I would highly recommend Arbor Works for any tree service. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very kind. I had several questions about trees and other plants in my yard and they took the time to answer all of them. I requested them to do some extra stump grinding to tackle some large roots, and they took care of it perfectly. They are extremely polite. And their prices are very reasonable! Wow is all I can say! We had several trees trimmed and a large Austrian Pine removed. The pine was right next to the house so we were nervous -- but didnt need to be. The crew took the tree down in pieces to protect the house. They were extremely professional, efficient, and cleaned up the yard when they were done. We have tried several tree trimming companies, this is by far the best. The price was right in the ballpark of other quotes and extremely fair. We recommend Arbor Works to anyone who needs help with their trees. We will definitely be using them again.

HIGHLY recommend! So professional - Loren took a long time with us to talk through what we needed even when we werent happy to have to remove some trees. Jimmy and his crew were here on time, asked lots of questions to be sure he understood what we wanted, explained what they were doing and why and they CLEANED up everything! My trees were neglected for years and they are all happy and beautiful now! Great price for the services. I am beyond thrilled with this team!

Just had some trees in my front yard pruned including a HUGE cottonwood that was in need of serious help. They look terrific! These guys really know what they are doing. It was a big job. Estimate was free, done quickly and fairly. They came to do the work soon after, did a great job and left everything really clean. It was a simple procedure and didnt require much of my time at all. Great company to work with!

I dont usually take time to write reviews but these guys deserve special accolades. From the bid through project completion Arbor Works has been nothing but professional. I have had crews out twice to cut down small groves of trees and to do stump grinding. The crews were respectful of my property and took great care to do their best. I will absolutely call Arbor Works for all of my tree needs in the future.

We contacted Arbor Works for tree removal (nine large pine trees), stump removal and pruning. They were great! We are very happy with their service. My fiancé was in contact with Loren on our project. Loren was knowledgeable, professional and communicated clearly about what to expect. The crew was on time and the work was completed in the time frame estimated. Our yard was in perfect condition after they had left. We quoted the same job with others and their bid came in the lowest. They have great customer service. We will be contacting them for future jobs. Highly recommend!

We have a tree that needed to be groomed as well as some shrubs. They seemed to be quite knowledgeable and finished quickly with a 3 man crew. They referred us to another company that could do the spraying that was needed. They were cleaning the debris as they went. It was worthwhile experience.

We needed quite a bit of tree and hedge work done as we are going to be putting our house up for sale and want it to look nice. The people who came were very helpful and easy to work with, In retrospect, they probably werent aggressive enough in pruning things back, but since we wanted the property to look good for potential sale, they probably did the right amount--things dont look good if they are chopped way back--so they did what we asked for. Well be happy to have them come again in the future here or at a new home.

I worked with Loren and his crew last year to prune and fertilize several trees, bushes, and vines. I found Loren to be very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous, as was his crew. All the work was done in a timely manner, including yard cleanup. My trees, shrubs, and vines all responded wonderfully to the organic fertilization, especially an sickly honeysuckle vine that I was worried would die. I have recently contacted Loren to come back and do some more tree work and fertilization this spring and assess any problem areas that might need his expertise. I highly recommend doing business with this company.

Loren was very helpful and quoted me a reasonable price for removing my tree. The young men he sent did a very good job and removed the resulting debris cheerfully. They were courteous about explaining what they were doing.

I was away from home and had two trees I wanted pruned. Loren came while I was away and called me, told me how many cuts he needed to make, and gave me a bid right then. He said he could do the work right then, so I agreed. I came home to find my trees pruned beautifully, everything cleaned up and then he made a follow up call that evening to see if I had any questions. I was very impressed.

Loren, Chris and the entire crew are absolute professionals. We needed a large pine tree removed from our backyard and it was not an easy job. Neighbors garage next door, power lines, phone lines - all conspired to make this a tricky job. The crew arrived right on time and completed the job quickly, professionally and did a great cleanup too. I highly recommend these guys - they care about the environment and about their customers. Working with Arbor Works has been one of the most eye opening experiences Ive had! Who could have guessed that SO much knowledge and attention to detail has to go into cutting, trimming or removing a tree, shrub, etc! The PASSION these men have for what they do is bar-none, the greatest in the industry. Im so glad to work with them.

We worked with Chris and Loren at Arbor Works to remove some very large elm trees from our back yard. They did a great job quickly and cleanly!Pros: Very prompt(!) with getting the bid and scheduling the work, excellent communication throughout the process, they worked with us to get a competitive final estimate, they were willing to work around our schedules, and they cleaned after the tree removal beautifully. Finally, there was no damage to the grass lawn, surrounding fences, or nearby trees despite the large scale of the work was done.Cons: accidentally knocked down the cable internet line--which was actually not bad when you consider the spiderweb of lines and cables crossing the air space of our back yard. Chris let me know by phone and text and followed up with me the next day.

Arbor works is by far the most ecologically knowledgeable service out there and Ive had interactions with most. They go out of their way to serve not only their customers but their entire community. They aid in the growth of community gardens and have an excellent knowledge base. I love these guys!!!

We worked with Loren to get several trees trimmed and two removed. We were very pleased with all the work that he did and he seemed to know about lot about trees. His original price was quite a bit higher than our other quotes, but we negotiated to a better price. It was still higher,but he was very knowledgeable about the right way to trim the trees. He seemed like he cared a lot about the welfare of the trees and helped direct us towards other resources to keep them healthy. We were not happy with one of the trees that he did for us, but it was not the work as much as a difficult tree that was never going to look great. He gave us a great price when we elected to go ahead and remove that tree instead. We would use them again and plan to talk to him about what new, different trees might be the best option in our front year.

These guys were so great to work with. They came on time, worked quickly, removed two very tall trees with electric lines all around, and cleaned up so well you couldnt even tell they had been there. They trimmed up two other trees

Seemed like prices were high for the work performed. Made some obvious errors in their pruning. Workers smoked a lot while on the job. Could not get them to return the second year to take up where they left off. We went with another service and are happier.

As a rule, I dont write reviews. Arbor Works did such a fantastic job pruning the trees on our property that Ive made an exception. Several years ago we used another company to trim our London Plane trees, and they butchered them. Arbor Works re-pruned them and positioned the trees to grow back into their natural and appropriate shape. They also trimmed several other trees that were in need of various degrees of pruning and thinned out a naturalized area behind our home that had become overgrown. The 6-man crew was fantastic. They explained everything they were doing, did a phenomenal job, removed all of the debris, and left our property virtually spotless. Loren helped us prep the bed under our trees and left us with a complete understanding of how to ensure our trees stay healthy ongoing. Arbor Works is a pleasure to work with and wed recommend them to anyone in need of tree service.

These people are both dishonest and have poor communication. They told me that when they were going to remove the stumps that the ground would be flat, clear and ready to put down sod. In stead there were piles of dirt and saw dust on half of my lawn. I was even told I would be called before the guy came over and that did not happen. When I talked to them they said they were right and I was wrong. But I know what I heard when I asked the specific question. The salesman Loren is a bully who treats people like they are stupid. I would never in a million years recommend this company. I would not even give them one star if the system would allow it. Buyer beware.

They did not show for an estimate. They called and asked me to text them pictures of my tree instead. After I arranged my plans to be home for them to give me an estimate, I thought this was a very tacky excuse for an estimate. 24 hours later I still have no estimate. Also, they were a week out for estimates, so if they were just going to ask me to text them pictures I would have sent them a picture the day I called and then I could have already been in their schedule. Poor planning. Will be looking elsewhere.

Loren removed a wounded skyrocket juniper and cleaned out the dead wood on two other trees. He was quick and tidy, and explained clearly what he was doing. Ill call him again.

Never responded to my phone calls or site forms for bids. Its been over a week. If they cant call you back, why bother with this company.UPDATE: I was contacted about my initial review (1 star) and it appears that they attempted to contact me about the bid but could not get a hold of me. The phone # I provided was incorrect. They were sorry for the misunderstanding and I am very appreciative that they contacted me and told me what had happened. Great customer service and Ill go with them the next time I need tree services.

Extremely knowledgeable arborists who really know the proper care of trees and how to maintain their health. Ive worked with them for 3 years now and would definitely use them whenever needed.

Arbor Works provide the best tree service in Salt Lake City, UT and especially in Holladay, UT! They do everything perfect: tree trimming, removal, stump removal, everything, I highly recommend them for a good arborist!
