One star, is one star too many. Back in September 2018, I set up an apointment with Pep Boys for an alinment on my truck, nothing else. I specifically spoke with the manager about my alinment. I get a phone call a few hours later stating that my trucks bearings were bad and that my alinment was good. When I arrived back at their location, before I even entered the building, I didnt need to go far to see I just made A HUGE MISTAKE! My truck was driven into a pole in their parking lot. Before I entered, I took several pictures and video of my truck and the damage. I had just had my bumpers removed and completely re done from their factory condition as well as re painted to match the rest of the truck. Pep Boys had already destroyed what had only been on my truck for about 2-3 weeks at the time. When I walked inside, I didnt say a word and just directed them outside. This truck, is my baby, she has been in shows and still has work being done to go to high level show competitions. There is no damage on my truck else where. The manager David, stated he was sorry for the small scratch and would like to take it off the bill. Going to fast foward here, the bill? When I asked for my alinment spec sheet to see that it was in fact inline, he stated We cant do an alinment on your truck, its too big to get on the machine. Funny, so now what bill? They could have told me that when I had dropped it off, its not the first time my truck had been there. David wanted me to go around the corner to some knock off shop to get the bumper touched up, I THINK NOT! I just spent over $800 to have the work done on my truck, not to include other costs. It may not be the nicest truck in the world, but they darn well knew I keep my truck Immaculent, scratch free and take the utmost pride in my truck. To drive my truck into a pole, dent it, scratch it, and not hear nor feel the damage at time of impact, unreal. I never went back, nor will go back. The damage has yet to be paid for. Lucky for David, I have a video of him taking me into his office trying to bribe me into free service to brush it under the rug, he would be so lucky if I dont upload that video onto youtube. Do yourself a favor, STEER CLEAR of this Pep Boys. All they do is lie, damage your vehicle and try and sell you services you dont need. Im no city boy, I grew up working on larger vehicles and know my way around a mechanic shop, to try and tell me some of the things they said my truck needed, was below me. My truck needed none of those things and I confirmed it with a professional custom diesel shop. Not sure which high school graduation Pep Boys District manager was at that he found David and said Hey, youre my new shop manager in Holly Hill! David is something else. The only thing he is good at, is excuses and lies, thats it. Steer clear of this shop and avoid the damage and hastle to your vehicle.

Please be careful of this place. I had a screw in my tire and went there to fix a flat. The advisor wants to sell me new tires , he says tread pattern was low and if I was rotating my tires regularly.My tires had 30k miles and is a 2018.Its a good thing I found Stevens auto down the road. He probably Would have sold my wife a new car if she had stopped by. Talk about an up sell.

I just had to tell you about the excellent experience I had at Pep Boys .My tire needed a new stem put on it I called around the first place I called was $20 second place I called wanted $12. Next place wanted $15 then I called Pep Boys they charged a quarter of a price that these other people are charging . He said if I could bring it in right now that they werent busy .So I headed right on over there .I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door . He took the tireI walked into the waiting room and in less than 10 minutes he was right there.Ill tell you what Ill be going back there just just because of the reasonable price and very nice and pleasant staff members in mechanics very clean place

Absolutely, hands down the best experience ever! Took my car in this morning, oil change, 4 tires and an alignment.... I feel like I am driving a new car! The guys that work there were the most pleasant crew! Thanks for everything..... I can drive/move to Clearwater Fl, knowing my car is in tip top shape 😁 one more thing, what I also liked was their website, so knew prior to going that the tires I wanted were at this location 👍🏻

Dean was very friendly and professional.. he and his fellow worker changed my oil with a tire rotation in a very timely fashion. I will be back here for future oil changes.

Imagine being on vacation and having the check engine light come on, then start flashing and dinging! Many mechanics would take advantage of you in this situation, but not this location. Buffalo, their master technician, was extremely friendly and helpful, explained clearly what was wrong, and worked to fix it as quickly and efficiently as possible to keep labor costs down. I promised that if Im ever in the area again, Ill stop by to say, hi...next time in my more reliable car!

Levi & Luis were very professional and knowledgeable. They fixed my car in less then 6 hrs and returned to me the same day. Great customer service. They knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it.

I went to Pep Boys in Holly Hill, Fl because my brake light was out. Very helpful and fun bunch that did a great job. Going back home to NC tomorrow so went back today for an oil change before leaving. Everybody there is very friendly, helpful, and gets the job done. Chris Bohnsack is awesome! He really has a wonderful ability to take care of his customers! He goes above and beyond! When he realized we would be there longer than we figured, he actually offered to take us home to let our dog out if needed! Small town treatment in the city! We will definitely return! The customer service here is great. They are reasonable prices and the mechanics are great! They are always looking for the customers smile. My car runs ten times better since taking it to them. I highly recommend them to my friends!

Not very good went there to get an alignment after new front end and brand new tires they told me they aligned my truck charged me $85 and it still drags me all over the road they told me to come back theyll do it again my new brakes were the problem never heard new brakes being a problem they just dont want to admit theyre incompetent and cant align a vehicle the man did not send her the wheel so when he drove down the road with the wheel centered naturally is not going to go right but the machine said it was right they stink dont waste your time and money theyll do the job and confidently incompetently and blame you or your truck for their failure yet keep your money wouldnt go there if it was the last place on Earth

I had an emergency! I Needed 2 new tires with only a few hours to do it! I had no luck searching. I brought my truck to Julie at Just Brakes. Not only did she take on my burden of hunting down the correct tires, she made it priority and got it done in amazing time! Polite and courteous, I didnt have to worry about a thing. I would definitely recommend the service here, and I will be a returning customer myself!

Great guys, good sense of humour and good service. Did try to up sell a little but didnt push too much so wasnt unpleasant. They even had free cookies today but that probably wont be there every time. Great experience and if back in Daytona Beach while defiantly get an oil change here again.

These guys are so friendly and helped me out on the fly with my flat tire! I made a 6:00 PM appointment for an oil change at the Ridgewood Ave. Shop.I came 5 minuets early because I work until 5:30 PM and this is a convenient place to bring my truck. When I arrived and parked my truck, a car from Texas screams in and the guy literally runs inside to cut in front of me. I didn’t worry about it because I had an appointment.To my amazingment the service guy signed the Texas people up then told me I would have to wait an hour because the Texas vehicle had 8 quarts of oil and they only had one mechanic.When I asked what good it is to have an appointment he said he would go help the one mechanic and maybe it would only be 45 minutes.If you don’t have the skills to keep an appointment, how are you going to work on my truck??Taking visitors in front of locals who made an appointment to get their truck fixed after work isn’t smart in a small town like Holly Hill.They could have come in anytime. Another business snubs locals for a dollar.Save a lot of frustration and stay away from this place!UPDATE: Do you really need more details than this?? Holy Cow

Dean and the team got my vehicle in quickly, and got the parts secured ASAP. It wasnt more than 20 minutes by the time my problem (warped rotor) was diagnosed and all the components were ordered. Dean even sent a tech to his supplier to pick the part up personally to make sure I was on the road. Got my car in at 12, drove it off the lot at 4. Cant ask for more!

Will for sure make this my regular service shop! Came in today cause my tire was flat and I couldn’t get air in the tire. Turns out I’m bad at putting air in tires... but I also had a small leak that they sealed off for free! No parts necessary so they wouldn’t charge me. And they were really nice no rude or funny comments even tho what I did was pretty embarrassing lol. Super awesome and will definitely return.

Its now Pep Boys and the new manager Eric is freaking amazing. Hell take good care of you and your car! I refuse to go anywhere else now.

I came to this PepBoys because I needed a tire fixed.The gentleman at the counter received me and everyone else who walked in with kindness and genuine Southern warmth.The job was done promptly, and I was shocked when the manager said there was no charge.I was quite happy to give the mechanic agood tip.If I lived in the area, this would likely be my regular service shop. Kudos to a crew that still understands and upholds great customer service!

I recently went to get my oil changed, tire plugged and brake light/turn signal fixed. I went early in the morning to set an appointment for that afternoon. At first the gentleman I spoke with seemed nice. Then when I told him what I wanted done the whole attitude changed. He spoke to me in a way that was very disrespectful. It seemed as tho he thought that just because I was a female that I didnt know anything about cars. He said, If your tire is fixable we can take care of it. I proceeded to tell him that my tire was fixable. He replies back with an attitude and ask me how I know its fixable, he then points to a tire and puts his fingers on both sides of the tread and says (with attitude) so its in between here. I would not have had a problem with ANY of this except for the way he spoke to me. So they then proceed to tell me that they will NOT fix my tire because it is too close to the tread. I worked at an auto shop for 6 yrs. I am aware of the rule of thumb. There should have been no reason for them to not repair my tire. Now I feel like they are just trying to prove a point. Then the same gentleman tells me, again VERY rudely, that I need ALL 4 tires replaced IMMEDIATELY. The 2 on the rear are only 6 months old, the front ones do have a slight ware to them due to my alignment being off. But my tires absolutely did not need to be replaced IMMEDIATELY. My service is now complete and I am about to leave. I decide to check my lights to make sure they are working properly. I am glad I did because my brake/turn signal bulb that I had already paid for to get replaced, did NOT get replaced. I will absolutely NEVER go back to this establishment. The guy that worked on my car was as nice as could be and was very apologetic about my bulb. EVERYONE else was completely rude and I felt like I was being discriminated against just simply for being a female. My service was done on 8/2/2018.

Julie who runs the shop is extremely professional and very knowledgeable, I wont hesitate to go for all my car needs, they do it all not just brakes. The price was very competitive and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Finally a mechanic I can trust!!!

Great service. Was able to call ahead of time and have parts ready at drop off. Friendly, funny, and went above and beyond for my vehicle.

Came in thinking I would only need a tire alignment after clipping a barrier wall. Turns out it was more extensive as there was rim damage and I would need a new tire. Wayne recommended a couple of collision repair shops and didn’t charge me anything. Felt like I was the right treatment and would go back if I need any work from them.

Every time I go to pep boys. They are friendly and kind. Make me laugh. Make me feel comfortable i go to them for all my car repairs and my oil changes. And will continue to frequent them.

We had a problem with our brakes... On a Sunday!! Just Brakes was able to get us in right away, and get us out quickly, We especially loved that they took the car out to diagnose the problem, then brought us into the bay to show us what needed to be done. Just brakes is fast, affordable and they are very helpful. The manger went out of her way to ask if I was noticing anything strange about the car and even printed out the factory recalls on my car so I could address the problem at the dealership .

The staff here is seriously lacking in customer service. Called on two separate occasions to have tires put on my car. Clearly dated I had four tires which had been purchased almost new and was quoted a price of $95 to have them mounted and balanced. Two separate times if I’m being redundant. Scheduled an appointment, had my car towed to the shop where I was promptly refused the service. Then one particular worker felt it necessary to walk over and show me what a “new” tire looked like. Seriously?! After speaking with their DM, or the person who claimed to be the DM, I was informed that the gentleman who had spoken to me was only a GST and shouldn’t be answering the phones. Well he did answer not once but twice. Heath who claims to run the shop definitely lacks people skills, as do the others. Will definitely not be using their services ever again, and until the staff is properly trained, especially with who is supposed to answer phones and quote and schedule services I will fore warn others to look elsewhere. Suffice it to say I did and within an hour had my service done and for less cost with much friendlier staff elsewhere. Should have known better when they damaged my brothers truck a couple months ago just driving out of the bay!!!

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I called to see about fixing a tire. They said they could plug it. When I arrived there, they were rude, and couldnt be bothered. Was told they could not do anything. I went next door and was fixed in minutes. Will never come to pep jerks aga!n!!!

I called and got an estimate for brakes. It was a good estimate so I went to get my my brakes done. When they began the job the manager came in and told me it would take more labor to do the job but they would do it for the quoted price. About 30 min later they came in and told me it would be $105.00 more,at this time my car was in pieces. I explained that I was on disability and could only afford the quoted price, I was told they would hold my car untill I could pay. The manager then walked off, when I followed her into the office about 10 min later she had left for the day, leaving an uninformed assistant manager behind. The assistant manager, Eric came in I explained the situation to him he called and got authorization to charge the estimated amount. Both the assistant manager and the tech were very polite and did all they could to fix the situation for me. How ever the manager of this place is a real piece of work.

Just beware of the repairs they say you need I took my BMW theee because I called and said the price was 149 for back brake pads After the inspection they said I need 2 rotors for a total of 518 dollars long story short took. my car to an authorized BMW repair brakes pads done and rotors were fine total cost 175
