Shop around before you buy here.... I did a State Farm Internet quote for home owners and car insurance. I contacted them to purchase the insurance. They came back to me with additional $40 a month. When I asked them several times about the reason for the additional cost, they couldnt give me a straight answer about the additional money. When I contacted other State Farm agencies with the same quote, some actually reduced my payment without changing the policy. Needless to say I went with a different agency.
