Really a heart stopping memory for anyone for the first time. The most perfect Ferry Ride from Manhattan to Hoboken...can never tire of the views and what a lovely evening ! Who cares about aching calf and feet muscles after walking all that walking .

Much faster and nicer way to get to the City instead of taking Path. You can get your tickets online. The historic ferry terminal is nice - staff are helpful. Ferries come on time and in no time you are in NY, NY. The views the ferry offers are gorgeous. Must do for a first timer.

Beautiful old building with Tiffany glass, and ironwork. A nice little park next door with some great views of the New York skyline.

Not the most convenient or cheapest but certainly the most scenic. If youre willing to pony up $9 to get to the farthest-west side of Midtown then cram into a packed (but free) shuttle on a converted school bus and arrive at work a half hour later than on the PATH, then this is your way to work.

Hoboken terminal needs major rehabilitation work done. Nj transit plans to upgrade this terminal in the 5 year capital program, hopefully it gets done.

Best to order tickets electronically. Waited for the ticket kiosk to open and that was at 1015. Kind of wasted some precious time for my visit to New York but the views are great from the ferry.

Great way to get to Manhattan from Hoboken. Ferries go to Midtown and the Financial District.

Great way to commute to the city. Didnt see any vending machines for single tickets, had to buy at service window.

Love the transit but cut the attitude. Not sure why I pay a premium to have a couple of surly sailors greet me everyday....but the PATH smells bad

Ferry station is conveniently located near the bus station and the train station. The architecture of the ferry station is also very antique and memorable. Hope the area surrounding the station gets cleaned up a little more so the constructiin sites are no longer visible.

Wonderful; terminal rebuilt and operational. Great to look at and come through like I do from New York. Attached to Hoboken, NJ Transit and Path so very efficient fr continuing your trip in to New Jersey.

Fast and far nicer than the PATH, but super expensive

Ferry is a better alternative commuting to Wall Street or Midtown. Avoid the tunnels, tunnels are for rats. Humans travel oner land and over sea.

Signage is confusing as to which pier the ferry is leaving from.

Awesome,Nj to ny in ten minutes

I was travelling from Hoboken NJ terminal to Pier 11 stop of the New York Ferry.The only problem is I was here at 6.10 It was supposed to depart at 6.15 but it took of at 6.25It wa a winter evening and I was the only guy travelling in whole Ferry Ferry so I guess that could be one of the reason.

Best transportation services on the water

A Transportation Hub for New Jersey Transit and PATH station. Many buses also run in and out of this terminal going to New York and other locations within Northern New Jersey.

Thats jow we travel to shows in New York, free bus to theater but taxi back, hard to find buses later

Best way to get to Wall Street

It was the middle of the day. The terminal was dark. Im sure Waterway is trying to save money however the place would not feel deserted if there were more light.

The price is high, but its close to New York!Moreover, an exhilarating boat trip is the best.As long as I am happy to be able to board with my pet.

Beautiful station !!! It is close to a park from where you can see the Manhattan skyline from the opposite side of the classic Brooklyn. It can be reached both by ferry and by metro. I recommend going at sunset and see how the city lights up!
