst! The employees are incredibly unhelpful and move as slowly as possible. The girl at the print center also pretended she never received my print job even though I sent it 3x and had confirmations for each email.

The copy machines are consistently broken and out of service week after week. After returning 3 times I gave up and went elsewhere. The last time, there was a paper jam and the clerk refused to fix it and told me the printer is out of service when the printer screen clearly read paper jam and to get assistance from the clerk. Unprofessional and uncanny.

Worthless place. You cant even get something printed because they just dont want to. Associate was rude and non professional Dont even go there.

Went here hoping to get a Cross pen. I was unsure which model I wanted and thought I could see the difference between them. Only empty plastic display boxes were on the shelves. I asked employee if was possible to see the actual pens and was essentially told to pick the display box for the one I wanted to buy and then they would get it from a lock-up.I just done some online research on the details of different models of Cross pens and got one coming from Amazon. Much easier than the hassle with Office Depot to select and buy a pen!

Worst customer service & management Ive ever seen. From the time you get there I hope you dont plan on printing or needing any form of help from this location because their printers are usually down or broken completely or print half of your project then jam and no one can fix it.

The worst customer service in any Office Depot store. The manager has no interest in making a sell or earning a new customer.I entered the store to understand if can make use of an online sale discount and I was left standing with a message that If you show me the offer, I can check and see if can give it to you, even though I am not supposed to, this is coming from a manager of the store. No willingness to check online for their own prices despite my high interest making the purchase on the spot.Fast forward, I found the same product on Walmart and placed the order within the same date for almost immediate pick up.

Ive never such dumb people working in and Office Depot, perhaps it was just the closing crew 8 p.m. Friday May 10th 2019, but there was five of them, all female, standing at the cash register talking about their stupid personal problems outside of work.Honestly ill just buy overnight shipping and pay a premium for that rather than listen to these 5 imbeciles mindlessly and selfishly ramble about their most non-interesting lives.they were complaining about this and that for a good twenty minutes I was standing there as 1 customer was helped in 20 minutes, 5 employees at one register.It took three of them to remove the Box magnets on an object and all the while 5 minutes into it they were complaining back and forth, as I stood there and watched with a grin thinking wow I get more competency in a third world country. Animals.

Spare yourself wasted time and a terrible customer service experience. First, the staff are highly disengaged. Second, you will never be helped in a timely manner at the FedEx/USPS counter. Ever. Im generally a patient and reasonable person. Ive waited as long as 20 minutes on multiple occasions and had to actually ask someone to help me the last time I was there. Their staff has zero accountability, their management has terrible service recovery, and my spouse and I are still trying to get someone to investigate a check they failed to mail via 2-day delivery. Zero urgency or concern. Never again will I set foot into this Office Depot or any other.

Office Depot has lost my business. I walked into an empty store so I figured I would be able to have someone help me. I found a desk chair that I wanted and found an employee to ask if that chair was available. He told me it wasnt and so I said I would need some time looking for another chair. When I found the one I wanted I found a different associate who said that there are only three of us in the store, I cant help you. Seriously? The store was empty! Could not take the time to even find someone else to help me. I am not going to spend my hard earned money on a store that doesnt care for customer service. Now I know why that place was a ghost town!

The employees at this location hate working here. They all talk to each other through radio but never end up helping us the client. They all seem like zombies. I better het my things through amazon. I was just trying to pick up something i ordered on line.

I’ve worked retail in my past for 8 years and never when asking for a price would tell a customer “go to the front of the store to get a price”. Nobody is in the store and nobody that works there wants to work. Then the register girl tells me I can’t get cash back because she doesn’t want to have to get more money for the register. I guarantee you this location will close down soon. Terrible!!!!

This store is consistently bad for the people in our office. I really couldnt understand the constant complaining in our office but now I understand. I dont know if it is the store management or just the employees you have to settle for when near full employment but I purchased a UPS that looked new but I found out when I got back to the office that someone had returned their bad UPS (Yes, I know to plug in the battery). Another time I visited there was no cashier at the checkout and they were doing all of the checkouts at the copy center which is confusing for customers because there are already multiple lines over there depending on what you are doing. When I came back in to exchange the UPS I opened the box to be sure it was a new one this time and the OD employee thought it would be smart to tell me that now I am buying another open box. Really? You think that was a good time to make a wise crack? When someone is already upset that they had to come to a store twice when trying to replace a down UPS at the office which is depending on it?TERRIBLE STORE. I hope corporate is listening.

Understaffed, staff uninterested in customer service, and over charges for computer time. Ive visited many Office Depot and became use to a certain standard of excellence. This location charges $2.65 per minute of computer time to print or type an item. I waited 30 minutes to print some pages because the print area only had one employee while several walked and lounged around. Upon checkout when I inquired the reason only one person was in the print area to support the store, the Manager said thats how payroll was setup and there was nothing he could do. The Office Depot I frequent is kind, considerate, helpful and amazing with customer service. This Office Depot has put this chain to shame.

I was in your store at 5:41 today. This was a very impt document. I was so scared thinking that l probably lost it. But clerk reassured me and got my document fasr and perfect! I came to make copies of a couple different documents and it was a holiday and they were closing in 5 minutes. They never showed signs of impatience and was quite helpful.

The staff in the copy center isnt very friendly. There are enough employees but they dont communicate well with each other and seem to only be able to help one person at a time at the counter.

Their prices on some items are way,way overpriced. 16.00 for a trifold poster board I wound up buying at a competitor for 9.99 . I had read Office Depot is in bad shape. I wonder why?

After finding what I needed (wireless key/mouse combo) my cashier was very helpful.

Terrible customer service. No even acknowledges when you enter the store. The people at the printing counter see that they have long lines and dont even try to acknowledge how long it will take them to get to you. I wont be back to this location.

I am currently in the process of contacting HR and Corporate to make a complaint on Rebecca who was of no service and extremely rude in ignoring me.I waiting in line quietly for 30mins to send a fax. Upon walking in there were 2 people ahead of me who were both being helped, I was next. A couple walked in after me and was assisted as I continued to wait.I finally asked if I could send a fax, the fax was started and I was left as another customer was assisted.I had no issue until Rebecca began calling people from the checkout line to be assisted. I asked if she could check on my fax because I’ve been waiting for a while, she brushed me off and asked her co-worker (who was assisting someone else) to do so.After the other coworker grabbed my completed fax she asked Rebecca if she could check me out, Rebecca out right said “No” and told her to tell me to wait in the other line (which was abt 5 people long) speaking as if I was not standing in front of her.Ofcourse I am Black and she is Caucasian.. and every customer she assisted ahead of me was Caucasian. Rebecca is rude and does not need to have a position in customer service if she cannot handle treating all of her customers with the same urgency.I am writing this review on the entire store because although it was Rebecca who was rude, no one spoke up as she demanded everyone around her to work, except herself.

Terrible service. Six people in line at the copier center with one person behind the counter. Three other associates just talking to each and letting the phone ring off the hook. The girl behind the copier center had to stop working with a customer to answer the phone.
