I reserved my rental a month in advance. Paid in full with my debit card. They waited until the DAY BEFORE my pickup that I had to pay with a credit card. Despite the fact that its already PAID FOR! Therefore causing me to cancel my reservation and having to look elsewhere the day before needing to pick up a rental. Not to mention they offered me no substitute rental. Customer service was worthless, and to top it all, they tell me I have to wait for my refund which is ironic because they had no problem taking my money. If possible would give them zero stars.

Literally the worst rental return experience of my life. They accidentally charged my card (instead of a different customers) for $431.82 for damage and low fuel and admitted that the charge was in error. Then, instead of reversing the charge they apparently requested a refund. Today, someone in the office told me that they cant authorize the refund in the office and gave me an 800 number to speak with. At that number, they told me that they cant authorize a refund because the local office does not have any notes in the system. So I just spent an hour trying to get this resolved, didnt, and cant even leave a voicemail at the local office.

The Hertz on Paris Ave. in High Point, NC is an AWESOME place to rent your vehicle. We learned upsetting news about another rental agency in which they did not honor the reservation provided and rented our larger reserved vehicle to another customer. By doing so, left my cousin and I searching for another rental agency in the area at the last minute. When I say May Muhammad who is the Manager Associate CAME THREW for us, she really went out of her way to rearrange and help my cousin and I locate a larger Vehicle that we were looking for and went out of her way to make sure the smaller vehicle was exchanged for a larger vehicle. I REALLY do appreciate Mays hard work and dedication to make sure we as customers were EXTREMELY satisfied. I will DEFINITELY recommend checking them out for your rental needs. Reservation was booked for weeks for me to receive a call the day of my reservation stating that had no cars available... In the entire state!! HOW!!!!! How did you not know this before the day of my reservation?? I was told there was nothing that they can do, not even give me a same day refund so that I can still take care of my business! I called customer service, spent 5 hours on the phone with them, was hung up on by Matthew, Tatzi, & Rashennda I was also told by them as well as Mark that I could not speak with a manager. If I could give negative stars I would give a negative 5 , I am currently still on hold with the manager James going on 45 mins trying to get a solution.

Called me literally 1 minute before my reservation time to tell me they didnt have the vehicle available. Thanks Mae. Customer service tip, call the other Hertz surrounding you to see if they have availability for your customers that youre disappointing.

I cant wrap my head around some of these bad reviews. I had an excellent experience!! I called about a month before I was going to rent a vehicle. I did not sit on hold, the young lady was not rude. I received such friendly service I was actually shocked. The young lady over the phone explained the best way to reserve a vehicle and answered quite a few other questions I had. She did it without a problem. I then reserved my vehicle online and a couple of weeks later when I went to pick it up, they had it ready for the most part. They had just given the vehicle a fresh oil change, so they wanted to vacuum out the vehicle. I had to wait on it a little while, but that was not a problem. They asked if I was in a rush and had to be anywhere to be sure they were not holding me up. In my opinion, EXCELLENT service!

Hertz in High Point has great customer service. The manager John is always helpful, polite, & professional. Their vehicle inventory isnt always plentiful but they always do what they can to accommodate. Because of the great service I get from the manager, I will continue to use this location.

Calvin and Lisa are unprofessional employees. On 11/27 I had a reservation for a 10 day rental. Calvin had promised me a car that morning at 9:00 AM come to find out at 11:00 AM they didnt have anymore cars available when I called back to check the status. Lisa had mentioned not to worry that we will have you a car before 2 p.m. the whole time she seemed very aggravated. I never received a phone call this day I called back at 6 p.m. To find out that they were closed and have gone home for the day. They could have called me before 6pm out of common courtesy but I never got that call. I called the next morning which is 11/28 this morning when I called and spoke to Lisa I got a nasty attitude from her she never once said Im sorry for the inconvenience that Hertz Rental has caused my family. I was very uncomfortable speaking with them in person as well as on the phone. It seemed to me that both of them was in a bad mood of some kind. When youre dealing with the public youre supposed to be nice friendly and professional regardless of how your day is going. I have mentioned this situation to Central Mutual Insurance Company. the insurance agent that I am dealing with isnt happy about how they are treating me. Might be a good idea for Hertz Rent-a-Car to lose a corporate account for them to realize that they need to handle the public in a professional way. I hope this review gets in the right hands and gets taken care of immediately. I feel these two individuals need to be either fired or punished some kind of way for their attitudes and being unprofessional to the public.

This is a Hertz sharing space in what appears to be a smoke shop (?). They were just setting it up so well find out.They do not have an inventory of cars, they bring over what they need from another Hertz. So if you didnt specify exactly which vehicle type you wanted, theyll decide for you and theres no choice!Also, they are in the back corner of a creepy old and empty shopping center. Hours are limited.The Hertz sign is easy to miss. Im not sure if I will visit again.

Reserved a car for long distance trip, had an appointment for 230p. Arrived to find nobody at all... called the customer assistance number posted at desk with no answer. Waited another 30 minutes and they finally answered the phone and said they were out retrieving the car I had reserved and would be back in 10 minutes. Was told we would have either a Jeep Cherokee or a Jeep Compass... they come back with a Dodge Journey. They then spend the next 50 minutes vacuuming and cleaning out the car. When they finally bring it around to the front, all 4 tires have literally no tread. I am driving 12 hours away... how can you even think that is okay or even safe? She said there was a Jeep available at the Greensboro office... but they would not be able to deliver it I would have to drive the dodge with bald tires to the Greensboro location and exchange it there. Needless to say after spending 2 hours at this office I left without a car and without even one single apology from either staff. Several others waiting had similar complaints about customer service, bad car odors and service lights being on at pick up.... just save your time and money & go to Enterprise!

Too much red tape. I was allowed a rental while my car was in the shop. They expected me to put out money on a vehicle. I think the insurance company should have been responsible. Attitude seems to be a thing. If you dont like your job, quit!

Cars are filthy nasty. Returned first car on the second day because we found a roach crawling around inside. Also it had a very horrible smell. Switched out two more times because the cars we just nasty inside and out. Only used them because I was currently in a car accident and this is the place they use. Just unacceptable.

These company has been giving me the run around. I been arguing with customer service and on hold for way to long. Transferred over, and over. The location on 1000 Mall Loop Rd. in High Point failed to tell them I paid my $50 deposit in cash. I got the rental in February. I have not gotten my $50, YET. Dont Go to this unprofessional business!

They are ALWAYS late. I have rented cars from this location 2 times and each time my appointment is confirmed for 8am, but they always show up 1-2 hours late. Unprofessional. They dont even care to call to let you know that they will be late. Never rent from this location!!!! Hello, Enterprise! :)

Jeff the owner of this location wrongly charged us $100 for gas. He accused us of bringing the vehicle back to his location on empty. When we came in the building Jeff was dealing with another customer on the phone who was complaining about a charge on her card. This is very bad business, We will never use this location again.
