Discriminated against my mother for not speaking english very well although she understands A LOT. I’m truly disappointed. Told us they would not let her bring in her own certified translator to the facility for therapy services, and I quote the front desk operator & the doctor “We don’t see people who do not speak english.” I told them I would go with her if I needed to translate for her and they said I would NOT be allowed to do that. NO ONE Should be denied mental health services because of the color of their skin or their language, gender, etc. Truly disappointed and SHOCKED by the so called “policy” they have that discriminates against anyone who doesn’t speak the language they do when certified, professional interpreters are available to help. I’ll be letting everyone I know about your “services”.
