Bring both my boys here every time they need a hair cut. Michael does a great job with them and is super quick which is important with little boys. Michael and staff are always very friendly and accommodating. My boys always ask to stay longer so they can play! Highly recommend for kids all ages!

I bring my 4 yr old son here for his hair cuts. Michael is patient yet quick, which is great when someone is cutting a squirmy kids hair. He gets the job done and the hair cut is great!

Wow! I usually don’t leave reviews because I’ve had a lot of hellish experiences with my curly hair at barbers but I just had to leave one today because I consulted with Michael and he suggested the best way to cut my hair and now I feel like a million bucks! Thanks again Michael !!

I took my 15 month old to this salon for hair cut. I entered and sit my infant boy on the car seat. I was surprised Michael within no time he started working haircut. He doesnt know minimum common sense he should allow time for baby to settled down. He should have given time for me to divert my son attention towards toys. My son started crying, Michael doesnt have patience to wait for few mins for me to calm him down. I took my son on my hands to calm him down after I told Michael. But he started working on my son hair cut while my boy in my hands. Michael does not have any patience and dont know at all how to handle infant hair cut. In that process Michael did small cut on my sons forehead. I noticed that after I returned home, if I were found this when I was at salon, I could have blasted him. Moreover they dont have any sample pictures for kids haicut styles. I did a big Mistake taking my son hair cut to this salon based on review. PLS STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON FOR KIDS HAIR CUT.

This place is beyond amazing. Mike is an incredibly talented artist. I came in for the first time today with 2 pictures of what I wanted the haircut to look like, & he made it an exact, perfect, combination of the two !! It came out better than I was hoping it to! He is on point. Very focused on his craft, while being able to provide an outstanding conversation. He has a very warming, positive, & uplifting personality, as does the atmosphere of the place!The prices here are the best that Ive ever seen in the area. The prices are also listed on the mirror for all the wide range of services they have!This place was everything I wanted it to be & so much more!! It only took me one visit to know that Ill definitely be going here from now on.

I cant say enough about Michael and his salon. He is very talented and has incredibly reasonable rates. I have been looking for a hairdresser since 2001 and I have finally found him! I have wavy thin hair and he is the first one to add layers that work. I usually have puffs of hair popping out in odd spots, but it falls so much better now and just looks so much neater. My 8 year olds hair was really long and she went in dreading the cutting process. After speaking to Michael just for a few minutes, she decided to go shoulder length, and it looks fantastic. He was so good with the kids, not overly chatty like some, but very friendly and comforting in his mannerisms. Even my shy 4 year old was quick to warm up to him and sat still and let him cut her hair without sitting on my lap. (The first time ever!)The salon is well laid out, there is a spot for kids, a spot for simple hair cuts and a back area with sinks and everything for coloring and processing. The spot for kids is perfect. The location is great. Street parking only but there are plenty of spaces because its a side street off of Broadway. Next to Starbucks, so you can get your caffeine fix while you wait. :)

I have been coming to Michael for my haircuts since I was around 16, Im 24 now and still dont trust anyone else with my hair. They always gave me advice on what would look good for my face shape when I would change hairstyles and always listened carefully to what I wanted.I have always been satisfied when leaving. Amazing place and people, you always feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you come in. It is a very friendly environment.And also its a great price for the quality of the haircut. This is a great salon! Michael and Toni Marie are very friendly! I’m very happy with my hair! I love the salon I am now official client of theirs I will let no one else do my hair but this Salon .. I was even allowed to bring my small dog with me to hang out while I got my hair trim and some blonde highlights... so if Anyone is looking for a great salon to have amazing results and beautiful hair I recommend Salon cuts as a place to go!

Michael Salerno, owner and stylist at Salon de Calores, has been the only stylist for the past 4 years that I trust to cut my hair. He is excellent at his craft and gives me a great cut and more importantly, the style I ask for every time. No waiting 2 weeks for it to look good ha! Its perfect every time I get up from his chair! And it holds its shape for a long time. His products are great as well. He is kind and funny too and his prices are reasonable. So glad I found him and highly recommend you choose him and the salon for all your hair needs. You wont be disappointed.

Michael Salerno delivered fantastic service today cutting my elderly dad’s hair. He was super responsive and professional. Not only did he provide a great haircut, he also did a fantastic shave (and much needed)! First time appointment with Michael went great! Picked a time slot online in the morning, sat in his chair that same afternoon. Michael is a very skilled barber, and I was impressed with his cut and style ability since I have short hair. My pixie cut was trimmed just the way I like it! He is located around the corner from Starbucks too, a real win-win!

Hes personable, efficient, and better yet hes great at what he does! I took my 5 year old boy and 3 year old girl this morning. We were in and out in 30 min! Great online booking service. Great hair cuts. Just what I wanted. Michael was great, professional, and friendly. Place was clean and had kids friendly. They had toys that the kids played with to pass time. They had a section for women and men. Needed a haircut and saw Michaels work. I knew him 30yrs ago when he did haircuts at a former employer. I called & he got me in ASAP. I was very satisfied. I have thick hair that grows heavy on top. He clean it up good.Hell see me again.

Ive known Mike for over 27 years and have been visiting his salon (in a previous location) since I moved to hillsdale about 20 years ago. Ive had the pleasure of getting to know the skilled and friendly stylists he keeps on staff. I am picky about my hair cuts and Im am quite sincere when I say I would never let anyone else near my hair unless I have no other choice.
