Very clean rooms great customer service nice and quiet highly recommend

The area here is odd. This hotel is on a mall loop, but the mall is completely dead. Walking into the hotel, there was a large crowd getting drunk, they were so loud it was hard to hear the front desk woman while we were trying to check in. The room was OK, a little beat up, but it smelled horrible. The only reason I choose this hotel was because it was wooded behind it so I figured it would be quiet while we slept, probably the best part. For the price, I dont think this place is worth it.

One nightmare after another....but get stuck in their elevator for over 45 minutes and being completely hysterical I was so much as given a tissue. Hotel went completely downhill, not that it had a wiggle room to begin with.

Terrible experience, would not recommend. . I paid $249 for one night and the room didn’t have running water in the shower. They told us maintenance came it it 8am and he didn’t come in till 9am on Saturday. No communication.

We love to stay at the Courtyard High Point.We try to go there at least once a year all though we had to miss a couple of years. We used to live there and like to check it out and see friends. We love staying there as it is centrally located to restaurants, stores, City Lake Park and Oak Hollow and also to where we used to live. It is always clean, staff is always friendly and helpful. We love the little restaurant bar and the outside sitting area. We are breakfast there and it was delicioius! Hope to go back next year! The staff is excellant in every way!

Clean, but area is lonely now. Mall is closed down and feels scary at night.

I made a reservation there and when I arrived everything was wrong. I asked if I can have my puppy poodle there and was told yes but when I arrived that along with other things was an issue. Despite my ability to remain calm the last at the front desk continued to be belligerent and rude. Thankfully the people I called were very respectful and handled the chaos with class. In the end I had to make a whole new reservation at another location.

Very nice hotel, from desk staff and room. However, we stayed in 210 and there was a noise outside our window that sounded like a popcorn machine... All night long!!! I did mention this to the front desk and they in turn were very receptive so Lord willing the next guests will have a peaceful night sleep! We would stay here again, just unlucky 🙃

Hotel is fine for a quick stay. Heater and AC are old wall units. Bathrooms need updating tv had to keep reloading. Food was good but opened minimalHours. Room was clean except behind toilet. Funny smell in halls. Gym tiny. But allFine for a quick overnight. Staff was nice.

We originally had a reservation at a nearby hotel but after getting there at 1 am and seeing a handful if guests in the lobby complaining that their rooms hadnt been cleaned from the previous guests, we decided to find a different hotel. We showed up at the Courtyard at 1:30 am and they were so friendly and accommodating. They were able to get us into a very clean and comfortable room. Cant thank them enough for their hospitality! Highly recommend!

Check in was efficient and the staff friendly. The room is nice and cleaner than most hotels. So far I have been pleased with the noise level as it has been quiet. The air conditioner is also quiet which is almost never the case in hotels. My only minor complaint is that there is no breakfast included and the breakfast here is a bit pricey.

Our stay at the Courtyard High Point was a pleasant experience. We were greeted with a friendly smile and helpful tips. The grounds were kept meticulous and clean. The interior of the lobby as well as the room was clean and up to date with furnishings. Staff friendly and polite. Well stocked bar. The only negative was a soccer team that took up the whole dining room during breakfast and we could not get a place to sit. Very nice meeting area around a fireplace and comfortable seating.

Was greeted by Christine at the front desk, and she appeared to be happy to be there and attentive. Checked in with absolutely no problem. Christine was also very helpful when we requested additional pillows and blankets. SHE WAS GREAT AND SHOULD BE COMMENDED !!Room had a terrible musty smell and gave the impression the room was not appropriately cleaned. Other than that - room was fine. pillows need to be covered with pillowcases (they had none). The restaurant - complete disaster !! Staff is indifferent and poorly trained. area was a mess with dishes left from previous guests; one staff member walked through the area twice and did not even bother to pick up any of the dishes that were left - just simply did not care. I had to clean off my own table. Last morning before checkout, the lady taking orders was curt and rude - just not any interest in attending to the guests at all. Management was nowhere to be found; just not a well run unit and its obvious management just does not care at all. This is the fourth Courtyard by Marriott I have stayed in, and it was by far the worst. Given the current state of affairs in the city they are in (High Point) - you would think the owner would be more interested in how his hotel is operating, but that does not appear to be the case at all.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The TV was a nice size in the room, Im guessing a 50. The common area was really spacious. The gym was small, but had the basic hotel 2 treadmills, stationary bike, elliptical and some light weights. I would stay here again. My only negative is the dang lock to our door kept getting stuck, so you lift the door handle instead of normally pushing the door lever down. Its not much, but it was very frustrating.

A nice, off the beaten path of a busy street, located on a loop. An exceptional bank, is close by, including 3 commercial eateries, all within 1200 feet. Then for most extended stays, a Target is located in the loop, in an opposite direction, about 600 feet away. So, hot tub, relax a moment and enjoy the comforts of your suite/room, while not going too far to wine, dine, enjoy craft beer and steak, knowing a general merchandise store is also close by.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott courtyard in High Point this weekend and found it to be immaculate, comfortable, and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and you can tell that they take pride in their local university. While we did not partake of the food offerings, they have a nice café style restaurant and grab and go foods. I would definitely stay there again

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott High Point. We went to the area for a soccer tournament. This hotel was not on the tournament list, but due to rain, our venue for the soccer event had changed and we located closer to the fields. In total, there were nine families who stayed the weekend. We were so impressed with the size of the room and bathroom. It was super clean and the staff was fantastic. As an added bonus, the outside area was a wonderful backyard garden area with ample seating for our entire team parents to meet up, have a drink and talk. If given the opportunity, we will stay there again!

Convenient location in the central High Point area and minutes from the gorgeous High Point University campus and downtown High Point proper. Locates behind the former Oak Hollow Mall, which is largely just a dead mall now, devoid of access or any stores except for, as of this post, a Dillards Clearance.Staff very friendly and professional and a styled up Bistro serves food and drinks. Rooms also updated and contemporary.Indoor pool! Gym has free weights and a couple of treadmills and is small enough to feel cramped on a busy night.

Room was clean and comfortable to stay, but extra charges for water? I saw guests coming in with their own cases of water. Bathroom did not have the single use shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Didnt even shower cap for the misses

When we arrived, the hotel had no hot water for the night due to a broken boiler.While the staff is very sweet, they had no training to handle this.We had to learn about it from other guests and then negotiate a rate reduction after finding out.Otherwise a lovely hotel - clean, nice staff...lovely.

If you have a student in HPU this hotel is clean, convenient and friendly. Expect to pay extra for it and plan way in advance because it gets sold out very quickly. I booked a year in advance for the graduation.

I made a surprise visit to bring my daughter a puppy to her college, High Point University. I did not have a reservation but they were very happy to have me and made me feel welcome. The room was nicer then I expected with an extremely comfortable bed with lots of very comfortable pillows. I slept like a baby and was extremely happy with everything about the hotel and my stay. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone staying in the HighPoint Area.

I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you are given a room on the first floor near the pool. I also dont recommend leaving anything there. You wont get it back

Overall, it is good. Seemed there may have been some staffing issues that contributed to the room not be ready at check-in time and staffing for the lobby restaurant/bar.Otherwise, completely meets the Marriott standard and then some.I would recoomend this property!

We had a one night stay for a family event. The room was big and very clean. They offer streaming services on their TVs which we hadn’t seen anywhere else we’ve stayed. Check in and out were incredibly quick. Will stay again when we’re in town!

This was, literally, top to bottom the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. A one night stay on our way to the beach with 2 little girls with no expectations left us wanting to stay another night

We used this hotel to stay in during our trip the High Point Furniture Market. Its location made it a great place to get away from the madness of Main Street, but kept you close enough to the showrooms and places for great dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the university or the market showrooms. It is located walking distance to Liberty Restaurant and Brewing Company a great place to have dinner or drinks.

Friendly staff. Breakfast bar offers a quick, healthy, delicious breakfast. Beds are very comfortable. Group sales department staff is very accommodating and responsive.

Staff very friendly and lobby is well appointed and clean. Room not so much. Room 219 Lights burned out, couldnt work at desk, mold and hair in shower and sink faucets spraying water out of base. Needs attention and improvement in rooms.

We were happy to see such a nice room - there is a light feature you see upon entering that is definitely uptown. The indoor pool is great. Exercise room small but nice. Breakfast bar was perfect. We didnt realize at first that they also apparently make scrambled eggs etc, but the coffee was Starbucks and we enjoyed our yogurt and granola.

No breakfast or anything to snack the bristol opens later and closes early .the rooms was really nice clean and spacious!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had plenty of room for our family of four. The whirlpool was relaxing and the kids had fun in the pool. The food at the Bistro was great for a reasonable price. Location was perfect. There are a lot of restaurants up and down on 68. Theres a mall next to the Courtyard so you could spend a day shopping. We are definitely going back in November.

Large clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Breakfast and snacks are served in the lobby at the bar. You can get adult beverages here. There is a nice patio out back with woods surrounding it. The mall next door is closed.

We stayed for two nights and we really enjoyed the experience . This was one of three hotels we stayed in on our trip and it was by far the best of the three. The room was very spacious and clean , very comfortable beds , the bathroom was immaculate . The lobby and breakfast areas were very nice - the food was quite good - we ate breakfast there both days . It was our first time staying at the hotel and we selected it primarily because we have stayed at Courtyard hotels before and this one was located in a mall area , which I thought would be a big plus. Unfortunately , the mall was not very big and while there were a couple of decent restaurants in the vicinity , you had to know your way around if you were looking for really good restaurants for dinner. We did eat at three of the restaurants near the hotel and they were pretty good , so overall , the hotel stay was very good.

The Courtyard Marriott is excellent! The rooms are superb and the staff is beyond excellent. Shelby at the front desk is excellent. Her professionalism is beyond superb.

This is a very good Courtyard location. Our only issue was the lack of sheets/blankets for the sofa bed, which we had planned to use. When we realized that, we were exhausted and didnt feel like calling the front desk. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful.

We stayed at this High Point hotel while attending a Wake Forest graduation. About a thirty minute easy commute. It is near High Point University. Rates were good. There is a 24-hour McDonald nearby for coffee and early breakfast. Hotel is clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights and 3 days. The hotel is gorgeous! The food amazing, the room spacious and extremely clean. The staff were nice also. Would love to return again very soon. 5 star all the way!!!

When I booked the room I was given the military rate but when I checked in I was told that I had to be active duty and not retired. I was never informed that when I initially booked the reservation. I’ve always stayed here for the past 3 /12 and was given the military rate but I was informed that the new manager changed it to active duty only, but the reservation clerk did not inform me of that. It’s very disrespectful that this new manager does not honor military retirees. If you’re a military retiree, make sure you stay somewhere else and let your military friends and family know.

The Courtyard High Point is an excellent hotel for many reasons. I travel frequently and found the hotel to be a real oasis for me. The food service is the best of any Courtyard I have experienced and the staff was professional and personable. It is a calm and quiet setting, close to many spots in the city and reasonably priced. I would recommend it without hesitation.

In true Marriott fashion this hidden hotel, offers all the convinces of the courtyard brand with the positive and safe environment of the University that is across the street. Special rates and additions for specific HPU events. Close to campus an located in the parking lot of a now, abandoned mall. Close to food, shopping, and downtown High Point. Clean lobby and rooms, with convenient coffee, bar, and quick bits.

From start to finish and every point in between our stay was a 10! From our first interation with Jes at the front desk to the cleanliness and well maintained room, the bar and food were delicious, and Ashley at the bar was warm and welcoming! The location is close to many attractions and the staff was there with an answer to any question or direction we needed!

Great service especially Ansel at the front desk,nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast is included and actually good. Starbucks available which is a plus. The bar food and drinks are great and there is always a nice crowd lounging in the lobby and media area. It is the best hotel if you are visiting highpoint university because of its close proximity.

The hotel was very clean and the standard 2 queen bed room was spacious for 3 people. The hotel is only 3-4 minutes to High Point University and within walking distance to a mall, fast food restaurants, and 2 dine in restaurants. The rooms come with a refrigerator, but it would have been nice to have a microwave also to heat up our leftovers from dinner the night before. Overall, the hotel price (discounted for visiting HPU) was very reasonable especially for all it has to offer.

Upon our arrival we felt very welcomed. Staff actually remembered us from our stay 4 weeks prior! Made us feel very much at home. I travel with a service dog so feeling comfortable makes my life a whole lot easier. Thank you!

Visited my granddaughter at High Point University, along with my 9 year old granddaughter. Loved cuddling in the comfy beds while watching the 2018 Winter Olympics! My granddaughters and I also enjoyed the heated indoor pool on that chilly weekend. Highly recommend the Courtyard Marriott in High Point, NC!

However we selected this because we thought there was a mall at the same location, but found an almost vacant mall preparing to close as High Point University was taking it over. My husband and I have stayed at the High Point Marriott several times now, as one of our children attendsHigh Point University. The Courtyard has proven to be very convenient location as to its proximity to the University. The staff has been very courteous, responsive and professional to any requests. We would definitely recommend this facility.

Over the last four years we have stayed at this hotel while visiting our daughter in college, and we have been pleased every time. It is conveniently located, clean, and nicely furnished. We enjoy being able to grab a glass of wine at night and a cup of coffee in the morning right in the lobby. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was clean and well maintained. However, during our stay, a worker parked beneath our room and cut tile all night long! We were up for the whole night. When reported, I was asked if I wanted to switch rooms. Really, my whole family has to switch rooms? No, we are not switching rooms! I would like the tile cutting to stop! I find it completely unacceptable that this was allowed to happen. I think, perhaps, the manager of the hotel thought that having customers on the third floor would make this acceptable. However, I heard every piece of tile cut that night and I would have appreciated the manager to come to speak to me about the incident. The cutting should have been stopped immediately! I will not return to this hotel.

Ive been here for about 3 weeks now. The location is convenient, the staff are extremely friendly and very attentive, the housekeeping crew is super good at their job and they cater to just about anything you need them to, within reason. The rooms have always been clean and the bathrooms have always been spotless. Fitness center leaves something to be desired but thats not location based to my knowledge, so I wont ding them for it.Booking here means you can enjoy your stay, not have something else to worry about. I travel for work upwards of 200 days a year. This is a very good place to stay.

The facility/accommodations were nice, clean and comfortable. The food and beverage at the bar/grill were not good the two evenings I tried it. Over cooked or not palatable hence over priced. The bar/grill also does not stay open per hours advertised and will close early. The front desk shop does has microwave frozen food available for purchase - I was sorry I did use that service.

I truly enjoyed my 3 night stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely appointed.The bed was very comfortable and I liked having a mini fridge and coffee maker in my room. I used the cafe for breakfastand light dinner everyday during my stay.
