An incredible place! After seeing “Navarro Cheer” on Netflixs my 6 year old daughter was dying to try cheer herself. She could do a cartwheel but really had no experience; no dance or gymnastics. We have been at Gravity a year now she can do a round off into 7 connected back hand springs. It’s completely incredible to me. She has just thrived and taken off thanks to the warm and loving coaches. My 3 year old also cheers now too. They baby team is completely adorable- there is practically a coach for every baby as the older teen girls love to assist the team. Most importantly my child’s self confidence has soared. She has made best friends with incredible girls, they are like sisters.I see comments about the cost. Yes, cheer is unfortunately expensive like any competitive sport children participate in. The cost is considerably less then comparable cheer gyms in the area. Unlike dance the girls wear 1 costume for every event and keep it until they outgrow it- and then you can sell it to a smaller girl. There are ways to cut some costs for sure. Plenty of parents spend a fortune on private classes every week- while they are an amazing opportunity they aren’t necessary. My child hardly does privates and her progress has been incredible.
Really did not feel welcomed here. when i would go to drop my four year old off for a class no one would acknowledge i even entered the lobby and they expected me to just leave her in a busy lobby without anyone properly taking her from me, the girls at the front desk seemed bothered that i was there. and on top of it i had no idea what she was even doing because there was no way to watch her and make sure she was ok and no one said a word to me when i picked her up. not great, only did one session. definitely not little kid friendly.
This place is terrible. I have paid so much moneys and I do not get to give my daughter all of her classes because for one week we had to fly to Florida for a family manner and the next week she had an important ceremony at her school for her honor society that was mandatory. These losers did not feel any sympathy for me and my hardworking amazing gorgeous children. They deserve makeup classes which gravity is not willing to give ever. Bad coaches waste so much limited class time and my girls have not progresssed due to their poor trenching skills. They favor the kids they have known since they were younger and that is so unfair. Classes are too overpriced.
My experience with gravity was awful. While the coaches are supposed to be coaching they are instead socializing with their friends. They only pay attention to team girls and ignore the other girls who need help. Everyone there is so unwelcoming and quite frankly rude. My daughter is a level 3 and while warming up, she messed up one back handspring. Their “coach” immediately moved my 12 year old daughter to a class with 8-9 year olds. My daughter and I are so upset to have wasted time at this “gym”. not recommended we are never coming back!
They take the time to get to know your athlete and work with their strengths! Love that theyre going above and beyond the NYS protocols for Covid during these crazy times.
There the best
I love this gym ! And so does my daughter who looks forward to coming to practice and classes.. everyone is welcoming ! I highly recommend Gravity to anyone looking for an amazing cheer gym!
My daughter started tumbling here a few years ago, has been on prep team here and full year for two seasons now. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else. Reception is the best, informative and helpful and the coaches are amazing!
Best cheer gym around ! Pleasant staff! Amazing coaches!
Awesome!!!
