Ive been to many BJJ academies in my travels. I tried 3 other places before finding Torres. There are tons of classes and a day care for the kids. Perfect place.

Hi, I recently started coming to Torres Martial Arts Academy and I just want to say it is the best! The gym is one of the cleanest gyms in the region. I love how the employees are very kind. I got a chance to speak to Mely and she was kind and very welcoming. This gym feels like another home to me. The instructors break everything down and help you in any way possible. I would highly recommend this gym. Even if you have never trained before, they offer fundamental classes for new people. This gym has had a positive impact on me. If youve made it this far in my review and are thinking about signing up, just do it!

Miguel is an amazing teacher and person ! My son has flourished with his guidance. The staff is amazing as well ! The new facility is the best I’ve been in and unmatched in the region.

10yr old son has started kickboxing this month. the instructors have made him feel welcome and not insecure about never training before. hes been training with Damien who is very patient and very thorough. Mr. Torres has been very supportive during the training and extending his knowledge as well. We are looking forward to our sons continued development here . All the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Enrolling in this gym was a life changing experience. The confidence I gained and the lessons I learned, both in martial arts and about life in general, by Miguel and everybody are things I will forever cherish and be grateful for. As cliche as it may sound, the gym is a family that will welcome anybody as long as they are willing to listen and learn. Ive been training here for 10 years and Im going to be enrolling my son soon as well (hes turning 5). I often tell friends that Jesus and Jiu Jitsu saved my life and when it comes to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, there are none better than Miguel Torres.

This is honestly the best thing you’ll ever do! They have the greatest staff, the greatest instructors, and the greatest classes for all levels from kids to adults! There really is no better place to learn something new then here! If you’ve ever wanted to learn kickboxing, Brazilian jujitsu and more there’s no better place and no better instructors than here at Torres Martial arts! The patience and the detail in which we are being taught is amazing! I know I sound like a commercial but I swear that it’s really worth it, I’ve been coming for a year and I can’t see myself ever stopping!

I’ve been a member of this gym for 5 years and I drive an hour each way (sometimes longer while stuck in traffic), it’s worth the commute. The attention to detail that Miguel and all the instructors provide is second to none. Under their training I’ve taken 3rd in worlds and have a record of 50-9. They truly commit themselves to their students. I love Torres Martial Arts and all the staff and team members. OSs

Love the environment, the coaches break the techniques down so they are easy to understand for all levels, and they make sure everything is clean for everyone. Highly recommend this gym.

Miguels teachings and philosophies of life are top notch

We recently signed our 4 yo son up for the kickboxing and ju jit su membership. We are SO impressed with the patience and coaching of the instructors. Not only is he being taught the skills of martial arts, but life skills that can help him become a responsible and disciplined kid. I would HIGHLY recommend this training institute to any parent that wants to get his/her child in martial arts.

Been coming here for over 2 years, and cant say enough about how much this place and the people there have changed my life for the better. They have classes morning and evening and even on the holidays in the AM. Class time/availability is unmatched in the area. Miguel personally teaches the vast majority of the classes, its not just his name on the outside of the building. Hes here all day/night. Great environment for adults and kids alike. Eventually, the people there will start to feel like family to you. A lot more goes on inside these walls besides just learning to fight or get in shape. Ill just say that im a much better person, inside and out after coming here. People of all levels train here. Aspiring amateur and pro fighters, stay at home moms, retirees, kids...theres something here for everyone...if youre willing to take the first step and walking the door. ;)

Miguel is a world class fighter, and a thorough teacher. If you want to learn real world combat skills, this is the place.

One of the best decision I have ever made in 2007 was walking into this gym. Right away I was welcomed and didnt feel like an outsider. The workouts are great Miguel is a hell of a person. I can honestly say he a brother to me. And not to mention the skills you will acquire are skills that will give you confidence you need (if lack of confidence is there). Either way the best way to see if this gym is for you is to walk in and see.

I love this place. Its helped me build up my self esteem and I cant wait to go every morning. Miguel is an excellent coach and everybody that comes into the gym eventually feels like family because everybody is a team player.

One year ago I first joined Torres MMA, and over the course of that year I have been able to transform myself physically and mentally, in ways that I would have never been able to without the guidance of those who were around me at the gym.Additionally, the experience that the instructors have, compounded with the new facility, make this the clear choice for those who are serious about MMA, jiujitsu, or muay thai training. The gym itself is massive, with plenty of mat space, all new equipment, including a crossfit rig, full weights, speedbags, a cage, and other miscellaneous items such as battleropes. It’s kind of insane how complete the gym is now, and how many people it can accomodate at one time. I highly suggest that for any skill level, age, or level of fitness, you should come try a free class and see for yourself why so many people call this place their home.

My entire family attends the Torres Martial Arts Academy. agues has helped us teach out children respect, termination, and above all, in order to be successful, you must set goals and work hard to achieve them. Miguel Torres is always at the gym, and unless he is training for a fight he trains everyone. He even spilt up the classes into levels so everyone can get the attention they need. There are day classes and evening classes so I never have to worry about missing a class because of work. I love it. I was at a famous Mma fighters gym before. He was rarely there, when he was I had to pay extra for the day he was teaching the class. Miguel is at his gym every day for almost every class. His prices are very reasonable. Also I love how motivating he is, and teaches the students not to be bullies.Miguel is great and his staff are just as amazing!!! Ten stars- Jessi

I attend the kick-boxing classes at Torres Martial Arts. I definitely feel like Ive learned a lot and met some fitness goals so far in the 6 months Ive been working out there. Miguel is very dedicated to his students, he is there all day everyday they are open, incredible! His staff is also very positive and friendly. It is truly a judgement free zone there. Everyone always seems to be very encouraging and supportive in the classes. Ive been in bjj for about a year now. My first day I was a little bit intimidated but Miguel welcomed me and showed me personally how to do everything. He introduced me to the class and made me feel at ease. I receive the best training here. With only 4 months of training I went to a NAGA tournament and placed 1st against people from other schools with WAY more experience. This proves that Torres Martial Arts is the best place to train in this area!

The Best training i have ever recieved! I dont feel like Miguel is trying to compete with me. He actually seems like he wants me to succeed. I have been lied to and treated with passive aggression everywhere i have been over the last 26 years. Hence why my Ju-Jitsu sucks! But i really feel i am improving. Probably a little late. I have been taking jiu jitsu class for almost a year a Torres Martial Arts and it has been amazing! This was the third gym I tried before finding the right one. There is a true team feel with those you train with. I competed in 2 tournaments this year with Miguel as my coach and its been a experience I will never forget. Jiu jitsu has also giving me a reason to work out and live a healthy life style. If you are bored or missing something in your life come try a class it could change your life!
