Very poor attitude of the staff behind the counter. Have seen packages dropped on multiple occasions, even after being marked fragile moments before. Do not recommend.

This review is about the staff inside the Hobart Post Office. Every time I have been there, the workers have been very friendly and helpful, especially Josh. He goes above and beyond to help and truly cares about people.

Always get everything correct in mail. Whenever I go in to ship something off polite and drama free.

I called and called and called automated and no live person answer the phone I am extremely upset my mail was delivered and opened by someone else it was medical information and I NEED ANSWERS FROM A LIVE PERSON

I bought something online from a large retailer for about 600 dollars. The package was tracked as MISSENT to the Hobart Post Office instead of my own about an hour and a half away. I called the Hobart post office and the most kind woman who answered the phone immediately told me exactly what had happened in laymens terms, a human error occured when someone without a scanner rerouted my package to the wrong zipcode, and they are going out of their way to get my package to me as quick as possible. Very friendly. Great service. Would do again. Thanks Hobart Post Office!

Never answers the phone when calling. I can let it ring all day if wanted too. They need to put attention to this matter. If you have a phone number listed it should be answered within 15 seconds

Our regular mail carrier is awesome. However whoever they are using to deliver when shes off is constantly switching our mail with the neighbors across the street. They appear to not know what side of the street is even or odd. 534 is north side 535 is south side. Get it together.

Great place. I love the level of energy that comes from the workers here. They are very tentative and from what Ive seen they take care of one another and help one another to take care of the customers. Best post office Ive ever been in always clean even on bad days when its crappy weather.

Downright rude and insulting. Everyone has bad days but for how much theyre getting paid, youd think they could try to be a little nicer or at least not so mean. I always leave this post office in a bad mood. Thanks!

Unbelievably poor customer service. I just moved here and two weeks after I filled out the change of address was not getting any mail whatsoever. The person I spoke with kept making excuses that didn’t make sense and contradicted the email I fot from USPS about how change of addresses were supposed to work and how long they took. While waiting I noticed another patron being talked down to. There seems to be a generally dismissive and negative attitude toward customers here. I know post office is aren’t the most fun places to be but the downtown Hobart post office seems particularly unprofessional.

Horrible custoner service, very rude. Mans name was John, very unhelpful while trying to send care package to my son in middle east.

I am unsure if we have a new mail carrier at Rivina Pines MHC but the delivery service is awful! I am constantly having my packages brought to me by my neighbors, when my lot number is clearly written on them. Not to mention I received a bogus letter threatening me with police ( I wish you would I will sue for harassment) for receiving a package that was not mine? Which is total BS I do NOT even receive my own. Learn your JOB Because you all suck at it!

Horrible service! They constently lose important mail and when you file a complaint, nothing is done by the rude staff. No wonder use of US mail is declining!

I wouldnt have left any stars but wouldnt allow... Horrible customer service. The worst ever!!! Have been there 3 times trying to send a package back to Amazon..each time Ive been there they tell me they need something else. No help what so ever. Very rude like they dont want to be bothered.. Im sorry isnt that your job??? If you would of helped the 1st two times maybe I wouldnt have to keep coming back!

The people at this location are the rudest people I have ever worked with. They do not do anything to help anyone. I called to inquire about a package that says was at their location and without even typing in the tracking number, they answer with, we dont have it and tells me to call the Gary branch. I ask for the Gary branch phone number and they say they dont have it and I have to find it on my own. The worst people I have ever seen in any type of customer service roll.

The mailman never picks up mail in the mailbox even with the flag up the idiot puts mail on top of whats going out

Great customer service yesterday afternoon

2 christmas packages were out for delivery. We were all home on the 24th. The USPS delivery person never rang the doorbell or even attempted to deliver. Rather left a note in the mailbox that we could pick items up on the 26th since they attempted delivery and we werent home. Weird concept, with 6 cars in the driveway.

Do not finalize a package delivery as delivered (based on tracking number) by putting a pickup slip in mailbox. Horrible service at the Hobart Post office.
