Technician was great. Inspection of moth flies and mice were good. traps were left for all. Outside bates were changed for rodents.

I spoke with them on phone gentleman said they could handle it and for $333.00 they would come out to remove any more bees should there be some until December 31st. I agreed to price. Service rep came out and said he will not guarantee getting rid of bees and it was a one time visit. Service rep took a pole and sprayed a can of bee killer through the pole. He seemed really intimidated by bees and then sprayed outside of hole bees were going into under my cedar shingles. I guess my expectations were too high. Charged me full price and was adamant he would not be back. When I asked what I was paying full price for he said contact office which I will be doing in the morning. I would give them two out of five stars. Definitely would not hire again unless they make this situation better. Rep also told me person taking my call was in Georgia. Lesson learned. Verify you are getting a local company

There was a rocky start to this year, but Orkin set it right by sending out Kristina to service our property. She enjoys her work and voiced commitment to making sure we are satisfied.. The company did not show up on the day they were supposed too. They apologized, and we made an appointment for the following week. The technician, Chris, who is also the service manager, came out the following week. Once he was in our kitchen, he told us that he did not want to honor the price/plan we were given over the phone. He could clearly see what we signed up for, but he did not want to honor it.We were supposed to pay $50 (discounted first month for no show), then $150 per quarter. I was told that would be 4 months of service for $200, which is the same as $50 a month. Chris said he had a better plan, for $100/month. We have ants in our kitchen, it isn’t a year long problem...this was told to them upfront. After a 5 minute discussion, and writing it out for him on paper, he finally agreed that his “better offer” is actually double than what was offered and in the system. However, it would not be good for his numbers, so that was my new price. This interaction in our house was crazy. Beware if this employeeUpdate: I’m calling shenanigans...their Yelp review is 1.5 stars, with similar reviews to mine. After today, I question the legitimacy of their near 5 star review on google...just not sure I believe they are real reviews

The service tech, Nathan was very friendly, polite and followed all the safety protocols. He quickly and thoroughly inspected each area where the snap traps were placed, disposed of one, and replaced the sticky monitor traps that were needed.

My technician (Daniel Martel) has been EXTREMELY helpful. I’ve had multiple exterminators come to the house in the past few years for a bad pavement ant issue, and not one of them has been able to provide the help that Daniel has this year. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he is keeping the ants at bay! I can’t recommend Orkin and Particularly Daniel enough! Thank you!

Our technician was super friendly and made sure our requests were fulfilled. He couldn’t reach a window that needed to be treated from the outside and came in to treat it to make sure it got done. He let us know that he over treated certain areas to help prevent the issue from getting worse-which we really appreciated. He also said to call after 4-5 days if we see things getting worse and he’s come back and try something different. We were very pleased with his service and demeanor.

I had hired Orkin for my parents which were having a mouse infestation in one area of their house . When I made the appointment they said that they put down a special substance that attacks the mice to the traps & they would seal any entrances on the outside premises where the mice might get in . We wound up paying $280 for them to lay down a few mouse traps with pieces of slim Jim’s on them ! Nothing was sealed outside except for one spot where he stuffed a small hole with a piece of mesh ! I could have done the same thing for less than $30 ! What a ripoff! These people are con artist & I would not recommend them to anyone !

Mike, the technician that came out to my house, was super professional and pleasant to talk to. He did a great job explaining the reason behind everything he was doing. The service was priced very well. The package is much better than those offered by other companies I’ve used in the past. I am likely going to transfer one of my investment properties over to Orkin because of how happy I am with their services.

We have been having their services for a few years now after having rodents in the basement. We are happy to say, we have not had an issue since! Convienent, friendly and affordable. We will keep an orkin service wherever we live, rather prevent an issue than wait for one from now on.

I called today to get someone out to take a look at my home. The representative was extremely rude. I was attempting to explain the situation at my home (a variety of bug, ants, spiders, and unidentifiable bugs) and he continued to belittle me and say “you don’t know what type of bugs they are come on”. I made the decision to not go with this company because of the way they speak to potential customers.

I have used Orkins services for over 10 years. Their quality goes up and down, depending on the people they sent. This time the service is good.

Inspector went thoroughly through the house and exterior. She discussed several issues that I need to fix or just keep an eye on in case insects take advantage and cause problems. She noticed a problem with attic insulation that had gotten wet and needed replacing. The source of the leak had been fixed, but the insulation is not in good shape.The inspector fielded several questions fully and intelligently.

Service is great and we don’t have any pest issue with them. If one comes up they are quick to help

While the technician was friendly and thorough with placing traps and blocking up holes wherever possible, he was not well enough versed in the terms of the service agreement when it came time to sign for the 12 month service period.He initially quoted one figure, called his supervisor to confirm the amount, and then on the “welcome call” with the local branch, I was quoted with a figure twice the amount that the technician had quoted. This made the whole ordeal confusing, frustrating, and uncomfortable. He also had to read the agreement multiple times to determine where and which forms I needed to sign.Finally, while I could tell it was not intentional, he was not very professional with our interactions. He made several phone calls throughout the service (including one while I was on the “welcome call” which was disruptive). I appreciate that he wore a mask due to the current pandemic however a few times, he stood uncomfortably close to me given the current six feet of distance recommendation.Overall, I will see how things improve after this initial service regarding our pest issue. But it’s clear that Orkin needs to ensure their technicians understand the contract and the associated terms prior to making service visits. That whole process was very frustrating. And COVID guidelines need to be more closely followed.This is not a direct complaint against this particular technician since he was thorough with the actual pest control portion of the service, it’s more of a complaint regarding his lack of training surrounding financial aspects of the service.

Christina was our ORKIN technician. She was terrific. She has helped us identify another possible entry place for the mice continuing to find their way into our barn-like house. Since we have used ORKIN, the mice have been almost completely taken care of *which means for us they can stay outside and be happy there! After starting Orkin service for a month all the problems were gone. I had some mice problem but it’s no more, thanks to Orkin. I highly recommend them and will keep using their services.

The guys that show up are fine, but every time they come, they end up not being able to get the green plastic bait housings back into the hole. They try to open up the hole with a big crowbar and it either doesnt work, leaving the cover as a trip hazard above the ground, or it way over sizes the hole. They need a special small auger that would fit into a cordless drill, to empty and shape the existing hole. Seriously...every time this is a huge problem and then they even have to schedule another visit....this year, we called to confirm the scheduled visit, they said theyd show in the morning. They didnt so we called again and they said there was no appointment. Rescheduled for following week and made sure they were going to do BOTH the inspection and bait check and bring the auger. The assured us that was the case. Person showed up only aware of inspection...no bait check scheduled and no auger. Every year they mess this up. Called the manager and he finally called the technician and added the bait check. The technician, Christine, did an excellent job and was very pleasant and informative. Orkin needs a 6 sigma review.

Chris is my Orkin guy. He’s awesome! He’s been my guy for a while and knows the house well. When we first signed up with Orkin we had some ant and mice problems, Chris had some recommendations about a wood pile and did his thing and now we don’t have any issues.Chris has brought some trainees out occasionally and he is the ultimate professional.I can’t say enough good things about Orkin and Chris in particular.

I had a service call and I had to call to get the results. When the traps were originally placed in my yard I called and reported some traps were above ground. I also told the technician some were above ground. The technician came to my house on a call and I told him again. He looked and told me he didn’t have the correct tool and next time in my area he would stop by and fix it. No next time came. A technician came yesterday to check the traps and I told him. He tried to fix it with a screwdriver and one of my gardening tool. The traps are still above ground with big holes in my yard. To prevent someone from tripping I need to have these removed or properly install.In the beginning I was sold a plan without having my home inspected and found out it was the wrong plan. Now I think I have the correct plan with empty traps.

I had pantry moths. I had Jerry service my home today, he was very thorough he made sure to wear a face mask and foot coverings he . He set traps and seated my yard for pavement ants. I am pleased with the service I received.

Had a scare that we might have brought bed bugs home with us during vacation. The specialist sent to us, Tim, was extremely thorough, personable, and patient with our questions. We were do impressed that, when he couldnt find anything, didnt try to sell us some expensive service, but gave us a list of DIY actions we could take.

Jerry arrived on time and was very professional. He took a few minutes to answer a couple questions I had and even gave me a couple tips. I cant comment on whether my yellow jacket problem will return, but assuming its resolved this was worth definitely worth it.
