Typical Chinese food. Nothing special honestly. Huge portions though, which was nice. The duck sauce was good.

The last time I came here, I got pork fried rice. I went her instead of Kathay Center, my go to for Chinese, because it is closer and more affordable. I thought it was a little dry, but overall, it was good. According to the police log, the police are called here not too much, but enough for me to notice a pattern. It is probably once every 2 weeks and it is usually about something in the parking lot and not inside.

Great Chinese Food and friendly bartenders slinging drinks. Lots of TVs and yes, a 2020 Golden Tee that you want to be good at but face it, youre not.

Ordered chicken and broccoli which was really good with delicious dark sauce. Also, took General Gau’s Chicken, which wasn’t spicy at all (it’s marked red on the menu).

We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we visited this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a delightful evening there with great dishes and a professional crew and a great chef. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall definitely return soon. Highly recommended.

Excellent food served in big portions and great drinks. Cozy environment, great for dine in our take out. The staff is always fun and witty.

We like a lot to go out. Last night we arrived in this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with great dishes and a courteous stuff and a distinguished cook. We put this place in our list and we will certainly visit again soon. We highly recommend.

I love this place. A bit loud because dining room is next to bar, but food was soooo yummy. I loved it. Awesome Prices. Food cane within 25 minutes. Definitely a returning customer !!! The service was nice, older woman served us, super nice .

Popped in for a late night snack. Ended up ordering their cheeseburger with fries. Great taste, arrives steaming hot, and the fries are crunchy and steaming hot. Not crunchy like other places. My server wore a smile on her face and continued to do so while we talked. If course this late night. Choose this place for a late night burger and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Great place to grab a beer. I like to go here to watch football - there are enough TVs that every seat at the bar has a great view of a screen. Generally not much of a crowd. Havent had enough of the food to really give a review.

This is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in the country! Every time I come home from Houston, I have to visit twice!! Their Kai platter is perfect for the table and the food is always so fresh! Great staff as well!!

Always fresh, always delivered hot, always a friendly and welcoming staff when we have a drink or two there, plenty of food for leftovers. We are regular customers.

Food is good. Drinks are good and will do what theyre intended to do. But they use cheap booze so youll feel like death the next day.

1/11/2020 Tonight for some reason, the take out food was just not that good at all. Normally when we do take out or eat in here , the food is great and flavorfull. Everything we ordered for take out was not up to par like it usually had been. There was no flavor to it at all. Its almost like when you go to a place you like all the time and then when you eat , you say to yourself this must be a different cook or something.The food tasted like it would taste as if you had left overs and re heated the food the next day. Bland as could be. Maybe they changed the cook ? Maybe the cook is on vacation ? Maybe the cook has left for better pasteurs and more money ? who knows ! we are disappointed to the point that it was enough for us to start looking for a new chinese restaurant. NOT AS GOOD AS THEY USED TO BE !

We, as a family have been going to the Ocean Kai since we moved to Hingham and the Kai opened! Its the only Chinese food I will eat. For almost 50 yrs weve enjoyed our home town Chinese restaurant. I wouldnt go any where else.

For those who havent been, let me describe the layout of this place: Asian restaurant on the left with lots of seating, cozy dive bar on the right that hosts karaoke and trivia nights. Its a real hidden gem. Friendly staff, a wide selection of dishes on the menu, and plenty of regular customers to prove it.

I LOVE their crab ragoon and Im EXTREMELY picky about those. They have really good general gous and the free bread is always a great plus. the chicken doesnt come with rice so you have to buy it on the side but its still all worth it to me. They have very good sweet and sour chicken I usually hate it when the sauce has fruit and stuff in it because it usually dilutes the flavor and makes it very watery but theirs wasnt too diluted.

I’ve order out couple of times but never dined in. I LOVE there Ocean KAI fried rice. Yesterday was my first time dining in and my last. My waitress didn’t introduce her self, there was a server eating behind the bar when you first walk in, the place was cold and my waitress had nosal dripping. Which see kept cleaning with the same tissue paper and not washing her hand. There was a big dinner party that had a buffet going on. My waitress was more concerned with fixing herself a plate of food than serving my table. The owner was very nice and sweet. The staff on the other hand need a little more tlc.

Good chinese food here. Order the rice with your choice of three different sides in the lunch menu. Add $1 if you want noodles instead. Good place to play keno. Can get busy if there is a game on tv.

Every table had dirty plates and leftover food!! They screwed up our drink order twice and our food was cold. 2 children were sitting behind the bar playing on their phones. This place was gross!! Id never eat here again

Food is not all that great for the price you pay, you get small portions of food and dont even get rice with it you have to order it separate. We sat at the bar last night which was empty by the way but maybe 6 people and the waitress barely came by every 20 minutes. Ordered a scorpion bowl that tasted mostly like juice and was small as hell but paid $17 for it! Save your money and find a better place.

Take out order, good quantity, delicious and hot, lots of extras like bread, soy sauce and duck sauce. Ready in 10 minutes while delivery was going to be an hour.

Food and service is awesome at this local Chinese restaurant on 3a in Hingham. Not fancy on the outside but clean, friendly.. even if you want to have lunch/dinner sit at the bar or not, and play Keno. Extremely welcoming and diverse crowd. Locals from 21 -80s, all just enjoying excellent Chinese food and the amazing Bartender Connie. I sit in awe as she know everyones name in the place and for mewcomers, she immediately introduces herself. This is in no way to say the other staff is less. They all together make for a hidden gem where you can have great drinks, reasonably priced food and get this.... they make their crab Rangoons and egg rolls from scratch. Check it out, you wont be disappointed!
