I called SCR of Hinesville to get a car for my daughter and her husband to come home for Christmas. The lady I talked to was very nice and handled everything very well I thought . She quoted me a price of $303.00 for 2 days and that was $150 dollar deposit included and under age of 25 fee . I asked twice about the price and she confirmed both times . So I did the math and was like that’s $75 a for small car and that was average for price . I called the company back and rented the car 2 more days for them so they could just return it Monday morning instead of Saturday by 1 pm ... the price went to $426 so still around the $70 a day range . I rent small cars for $45 a day from enterprise so they were in line with price plus fee and taxes . When my daughter got there a week or so later the price changed . I had already wired her the money so she was supposedly good but they told her the underage fee had not been added so tack on another $15 a day and she had to get insurance which was $36 a day ( that’s real high ) so total was almost $600 . I just didn’t feel like arguing cause I called to do that but just hung up cause we wanted our daughter and son n law home for Christmas. So I just wired her the money they wanted and just told her to pay and drive safe . It would be a 3 because of this but they had no issue with their car and it was very nice and clean . I don’t know if I will choose to do business with them or stick with Enterprise like I should’ve to start with but I wanted to do business with a local business during this time .

Very unprofessional in your approach! I ONLY gave this location a 1 because I couldnt write a review without giving you some type of rate, but you truly deserve a ZERO. I reserved my car online from the hinesville location on March 25th and called in to confirm it. the day of my pick up(March 27th) as Im turning into the location, I get a phone call from one your staff informing me that they did not have a vehicle to put me in. WHO DOES THAT?!!!? THE DAY OF?!!!!! you call me, while Im there to pick up my reserved rental to tell me oh the rental we were suppose to have for you isnt coming back today and the other one we were going to put you in is damaged. I had plans to drive out of town, bags packed, rooms booked, that I had to cancel last minute, trip canceled last minute! I am livid at the fact that no one contacted me at least a DAY prior so that I could have made other arrangements. I had no time to prep, no where else to go being that its a weekend. Shame on your staff! I would NEVER suggest anyone to this business. Not ONCE did your staff offer me any other dates or to even attempt to work something out with me the next working business day. SHAMEFUL! UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONVENIENT is what your name should be.

Prices are cheap but I got my deposit held after renting the car for almost 2 months because my dog hair that was on my clothes ended up in the car. It does not cost $150 to clean a car. There was not $150 worth of dog hair in that car. My dogs were never in that vehicle

This rental agency is awesome. They cater to active and retired military personnel. The rental cost is cheaper than other rental agencies. The staff is friendly. The vehicles are well maintained and always clean. The pick-up and drop off process is flawless. Ms. Shandale and Ms. Amber, THANK YOU for your exemplary service.

The price was the best by far out of all of the other rentals we checked. We took our rental on a road trip, and had a good experience with our rental vehicle. The unusual thing about this place is that it is inside the Nissan dealership. There was no signs or any other indication as to where the rental office was! Other weird things: when we were inspecting the car prior to renting, we were given an informative pep talk by the worker to help us remember how to take care of the car like it is our baby.... sorry, odd. I am pretty sure the 100$ deposit would remind us to be careful. And then, upon dropping it off, we were chastised for not vacuuming the car out. We have never vacuumed a rental out in the past and were totally surprised by this request. Bottom line, this place seems to operate a little differently than your typical car rental company.

Im disappointed. My rental smelled of smoke and was dirty. Price was the best in town, but again the vehicle was very dirty.

Once I was able to locate this business I was pretty much good to go. The clerk was courteous and helpful. She worked really hard to make sure things were correct.I wish she had a little more help.

Me and my family rented a vehicle from this company. And had nothing but the best experience. The car we rented was a 2019 Nissan Rouge. My husband and I fell in love with this car. It was clean and brand spanking new. Nothing wrong with it at all, no issues what so ever. I loved that car so much, when I came to return the vehicle. The next day I purchased me a 2015 Nissan Rouge. And that car is amazing!! I really love my car. It has all the features and everything just like the 2019 one. I will be referring all of my family and friends to this company. Trust me its worth it 💯P.S. I would like to give her a zero for being a no show. I talked to her twice on the phone to let her know that I was coming. I was stuck in traffic but made it there at 5:50 pm. She had already left. She said she would be in until 6 pm. I needed a rental right away, not when she feels like working. Ridiculous how people do business 😠 in the south.
