It goes by quickly. It is a full body workout and the coaches are motivating, helpful and nice. Also if you miss a class you have to pay which is sometimes the only thing that makes me go in the early morning

Ive been going to gyms for fifteen years and in two months Pulse Fitness has changed the way I approach health and fitness. The coaches are detail oriented and care about each person that walks through the door like were family. Pulse is not just a gym, its a community of people supporting each other to become healthier, stronger, and more functional. I wish I had discovered this place sooner!

It is truly not an exaggeration to say that becoming a member of Pulse Boxing and Fitness changed my life. After moving to Highland Park a couple of years ago, I was in search of a gym, but at Pulse, I found so much more than a gym, I found a community. When I first joined, I was intimidated because everyone seemed really fit, and I was worried I would not be able to keep up. However, the coaches provided me with personalized attention to ensure I could participate fully. Now, two years later, the coaches continue to help keep me committed to my fitness journey. I think what I appreciate the most about Pulse is that every workout is fun and engaging. No two workouts are the same, and I love the variety: whether it’s boxing, strength training, boot camp, or rowing, I know I am going to burn a lot of calories and have fun while doing it. Joining Pulse was the best fitness decision I ever made and I could not recommend it more highly.

Pulse has been an amazing opportunity to get back into fun and challenging fitness classes. Stocked with everything from cross-fit type bootcamp workouts to boxing to rowing to weight lifting, coaches regularly provide correction and modification during the 60 minute class format. Outdoor classes have been available since they reopened as well, ensuring even the most safety conscious have a chance to get their workout on. Thanks to Coaches Ashley, Pat, JLo, Tori, Janzten and Justin for being AWESOME!

Pulse is absolutely a great place to work out! These are the reasons why I love Pulse:- Great coaches - all the coaches are knowledgeable and personable. They take time to get to know each member, and they are constantly coming up with creative ideas to support and encourage everyone to strive. They really care about everyone achieving their own personal goals.- Wonderful community - Pulse cares about building a great community. Pulse workouts are not about competing against each other, but challenging yourself to improve at your own pace. I workout with a wonderful group of people who support, encourage and challenge each other.- A variety of classes - Pulse offers a variety of classes such as strengths and cardio, bootcamp, boxing, and rowing classes. They are all fun and I never get bored with it!- Great feelings - Pulse workouts make me feel great physically and mentally. I used to get headaches and back/shoulder pain daily, but no more headaches and my body feels great! Pulse workouts also help me get rid of my stress, and I feel mentally great when I start my day with my morning workout.I highly recommend Pulse boxing and fitness in Highland Park!

Started here about 3 weeks ago and I’m loving it! Each coach is lovely to work with and despite being new and not knowing what to do or how to do it, I’ve felt welcomed and very comfortable in each and every class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

The classes at Pulse are the most exciting and fun of any type of workout that Ive ever done. My goals are to maintain a high level of fitness, not get injured and have a lot of fun working out. The team at Pulse always accomplish those goals. Unlike many other workouts Ive done, I never get bored at Pulse, and I never watch the clock to see if Im almost done. If youre currently doing that, you need to make a change to this place immediately. Training with boxing as a focus of your workout means more than just using your hands and arms. You train with your core and your legs and you are training your mind to concentrate on new moves and figuring out how to get your feet to work with the rest of your body. Especially hard when your doing it to the beat of the music jamming from the speakers. When I first started training with the Pulse team, I was having a number of different problems, like tight hip-flexors, softer core, alignment issues, which all lead to being in varying levels of pain. I have been working out at Pulse for more than a year, and at 49 years old, I am probably in the best shape of my life, and totally free of day to day pain. My weekend hockey game has improved significantly too. Especially my slapshot (all core). I am writing this because I love working out there, and I highly recommend this workout for men and women who want to get in shape, learn new skills, gain confidence, and have a blast doing it.

I can’t say enough great things about Pulse Boxing and Fitness. As a working mom, I always had an excuse for not working out. I decided I needed to do something…I was constantly tired, run down, mentally not feeling well and my clothes were not fitting… I decided to give Pulse Boxing and Fitness a try. I was hooked from the first class. The coaching staff is great - very friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and approachable - and the programming is personalized to each member’s goals and fitness level. It’s a great fusion of personal training and group-based workouts with coaches who closely monitor (and sincerely care about) each individual and his or her progress. You won’t get lost in the crowd, and you’re not just another member at Pulse. The coaches take genuine interest in each member, and the environment is fun and welcoming. They even offer traditional personal training if you prefer more one-on-one attention, which is a great option. Ultimately, whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or are more advanced, I would highly recommend giving Pulse a shot. I am 2 months into my journey with Pulse, I have lost weight 12 lbs , feel more energetic and have met new friends.

I’ve been coming here for a couple months now and it’s a great workout every time! The Pulse family is very welcoming and knows how to put in work. I used to do personal training and I swear I get even better results in a group environment here. The owners Jennifer and Pat are absolutely shredded and without a doubt experts in the boxing & fitness industry! If you want to workout then go to your commercial gym, if you want results come to Pulse!

I just started working out here and I am loving it! Such friendly staff and very knowledgeable about the body. It is a great gym atmosphere with a lot of energy and people there to work hard. They offer nutritional coaching as well and I plan on signing up for that too.

This gym is amazing. The variety and scope of each class they offer is coached with the upmost knowledge and expertise of fitness & technique. Classes are challenging & intense, but also so much fun. The coaches at Pulse are truly invested in each and every individual who walk through their doors. There is an emphasis placed on correct form & injury prevention as the coaches run their classes with knowledge and experience of fitness & boxing. People on the Northshore have their pick of multiple gyms to choose from~but when you come to Pulse, you will find that it has a unique vibe that many others do not have, where everyone feels part of a community where you are encouraged to feel and be your best self.

Perfect place to work out!!! Trainers are Involved in your health and lifestyle and know their stuff. I took a class with Pat Murphy once and it was quite a great workout experience!! Would suggest to people of all work out levels to try this gym out!!
