We heard good reviews about Billy Doe Mutton and Chicken at Buffalo Grove Farmer’s market and decided to try it out. We have bought chicken and mutton from multiple stores in the neighborhood but these were hands down the best!! The vendor at the market was also very friendly. Would highly recommend!

I decided to stop in as I was in the area and saw great reviews. I walked in to what looked like an office, no storefront, boxes and packages scattered through out the area. The office was very dark and a bit spooky. There was nobody there. I yelled hello several times without a response. Their website claims that you can purchase from them at their location however I find that to be not true. Im a bit bummed out because I did want to try their meats.

I got some beautiful pieces of meat from these *very* nice people. The flavor in the Goat Heart, and goat Liver were amazing. I eat them raw and they tasted very high quality. The products were wrapped in plastic so they kept perfectly and omg delicious. Thank you!

Just picked up my first batch of meat at the Wheaton French Market. First of all, great folks. Did not get names but were super nice and walked me through the questions I had. Picked up lamb ribs, goat loin, and goat and lamb burgers. Just finished the goat burger for lunch...amazing! Going to smoke the lamb ribs tomorrow. On my way back for more! Wait, what? I can only give 5 stars? Make it 6!

Excellent meat and wonderful service. They work with you to get you what you want with the highest quality ingredients.Highly recommend the spicy lamb sausages. I have them with hummus and pita, making for an excellent breakfast or lunch.Try out something new with regular lamb and goat meat!

Today was our second time purchasing meat from them at the Aurora’s Farmers Market and we can’t wait to buy from them again. They are wonderful people and their meat is high quality! Such a great experience.

Bought lamb steaks, beef liver and bone-in ribeye from these guys at the Elgin Farmer’s Market beginning of August. Fantastic, clean cuts of meat with great marbling, generous fat bands (I like my cuts with ample fat) and vacuum sealed to boot! Will be doing my business with Billydoe from here on out!
