I had gotten into a fender bender on the highway and was unfortunate enough to have had my car taken to Bills towing. This company is making a fortune off of other peoples misery. Just to top off their prices, they have an additional $125 just to allow someone else to tow it off their property. They will gladly keep the car and discount you the $125, making you feel that wow they saved you a buck but in reality they just took a bunch of money from you and they kept your car. Moreover if you want someone to take it off their property, it has to be another one of these Island tow companies with medallion, Which I will assume is either part of their company or have deep connections with.They must also have deep ties with the local police which are quick to dispatch Bills towing and it seems that is the only place they call.I give huge credit to this elaborate business. They have thought things through in detail. They provide a flawless service, but at a huge and unreasonable cost.

He has rules and regulations no other tow company has he closes the yard at 4 so he can charge more fees. I went in and paid with a card due to surgery I could not go back and wanted them to charge the same card. They did not know how to do it. The had no cash app or zell.they close early on Saturdays and are closed on Sunday but charge for these days too. He could not explain why the tow truck picking it up had to have a medallion. A non crotchety business man would have offered to have his truck move the vehicle to the next destination

Went through the Geico app and they set me up with bills towing. Came with in20 min to my location and my car was delivered quickly to the repair show. Driver was friendly and efficient.

I had no choice but to use Bills Towing services because I got into an accident and the police called them. They are very dishonest with billing and try to extort as much money from people in distress. The distance from the highway to the shop was 1 mile and it shouldve costed me $8.50 according to DOT regulations but instead they charged me SEVEN times that amount. When I asked them about it they said the insurance will reimburse you that amount They have been in business since 1971, so about 5O years of cheating people. I would stay clear of this business.

My wife and I were involved in an accident and the state trooper called them to tow my car. They promptly came to take it, and two days later when my garage attempted to move my car to their facility, they tried to charge me 800 dollars to release it! They were rude to me and to my father in-law when we tried to communicate with them. I highly recommend steering CLEAR of these people!

Needed my Corvette to be towed to dealership. We were very nervous. They came with a flat bed . They were punctual, the guy who came was very friendly and careful with my car. My grandsons and I watched him load the car and at the end waved good bye to my grandsons. This was so nice since my grandsons are both 3 and 1 and were concerned why he was taking their “Grandpa’s race car”—-definitely would recommend

I got stuck on Memorial Day (today) and the woman who picked up was very nice and very quick to get me a driver, she also gave me a very reasonable price which was so nice because I was paying out of pocket not through insurance. the driver showed up within 15 mins and was very nice and quick with getting my car to the destination. definitely happy with my experience thank you!

On-time & very professional, I was hesitant at first to ride in the truck but to my surprise it was very clean. Kudos to the driver Rayvon for not causing any damages to my car since it was located in a tough location. I would definitely recommend Bills Towing.

Im starting my own landscaping company after graduating from school and I bought an old dump truck that has seen better days. I had to get it inspected and I knew that it would not pass. I expected to sell a kidney to get it all fixed up, that was not the case! They took great care of my truck for less than half of what I expected to pay! Bruce made sure everything worked and explained it to me and when Id have to get stuff fixed. Joe was the mechanic and he explained everything again. Theyre awesome!

Nice guys for a towing service, didnt give a hard time and gave me a day grace period to get down there free of charge. More tow companies should be like these guys, they deserve every bit of the business they get.

Horrible....... I would give a zero star review if possible. Not only was the person rude on the phone but this person gave a starting rate that was 300+ for a tow less than 15 miles away. Then did not disclose full information on what he was charging me for. He hung up in the middle of our conversation. After calling back he said he would need more money if I wanted him to come for a tow. Adding more and more fees than his first price stated before. Once more he hung up after saying that it’s my own problem and refusing to pick me up, leaving me stranded on the side of the highway. One of the most disrespectfull businesses I’ve ever dealt with. A lack of better word I would describe these people as liars and thieves. Instead of helping and growing their business they try to take as much money from me as possible in such a disrespectful manner. My advice if your looking for a tow is to find another towing company.

I was recently involved in a car accident in a State parkway. I was told by the officer I could not drive my car so he called Bills Towing. They ended up putting over $500 in unauthorized towing charges that my insurance wouldnt cover because they were not NY State regulated fees which is what theyre supposed to be charging if towing from a State parkway!! The thieves refused to take them off or even bargain them down in price! I had no choice of towing company to choose otherwise I wouldnt have picked this thieves or driven myself home if I could have!!

Came and helped me tow my car and they took us to a safe location so that the kids can use the restroom until AAA came. Very greatful for that..

This is by far the absolute worst towing company Ive ever dealt with. The women at the desk is itching for an argument, very rude and disrespectful. The only thing these hacks are looking to do is rip you off and take your money. You can tell the caliber of folks they are by the big Hells Angels picture in their office. Their equipment is old and decrepit, they take your car to a lot 25 min away so they make you wait 50 min to pic your car up. This is a prime example of a corrupt group of thugs and thifes with county contracts.

I recently got stuck on in the last snow storm and called Bills to get me out of a really slippery and dangerous situation. The dispatcher was very courteous. She told me they would be responding in about 5 minutes. I couldnt believe it, they actually came down in 5 minutes.. The Tow truck guy was extremely polite and helpful. Thank you Bills.

Extremely punctual, it wasnt a long wait for the tow truck to arrive. My car had front end damage and the guy was extremely gentile when putting my car on the lift. The prices were very reasonable. I keep their card in my wallet god for bid something ever happens, I will never call another tow truck place.

They were a life saver this past weekend. My engine had seized up on me and I was stuck in the middle of nowhere! I found these guys via google and called. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time and towed my car to the nearest mechanic which was a few miles away. Me trying to push the car that far?! Wasnt happening LOL. My car would have still been there on the side of the road to this day if it wasnt for these guys! Now Im back on the road and on my way to work as usual :)

The lady that answers the phone, and sits behind the desk is rude and enept. I called to find out what the impound fees before I came to pick up my car. She refused to tell me over the phone. So when I went there, she tells me the total.. I asked her twice, and said debit ok twice.. when I go to hand her the card, she tells me CASH ONLY. She then suggested that I use the ATM at the seven eleven.Needless to say the fees and storage were astronomically extorbiant, and I wasnt able to get that kind of cash from the local atm. Sooo, shes gonna charge another $75 because the car now has to stay until Monday bc they dont work weekends ( lucky them).. I see why the county contracts tgem, but they wouldnt get my business by choice.. avoid them if possible..

Totally ripoff .... Stupid dispatcher doesnt talk about the total cost of service, but he will print the receipt and hand over to driver. Even the driver doesnt tell the cost and when u reach the destination, he gon give the printed receipt which shows total cost. Thats not how business grow, all u care about getting people money ... People if ur reading this review, start looking for other towing company. Dont waste ur money and time.

I got stuck in Levittown last snow storm, I called Bills in Hicksville and they were there in 15 Minutes. My battery died, wasnt able to jump it but their emergency road side service had a replacement for me and I was on my way 30 minutes later.Thanks BillsTom Donovan

Fast and friendly and know what there doing

I dont have anything less then one star for them or l will rate them less then that. My work truck broke down l called this bill towing services the guy told me its $200 per hour first of all he showed up in about one hour second my destination wasnt even 45 minutes away and when he reached there he gave me a bill for over$500 when l asked him what is that for he said they gonna charge for the time from port to port so when he left his compound and till he gets back with his truck he is gonna charge me for all that time. We are still negotiating the price and l went to get my phone from my car in the meantime this guy ran with my truck to his compound now we were trying to call him and he wont even pick up his phone. Next day we had to pay the storage fee on top of it too.

Criminals.....they verbally abused my friends 85 year old mother who is handicapped....All about the money...STAY AWAY
