I bought a car from Elhart, the transmission went bad 3 months later. I called Elhart and they referred me to a guy named George, who works in the used sales department, he called me in less than 24 hours, he was friendly and made me comfortable right away! He told me had a place to send my transmission to get fixed free of charge . Not only does it run perfect, I have a 2 year warranty! Elhart truly lives up their slogan. Elhart cares! Elhart is nice! Thank you again George! I will be definitely recommending you all!

Everyone was friendly and helpful, no exceptions. I appreciated that when I had a key made, they were honest in stating it wasnt to qualifications, there was no second key available, and so refunded the cost. I have two questions. (1) I am still waiting for the touch up paint which I ordered, and paid for. (2) Since that day, I have been unable to use my dash system. My mileage is calibrated not in miles, so Im not sure what speed Im going. I cant access my dash information (directions and mileage). I assume this will be rectified without further expense??

We are so happy with the customer service and experience we had at Elhart! From the moment that my husband reached out to Junior asking about our truck, he was so helpful. He was extremely easy to communicate with and responded to all of our questions and concerns in a timely matter. He wasn’t pushy but provided us with all the information we needed to make our decision on purchasing. Once we decided we would be buying, Caryn helped us with financing. We had an evening appointment to sign for our new truck and I decided to be that difficult customer that wanted to change the financing at the last minute, but it was after hours so I wasn’t sure that we would be able to get everything re-approved or if we would be able to take the truck home. I was worried for nothing, Caryn was absolutely amazing! She worked her magic, and we were able to leave with our new truck! Junior and Caryn are a dream team! We are so happy with our new truck! From the start of the process the test drive. To getting our money straightened out. Which took us a couple of weeks. We were absolutely treated like family all the way thru to picking up our truck.We even got a free loaner car for the day so we could get our truck ceramic coated and protected from the harsh Michigan weather.I really wasnt expecting the awesome experience we received at the dealership. I contacted Junior about a vehicle that I liked that was at the dealership that he worked at. First thing he told me to do was come in and take it for a test drive. When I came in he had it right up front waiting for me with the tank filled up and ready to go! He respected my interest in the vehicle I liked and didn’t try to convince me into a more expensive one as other salesman at other dealerships had in the past. Communication with Junior was very easy and being as busy as he always is, he was always quick to responding back to me. I later was introduced to Caryn and felt as if I’ve known her for years as she was very genuine. Junior and Caryn really went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. Friendly yet very professional. They made this the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I would definitely go back to Elhart as well as recommended it to those in need of a vehicle.

Ive never had a more pleasant experience purchasing a new car! Called about a Hyundai Palisade on Monday and was told theyd contact me when it arrived on the truck. Thursday morning my salesperson Ben texted me and said the car had arrived and would be cleaned and detailed and ready by the end of the day. He asked when wed like to come a sign papers. Friday morning he met us at 9am to go over the car bells and whistles and then proceeded to take us to finance manager Caryn for all the signatures etc. The two of them deserve huge kudos for going above and beyond to make this purchase so effortless and efficient. I called Elhart Automotive to get my wifes 2016 Genesis serviced which we purchased from Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson MI. I was asked by your operator if we purchased the vehicle at Elhart and I told her we did not. She promptly told me that they could not service our vehicle because it was not purchased at Elhart. I called back several hours later and the call was answered by Belinda Kammeraad. I explained to her what transpired on my initial call to Elhart and she apologized profusely and set up an appointment for service. I shared with her our desire to purchase a new Genesis SUV sometime in the near future so she set up a time to meet with Ben Marietta the same day our Genesis was scheduled for service. We cant say enough how we appreciated all the help we received from the employees at Elhart, from the service manager, Dave, Belinda, our sales consultant Ben Marietta, who was very professional, polite and friendly, and Brad Holwerda. I went for an oil change & for the 2nd time the service department forgot to replace my oil cap. Both times I had to pull over because my car was smoking & oil was everywhere. The car had to be picked up by a flatbed & returned to the service department to make sure my engine did not cease up.They also tried to say that it happens sometimes because my engine has to much power. We have personally removed & returned to the oil cap countless times and we have never had the oil cap pop off.Also it took 5 months & multiple times of bring our car back to the service department to figure our why & where our car was leaking coolant & oil.Everytime we brought it in they could not diagnose it so sent my wife home with a leaking vehicle.The only reason weve brought back is because we purchased a service plan when we purchased the vehicle from your dealership.

Every time I get my oil change, or get my moms oil changed, they give the car a good inspection and let me know what to look for in the future. I used to just buy junker cars and run them into the ground. After going to a couple other dealerships, this past week I decided to try out Elhart, as my mom and sister both have gone through them for their vehicles. More specifically, they have gone through Salesman Junior de la Rosa.We had messaged the day before I went to Elhart about what exactly I was looking for in a vehicle (make, model, features, etc.) and as soon as I arrived, he brought me to the vehicle he found that checked all the boxes, handed me the keys and said “go take it for a drive.” I was shocked with how persistent and on top of it he was without much in-person communication.He knew from the start that it was the car for me, and he was completely right. Amongst all the weeks of car shopping I did, I had not felt that need to buy it right then as I did in this moment. My mother had been telling me from the get go to look at Elhart and have Junior as your salesman, and she was not wrong.Thanks to Junior at Elhart, I now feel hopeful and accomplished, and I cannot wait to continue working with him in the future!!

Elhart sent me an email and asked me for this review. I seldom complete surveys or reviews. After 55 years of driving, and with more than 30 of those years in the retail automotive business, both twisting wrenches and managing sales departments, this store is a new low. I bought my 2019 G70 there, and it was an enjoyable experience. They were car guys and treated me with professional courtesy. My service visit on 8.19.21 was my first -- and last.Their Genesis-certified technician overfilled my engine crankcase by one quart. How is this possible? I have never known nor seen another mechanic who did not check the dipstick after changing the oil and filter and running the engine. Dave, the service manager, said it would be, Out of character, for his man to do that. I assured him I have the oil that I syphoned out through the dipstick tube. He questioned my ability to properly check oil, asked if I was parked on a level surface. Line A from their invoice no. 39462: DID NOT INSPECT BRAKES BECAUSE WHEELS WERE NOT REMOVED (all caps theirs). My son asked if this was a joke. I said it was not. It did not concern Dave the Service Manager. He implied I was to blame because I asked them not to rotate the tires. Dave said they probably should have called me to clarify, but they did not. In the two years I have owned this G70 the only request I have ever made of Elhart Genesis of Holland is to please adjust the drivers door. It is out of alignment and requires the door to be closed harder than normal. Line F: VERIFIED NORMAL OPERATION OF THE DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING. I am paying Lake Area Collision in Walloon Lake, MI, to adjust it. Mike, the manager there, took one look at it with me, saw the problem, and assured me they can adjust it. The only unpleasant noise my Genesis makes is a slight rattle when closing the drivers door with the window down. Line G: THE NOISE IS THE GLASS AS IT IS INSIDE THE DOOR. THIS IS NORMAL AND SOUNDS JUST LIKE ALL OTHER G70S AND IS NOT A CONCERN. Not much concerns these guys. Line H: TORQUED WHEELS TO 90 FT-LBS. No, he didnt. That this Genesis-certified technician does not know that clicking a torque wrench set on 90 does not magically loosen that bolt which is torqued to 110 ft-lbs. should concern the management at Elhart. It does not. And they call this their Service Department.

I recently traded in my 2016 Dodge Charger Scatpack for a 2020 BMW X3 M40i at Elhart Hyundai. The whole experience was smooth except for a couple of glitches. Since I was driving from out of town, I made the deal with Conrad over the phone who was very patient and a good salesman. When I got to Elhart with my wife, the car was polished and ready to go. The whole process of trade-in and signing the deal took around 2 hours from start to finish. The only issue was that since the dealership was busy we couldnt get out receipt on the day and it had to be mailed to us which took 10 days due to some reason. Also, the dealer installed heated seats for us in the BMW (yes, for some reason BMW thinks it is not a necessity in Michigan). Due to the heated seats, the cars seat-belt sensor now thinks there is always a passenger sitting and starts complaining. Except for this issue I have no other complaints and would recommend Conrad to anyone who is looking to buy a car.

Discouraged to understand you are no longer doing business on Saturdays.I asked if while my vehicle was in for service, could the check engine light that was on be diagnosed to see what code it was showing. I was told that you didnt have time for that.Also while in the waiting room, I witnessed a sales staff member speaking with a couple about a replacing their vehicle with a new purchase. The employees cell phone rang, and he asked the customers to excuse him as he was waiting for this call. He returned several minutes later to explain that this call was a sale that he was waiting on. Seriously?!?!?!I witnessed him not only loose the potential business, but worse yet, insult the customers.It is very apparent that the days of wonderful and welcoming customer service at Elhart have been lost as new management has replaced the senior members. Really too bad, as this was a business that I looked forward to spending time and money with. I will not be returning.

I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars!!!!When I first bought my car from a friend at church that worked there. I didnt get my vehicle for almost a month. I made my first payment before I saw the vehicle...even when I did finally get it, they didnt check the electronics on it and the doors and trunk wouldnt open unless the car was on.....because they run off the computers!!!!! After calling them over a dozen times and finally getting ahold of someone they said theyd look at it. I called the GM who was super nice about everything thankfully. They put me in a rental and sent me off in it. They replaced a computer and told me they wouldnt cover it at all even though they didnt even check it. I called the GM, who called me back later that day, and said that the computer was replaced but the lift gate wasnt working (the trunk door!!!!) They were on with nissan support supposedly trying to figure it out.....havent heard from them since. I have had my car in for 3 weeks, he called me 2 weeks ago. I called and got no one (again), and the GM isnt there. But just know Im gonna call everyday until I figure out why they are so terrible at their job.

They did a great job with the oil change. I had asked when making the appointments to have my hole front end looked at. It is making nose and i know something is going out if not out. They did not charge for looking at it but only did a vary quick look and said it was in the steering system. But if put in four wheel drive it will pop and grind. Not happy with how little they looked it over. Now i will need to take it somewhere else to have it looked at and worked on. Did and good job with oil change. But not good at looking into problems for me.

Valet driver brought in my Genesis G70 for an oil change and to swap out my Winter wheels for Summer wheels. I get a call from the valet, that she was driving my car back from the work being completed, and the wheel came off. I got no call from the service manager with any explanation. The following week, still no call from Elkhart on what is going on, and still dont have a car. I call the service department and get a voicemail. I call back in and demand to be transfered to the manager, I get his voicemail. Never get a call back from the manger after leaving a message. A full week later, I get a call from the Service manager, no apology, he says they ordered me a new rim and it would be in, in a few weeks. Two weeks go by, I get a call from the valet that she is on the way (no warning) she brings my car back with no invoice on what work was completed. I dont plan on buying another Genesis (love the car), if I have to get it from Elkhart.

Sales process - great. Car rental - great. Body shop - good. Service - will not be going back. Wife dropped off new Nissan for 3rd oil change service. Service used wrong weight oil vs what Nissan mandates for warranty, & worst of all tried padding her bill by adding some BS Pro-1 oil additive for $12 that Nissan specifically recommends NOT using. Who in 2020 uses oil supplements??? Did not rotate tires as requested on first two visits. I will go back for sales & rentals, and likely body shop, but certainly not service. Mistakes are understandable, padding a bill is not.

Elkhart, put a brand new motor in my vehicle, the were able to save me thousands of dollars. They were able to get Hyundai to cover my motor and car rental. Horrible experience start to finish. Set an appointment online and when I showed up they said I wasn’t in their system? Had received a confirmation email and text from them prior to my arrival. Appt at 11am and car wasn’t serviced and ready for me to drive until at 4pm. Next time I am going spend my money at a local shop instead of throwing away time and money at Nissans Service shop! Well since customer relations hasn’t reached out and decided to just delete my review I’m going to post it here instead. I will be posting a YouTube video as well.I highly recommend that you stay away from their collision center. They billed my insurance company for work they never performed and I have proof of this because I had another collision center reinspect my vehicle because there was some structural issues with it. We picked up our vehicle the beginning of July 2020 for the second time or second go around.When you bill an insurance company and you don’t perform the work in my opinion that is considered fraud.I am in the process of filing a claim with the Michigan licensing affairs because I’m going to make sure this does not happen to another person.My vehicle has been there three times. I shouldn’t have to bring it back a fourth time. I don’t need photos when you can physically see the problems. I told them I did not need photos because they are supposed to be the collision experts!

After my car was totaled it was time to look for another one. I stopped by Elhart on my lunch break and met KC who helped me gather some info on the Hyundai Tucson. They didn’t have the trim I was looking for in the color I wanted so I ended up going to another dealer in GR to see what they had and test drive the cars. Not only did I realize I liked a different trim, but I also realized how down to earth the sales people (especially KC) were at Elhart. The other dealer made me feel like I was just another sale and Elhart made the process so easy and I could tell they wanted to help. I highly recommend!!

Was looking to buy a Yukon XL and at first it was good. Then when it came down to talking price they won’t even respond. There’s no negotiation. They will treat you poorly if you do not want to pay sticker price.Way to treat your customer like they’re not even a thought by not even sending a text/phone call back. Will go to the many competitors around them willing to work with us. Troy was our salesman.Sorry to bother you with our business.

I don’t even know where to start. Junior and Caryn have been amazing in getting both of our young adult children into vehicles. They have made the experience for them both a great one. Junior is an Awesome communicator! Always responding to messages quickly and timely. He has taken away the stress of buying a car. Definitely making the process go smoothly. Caryn in financing is also amazing making the signing process super easy. These two make an awesome team throughout the entire process. Both go the extra mile everytime, for which I am truly thankful! We will definitely be going to them and Elhart for many more years to come. Our family will be Elhart customers for life. I contacted GMC service about transmission issues I was having with my truck, a 2016 Sierra 1500. After talking with the service advisor, my truck was dropped off on a tow truck. It was diagnosed as I expected within a couple days. I purchased the extended service plan when I purchased the truck, and it paid for itself in this one visit. The vehicle was not purchased from Elhart. However, with this being the first claim on this contract/vehicle, the warranty company sent out an inspector to verify the concern before the claim was approved which took a couple extra days. Once the claim was approved, I was immediately set up with a rental car which was 100% covered by the service contract.Overall, Im very satisfied with the work completed and the contact every step of the way from the service advisor (John Shannon) and the body shop/rental car rep (Brittany). The communication between departments and myself was great with a lot of hands involved. The only downside, to me, is the lengthy process involved when using an extended service plan. But, comparing the cost out of pocket with the cost using the service plan, its well worth the money to me.

I decided to give Elhart of Holland a try after my brother had a great experience there. He recommended I talk to Junior De La Rosa. JR got a hold of me via text to set up a time to see the truck I wanted...within minutes of expressing interest! On the day we set up a time to speak, he sent me pictures of the vehicle with a red carpet lined up for me to get into the drivers seat!Great communication...far beyond what I was expecting. He and the team there are very customer focused, and will do what is right to get your business. From Junior to Caryn from finance...it was a GREAT experience!!! Ben M. did a great job listening to what our focus and priorities were and then providing several options to us. He worked great with coordinating with my wife to review the car, educate her on all the options and functions, and then no pressure answered all her questions.With myself he heard what I wanted for us, the options we wanted. He lined this up and provided a couple great options on site with a great selection. Well informed on all features and options.
