My experience with Alisha the manager at U-haul was horrible. I’ve rented you boxes there for one year and then each time I’ve had to request to get in them has been a hassle. Usually the forklift is down or they don’t have an operator or not enough people working in the store… I’ve heard every reason why they can’t get my new box down and when I asked for a refund for that month the answer is always no. This last time with Alisha, who I had the displeasure of dealing for five days now and each day it gets worse.The first day she said she was all alone and couldn’t get my U boxes out until 2 PM. At 3 PM she calls and says that she deems it too dangerous to get down the U box because she doesn’t like her forklift. She says I’m going to have to wait until she gets her other forklift out of repair and it’s going to be a few days. I only had a few days until my month ran out and would have to pay again.The next day she gets my box down and calls me out of the blue at 3 PM and ask when am I going to be getting into my boxes they’ve been out for a while now. As soon as I get out of work I go to load up. On the second load, I drove up someone comes out and says are you ready for me to put those back in we’re about to close! This happens twice in a row and Today Alisha told me that she is giving me to the end of the day to get my stuff and then she’s not going to bring down the U box. When I asked to speak to a manager she just continued on her rant and I had to asked three times if I could just speak to a manager and finally she told me she was the manager. At that point I said why didn’t you just identify yourself as a manager when I asked five days ago?? If she would have I would’ve known then there was no hope in this place and stopped asking.She won’t let me talk or ask questions because she interrupts and keeps talking over me repeating she needs 24 hours or saying forklift problem-even though I’ve been working around their lack of help and lack of forklifts for five days. Then she said I’M giving you to the end of the day to get your stuff out and hung up on me!!!Do not rent here. Do not even come inside. I suggest eagle storage.

Uhaul should be Google’s opportunity to change course to allow zero stars.Buying and closing on a new home is such a joyful time DECIMATED ERADICATED OBLITERATED via multiple cancellations by our local branch, despite multiple confirmations. Any positive emotion we could have had has been stolen by this company and now we face hundreds in losses from movers and fees that under the assumption Uhaul could follow through with their own policies. If given the option to move again through this company, or have my elderly father carry the entirety of my belongings on his back while wearing no shoes I’d pick my father. At least he would be reliable. I have never been so disrespected and disappointed by a company in my life. If you want to make the biggest mistake you can when it comes to moving, choose Uhaul

I called Alesha to try to get a trailer hitch receiver installed and she was extremely helpful. I drove 2.5 hours to her location to purchase it and possibly get it installed (if time allowed). This was very last minute and Alesha and her staff were very polite, helpful and accommodating. They did a fantastic job with the install and helped me find the additional items I would need to pull a travel trailer. Excellent customer service, a cold water while I waited, and great attitudes all around.

I got charged for the 1st months rent when I shouldnt have. This happens quite often. So glad I wont need the unit for very long.

Only used the U-Haul to fill propane tanks. Always helpful and friendly service.

Bad. Booked trailer rental a month out and a day before pick up I’m told my pick up is in Carlsbad New Mexico which is over an hour drive 1 way. No discounts or anything given. Custom service was a joke and I will not be using uhaul again after this move.

Terrible service. Booked a truck two weeks in advance. Uhual called two days before the move to tell me the only truck they had for my date was a 10 foot truck (not the 20 foot I ordered) and I would have to pick up in Carlsbad or Artesia. And to top that, mileage and use would start in those two cities, not Hobbs. Agent told me that the reservation was to hold the price not the truck. WHAT?! What a JOKE! DO NOT USE UHUAL FOR YOUR MOVE. Only thing they are good for are their boxes. Not sure how anyone would make money on this business model.

If i could put 0 stars i would. Terrible service, Terrible management. Moving from a different state reserved a unit online called to confirm to make sure it was the correct unit and available the person I spoke with said it was. Show up to put my things in storage unit I reserved is not available. Manager tells me well I dont have that unit available this is what I have either take it or leave it. Now I am stuck trying to figure out what to do with the things I can not move into storage.

Awful customer service, THEY messed up my reservation and then blamed me because I requested a truck online. Their only solution was for me to drive all they to my moving location and pick up the truck there and take it all the way back load my truck and then take it back, and again blamed it on me would not offer any sort of discount because of THEIR mess up. I will NEVER use uhaul again

If I could give this place no stars then I would. This place literally never has the trailer their call center says they do. They have put me back everytime. So if Im scheduled to pick one up at 11 Id be lucky to get it by close. No good for anything.

Terrible management. Went for an interview and wasnt asked one question. Nepotism abounds

We reserved a truck online days ago and went to go pick it up and they claimed they were out of trucks with a whole yard full of them. This was clearly a case of discrimination because of their foul attitude towards me, being the only Mexican in the store.

Tried to get propane filled, pushed the button, waited about ten minutes. finally saw an employee & asked if they heard the buzzer ring, he said the manager is the only one who can fill propane & he’s not here. would have been nice for them to let me & others that were waiting know this.

I like the cleanness, and courtesy carts. Pricing for storage rental is reasonable.

They were friendly, courteous and, knew what they were doing. Im renting another trailer from them this Sunday.

This place is a joke so many things went wrong. I called and reserved a trailer. W hen I got there it took 30 min to do the paperwork I go out and back up to a trailer that Im supposed to get and the worker said I paid for the smaller one, so I go back in and have them change it,another 30 min while the manager is more intrested in her food to help me,so I get that taken care of I pull up to the right trailer they hook it up to my truck and the lights wont work and they wont let me take it. So after an hour and a half I go in to get a refund it has to go back to my card....that was on the 4th today is the 15th still no refund....

So, its Sunday and I need my RV Propane Bottles refilled... No one can dispense Propane except for the Manager, and he is not there on Sundays !!! I thought more of Uhaul b4 this.
