Was waiting for the 2022 Tucson to be released. After doing much research on what model I wanted I was excited to actually see the car in person and do a test drive. I checked online with all the dealers in my area and Advantage had the largest inventory. My sales rep Rob Sandach was so nice and very knowledgeable. He made this experience from start to finish extremely pleasant. The dealership itself is very nice and everyone we encountered throughout the process was friendly.

DO NOT GO HERE. Theyre taking advantage (ha) of customers during a pandemic, tacking on a premium of thousands of dollars on the sticker price. I understand supply & demand but they had the nerve to lie about it, promising all Hyundai and all dealerships are doing this- well I went over to Atlantic Hyundai and they were not aware of this. Bought my car through them at thousands (!) cheaper and had a much better experience. As an owner of two previous Hyundais, this dealership does not treat you like a loyal customer. Avoid if possible.

Their staffs (Brad & Rob) were very unfriendly and unprofessional. This was my 2nd visit today and it was worst than my 1st visit. They offered very low price for my car and very high interest rate for a new Tuscon since the inventory was very low. I dont understand why the Google rating is high for this place. This was my worst car dealer experience ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The best dealership I’ve leased a car from. I got a 2021 Sonata N-Line from Cesar, which was a great salesmen. No silly numbers games, no inventory shuffles, no pressure at all. Great guy all around, even texted me photos as my car was getting ready. Atlantic Hyundai played the numbers game with me last time I leased a car, this experience was so different it’s as if I went to another brand. I’d highly recommend Advantage any day, and especially so Cesar. Love my Sonata N-Line too which helps 😁 thanks again!

I called the dealership to find out what my options were and spoke with Joe. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He got me all the information I requested, and even asked his boss Steve for some guidance on things he wasnt aware of. Steve called me back later in the day and was able to explain more into my scenario and help inform me of why my trade in was valued as it was. He said I could take my time to process the information, and there was no pressure. I was shocked when it was 2 days later and I had not been bothered by the dealership I established contact with. Due to the fact that this had already been a positive experience, I decided to pay them a visit. I was introduced to Charlie who worked hard to get our deal done. I explained my budgetary restraints, and he did his best to get as close as he could. Ultimately, the only reason I accepted a deal slightly over budget was because of the integrity of the personnel I dealt with. I have dealt with many car dealerships in my life and this was the best it ever has been. When we sat with Frank in finance, we were explained all the paperwork, and delivery was only 1 hour long. I would recommend this dealership to everyone who is interested. Stress and pressure free!

Unprofessional service and false online advertisement.One of your salesman, named “Brad” is extremely rude. He literally said “take it or leave it” then went to another customer while I was seating on his desk. I’ve never experience or seen anything like this. I had to ask for another salesman. I didn’t expect this from you guys. Not just me my dad was disappointed after experiencing all that.I don’t know his full name. He’s white, mid 50s I guess. Good luck!

Meanwhile a bunch of salesman walking around talking amongst each other ignoring the fact that there was a customer waiting . Very uncomfortable atmosphere also . Not recommend at all . Giving 1 star because I cant give 0. This is the absolute worst dealership I have ever seen. We leased our second Hyundai from them a few weeks ago, and it has an issue with a crackling noise coming from the speakers. We have taken it into the service center 5 times in the past 3 weeks. They fiddle with the car for a few hours and tell us its fixed. We go back to pick up the car only to drive it for 5 minutes and realize the issue hasnt been fixed at all. Will never purchase another car or lease with them again.

My first experience with Advantage Hyundai in 2016 was fantastic. The pricing was straight forward and the attention provided to explain all of the vehicles features was spot on. I wish I had the same salesman the second time around. It was that first salesman that forced me to give Advantage Hyundai 3 stars. If not for him, I would have given Advantage Hyundai NO stars.My second experience with this dealership in 2021 was terrible. I was upfront with the salesman. I knew the price I was willing & able to pay and I was willing to take a new 2020 in order to meet that price. The salesman tried to pull a fast one and upped the price that he showed me by 2,800.We ended up coming to an agreement, but it wasnt pretty. The salesman actually had the nerve to scold me. I guess he never learned that a bird in hand is better than none. And, none is exactly what he would have gotten because I never would have agreed to the price he tried slip in. Shameful.

Everything was great until I picked my car up. My driver side mirror was cracked. My car did not arrive like that but they made it seem as if it did. Someone even put it down on a before examination sheet. That was really messed up. I put my trust in you guys to do honest work. That was not honest. Luckily I was in a very good mood and didnt pursue damages. But that mood had faded when I realized later that I have to fix someone elses screw up yet again.

We purchased a new vehicle in 2017 a Tuscan. Our salesperson was Brianna, what an exceptional person she was as she was there every step of the way. For the first time in my life I was not duped or taken advantage of.We have recently been looking for a 2021 palisade and who did I go to, Brianna once again. Since we are all wearing masks nowadays she recognized my wife by her eyes after more than 3 years. This is an extremely hard car to find and she did everything to get my wife into the car she dreamed of. I have bought 8 new cars over my life span and she was the absolute best salesperson I have ever dealt with.The whole experience was exceptional. In several months we will be purchasing another car for my daughter. The quality of Hyundai and Brianna keeps us coming back.3/14/2021The only thing that stinks is my kids keep wanting to drive our Palisade.

After years of loyalty, both my son and I are moving our business to a company that demonstrates truthfulness and some sort of customer service. My complaint was ignored. Even after Corporate got involved...no response. Shame on our salesperson and the finance dept. My rating is ZERO, but forced to give one star to be posted.ADDING to my review after receiving the ROBO RESPONSE below. My problem has NOT BEEN RESOLVED! 12 email/phone calls in total to Charlie(sales),Frank(finance),Jon(GM). Filed official complaints with HYUNDAI FINANCE, TRANS AMERICA, HYUNDAI CORPORATE AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Advantage Hyundai refused to write the simple letter, as recommended by Corporate. I leased a car here after debating other brands and dealerships, but liked the promise of service at this Dealership, as well as how I was treated by the salesmen. Steve Kramer took care of me, and I appreciated a fairly hassle-free experience. He also gave me plenty of advice about the car model itself, explained safety features, and more throughout the process. Overall he was very helpful and I appreciated the customer care. My dealings with a young man in finance were also very favorable; he didnt push for excessive coverages and had some good jokes as well! I felt comfortable, which is important when making such a large investment.My service experience recently was a little lengthier than I expected it to be, but the employees were friendly and straightforward with their information.Overall, I would definitely recommend Advantage Hyundai to anyone!

Stay Away! All missing in action when you have a problem! Ive been a long time customer of this dealership. Weve leased 3 cars to date and purchased a brand new 2018 Elantra for my daughter. Youd figure with all the business they would treat their customers better. I am currently into a lease of a 2020 Kona. With only 5k miles, it somehow needs a new engine. Theyve had it in their shop for 7 weeks to date with no ETA on repair. We practically had to beg for a loner and got one with a slow leak in one of the tires which needs air added every week. They are all nice when you go in and you are looking to get a lease or purchase but when there’s a problem with the car, No one calls you back. Tried calling to speak to anyone in management and have been completely ignored. Called my sales rep Charlie, said he would call back. We waited three weeks to hear from him. Called him back again, said hed look into it and get back in 10 minutes, 24 hours later, still waiting for that call back. Take your business somewhere else where they actually value and support their customers. This place isnt it. Owner, Dont bother with the auto response about Sorry about your experience, please call us at... because guess what, no one will call back.

Probably the best hyundai dealership ever for servicing your car. Made an appointment over the phone, came in, the advisor came to ring me up in my car. Very disappointed. Bought my first Hyundai in 2002 have owned a hyundai for over 20 years. I am now leasing one, brought my car in for oil change and was told that since I brought it in previously too soon(not the required 7,000 miles) I would be charged for this service, I asked the service person why wasnt I told this at previous time, and felt I was being charge unfairly, then told to get the free oil change I had to bring it back at 14,000 miles, not wanting to go another 7,000 miles without an oil change, I paid for this oil change and was assured that when I brought it back at 14,000 miles I would be back on schedule. Also we noticed that my inspection was due next month so I said go ahead and do it now so I wouldnt have to return in August, when car was returned I noticed Inspection was NOT done, obviously at this point, not happy, and to upset to confront service, I just left.

Disappointed with the service department. I have brought my car in twice since purchasing a new vehicle in September 2020. Both times was due to low tire pressure/slow leak caused by a nail in my tire. I had made a 9AM appointment and, based on my first experience, anticipated the wait would be a while. It is now 4:30PM and the work on my car just began after I called twice to find out when it would be ready to be picked up. 7.5 hours (and counting...) to patch a tire and perform an oil change? What was the point of making an appointment? I am also being told it will cost $33 per tire which I could have had done at an auto shop for $10. Their 3rd party bank, Fifth Third, is an absolute nightmare. The app is archaic and it is near impossible to simply sign online to make a standard payment without complications. I love my Hyundai but am underwhelmed by the service Ive received.

We recently bought our Hyundai Palisade from Advantage Hyundai. Our sales consultant was Brad Jacobs who we found to be friendly and knowledgeable and he helped us throughout the buying process. Brad was patient in answering all our questions and helped to find the right car with the specs that we wanted. Our finance manager was Prescott Weeks who finalized the pricing and the overall deal with us. He was transparent with all the prices involved and helped to finalize a deal that worked for us. Overall a great buying experience!

This dealership WAS the best! I travelled over 50 miles just for the customer service. Told everybody about it. Posted on social media about it. Family bought cars from them. But as faces changed so did the customer care. Being charged while youre covered under warranty. Hospitality turned into just another dollar. Just changed completely. Calls dont get returned for days. And this is the straw that broke the camels back. Was approved for a new engine. Brought my car in to begin the work and given a loaner. Called me a few days later that Corporate Office changed the criteria for replacing new engines AFTER I brought the car in. When can you come get your car? Excuse me??? I was already approved! I am beyond disgusted at the insensitivity, lack of professionalism and the dishonesty! I have filed a complaint with Corporate Office and the BBB. Shame on Hyundai!!

I purchased a brand new 2021 car from here, and Rob Sendach was the sales person.I thought he was aggressive, and not clear on the price and information. There was definitely a disconnect between Rob and the finance department. The information & price didnt match, and the overall process was excruciating long where it took more than 5 hours for the car delivery and signing the paperwork. Rob also failed to submit the appropriate information to my car insurance company. Im still waiting on the registration from the DMV, and Im concerned Rob didnt manage the paperwork properly as agreed. He also put on the paperwork that the car had 13 miles when the car really had 16 miles, and gave us an attitude when we inquired about it.I left a constructive review to say that they can improve on overall organizational process & communication. Few minutes after leaving the review, Rob Sendach called me screaming and asking me how I dare leave him a negative review (even though his name was not mentioned). He yelled the whole time and called me a backstabber, and tried to bully me changing my review. I let the situation go after I spoke to his manager. It seems this is their standard of customer service, as the same happened to my friends colleague who also purchased a car from this dealership. She was screamed at & bullied into changing her review.Over the weekend, I went to the dealership to get my car cleaned as its a free service with buying the car, (which I wasnt able to get as they change the time by limiting the hours for car cleaning), I bumped into Rob. Once he recognized me, he proceeded to yell at me again, saying Im a backstabber and threatened to repossess my car in front of other customers and workers.To say that Im shocked and appalled with Robs level customer service is an under statement. Robs attitude was extremely aggressive, inappropriate and inexcusable. I never thought I would get harassed in a place of business by their employee. I feel extremely uncomfortable going there for any of the services offered with the purchase of my car because Im concerned I will get harassed or bullied by Rob again. I strongly discourage anybody from going there if they want good customer service.

The features that our new Palisade has are very cool and futuristic. Plus free maintenance, and blue link for three years is a great addition to every deal. Ive used Advantage twice now for my daughters 2013 Elantra GT. Both times I felt I was treated fairly, the customer service was excellent and the work was very good. The steering bushing was replaced on the power steering the first time and two years later a full brake replacement was done the second time. The prices are competitive with other service centers but exceed most places in customer service. Theyre my first choice for service.

I am a real customer, I do not work for Hyundai, and I have no personal ties to Advantage Hyundai of Hicksville, NY.I find it odd seeing my own words before my eyes when I say that I had an incredibly positive car leasing experience at this dealership. Throughout the history of time and the invention of the automobile and car dealerships, really, how many times has anyone actually ever said that?! Can’t be many, right?!I credit the majority of our positive experience to the salesman we worked with: his name is Noman Basit, I highly recommend asking for him if he’s available.From the moment we walked through the door and asked to work with someone who has a high customer satisfaction and is known not to play games, Noman was direct with us, played no games and treated our family with respect. Noman was professional, understood our boundaries and available resources, and worked within them. When it came time to picking up the new car we decided to lease, Noman personally assisted with moving some personal items from the leased car I was returning to the new one. I’ve leased many cars, and experienced many lazy discourteous salespeople — Noman was the opposite of that and went above and beyond, and like I said, he’s mainly the reason we decided to lease with Advantage Hyundai despite the car we chose not having a key feature we had been looking for.I’d also like to point out, that the GM of the dealership who we never met, and unfortunately don’t know his/her name, was instrumental in this extremely positive experience. The GM is the person who ultimately made the fair and competitive offer that was too good to pass up. I want to say thank you for helping us to get into a vehicle we would not have otherwise been able to get into had you not met us halfway and it’s because of the no hassle compromises on both sides of the deal that we became customers of Advantage Hyundai.Lastly, I was told that our car gets free car washes for the entire length of our lease, no appointment needed, just drop by. We have yet to test this out, I hope it’s true, and I wanted to mention it because I thought that was a really cool perk of choosing this dealership over say one that doesn’t offer that.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I wish you much luck in your car buying/leasing adventure. Many years ago this dealership offered top notch service. Now that the older generation has moved on, this particular dealership is not what it used to be. You now have predatory advisors who try to swindle customers out of their money. Warning: Today it was me, tomorrow it will be you. Advantage Hyundai, definitely takes advantage of ripping customers off. They will double charge you if you dont know any better. Beware!!!! The Cashier and the Advisors are in kahoots together. They share the commission. They plot against you, and when you ask for a manager, the manager is never available at this location. When you call, all of your calls are forwarded to the same advisor who ripped you off. Scare tactic! Proceed with caution! If you ever have a problem at this location just know whomever is operating the switchboard will send you to the same advisor who screwed you over. They will not allow you to speak with a manager or the director. They play a lot of games here! An advisor shouldnt have the power to strongarm paying customers. Everything will come out in the open. 👎👎👎

I am currently on hold, trying to get information about my vehicles warranty after it wont start. They transferred me to voicemail each time. Now, the operator sees my number and just sends me right to hold.All I am looking to do is inquire about the car they sold me. I cant even talk to someone to get them to look up my information in the system. I literally had to download an alternate phone number to call in so the operator would even pick up. If you want customer service that even slightly slightly cares about you after they take your money look elsewhere. My car likely will need to be replaced and it now will not be from this dealership. If I could give lower then 1 star I would.

To Mr. J. Stern. Your office managers are deceiving your loyal customers. Today, I was getting a new lease. The selling price and the residual value of the car was negotiated and agreed, as well as the out of pocket expense: 1st pmnt and DMV fees. If these variables are set then the final lease payment is determined by the finance terms. I spent half a day changing my insurance, preparing current lease for return, only to find out at lease signing that the selling price changed up $900. When asked, they told me it is another fee. Hidden fee? $900 at 5:30pm on Sunday? How is that not mentioned on the quote when all was decided? I was literally forced into signing the agreement with a different selling price with all the time spent...told in a face that had to make money on me! Scam! Hope it will be looked at...

Went into Advantage on strong recommendation from friend., she still has yet to fail me. I called Charlie Valvano day before planning to go I told him what we were interested in. He had the cars available when we arrived. After we test drove the cars we sat and talked about what we like and didnt like on each vehicle. We decided on the 2020 Tucson SEL 2.4L. in Aqua Blue. Then Charlie worked with us on a lease plan we could afford. Day of pick up car was ready to drive away all we had to do is meet Finance Manager (Prescott Weeks) another great member of Advantage. After going thru a Nissan lease that took hours and days we were expecting a S**t show, did not happen. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO LEASE OR BUY ANY CAR GO TO ADVANTAGE HYUNDAI in Hickville FIRST. Highly recommend !!!
