Upon asking what I wanted done, I was told that would cost too much money insinuating I couldnt afford it..it was $72 dollars. The girl never did anything 2 my cuticles n as u can c n the picture did not do the ombre look that I requested. Never goin bak

The ladys were rude and unprofessional. The older lady cut me and decided to put nail polish over it. My gel manicure was messy. I would save your money and go somewhere else

Beware of the prices!!! Pedicure $60 and if you want gel polish it’s $20 more. You would think if your getting their highest treatment $$$ pedi it would come with gel or at least a more reasonable price.

I have been going to Five Star Nail & Spa for over 5 years now. The owner Nelly is very nice and always accommodating. It is busy at time so I do recommend making an appointment. I love Tammy she is efferent and always patient with me and my crazy nail design requests. I use Pinterest a lot for nail ideas and she’s always quick to comply or create her own. Definitely Five Star Nail & Spa is 5 stars. One of the best in the area!

They were quick and did a great job. The massage and scrub on the feet and calves was spot on. Well worth the pamper moment to relax. Only thing they they might improve is wiping down chairs and armrests when you have several employees sitting around. But was a great experience

First time here getting a pedicure. Very disappointed!!! Wanted white velvet nail polish, and the lady didnt even know how to paint nails. The lady also cut my toe. Ugh!!! Was their for over an hour. Left, and still had me pay for half of a pedicure $22. Will NEVER go back.

I am visiting from out of town. This is a nice place and was recommended by a friend. The service was quick and professional. The gentleman who provided my pedicure did a thorough job with the foot scrub and callous removal. The gel manicure was just as meticulously executed. The massage could have been better and longer. The World Cup was playing on the TVs. Not very spa-like. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been in but I’ve never had a bad experience! The manager and staff are nice and I love the atmosphere. Their prices seem about the same anywhere you go. The convenience of the location is perfect for me and my family. They do get busy but that must tell you something about 5 Star nails, they are obviously good! I’ve had nails, pedicures, eyebrow wax, eyelashes extensions all done here, next I’d like to try their skin care and get a facial really soon! I recommend 5 Star nails!

I always go to Lee. He is simply amazing, always fits me in appointment or not, he knows what I like, I dont even have to ask. They know me by name, they are happy, friendly, always with a smile.

The lady was very nice except for when i put my feet on the chair and she grabbed them and moved them off but other than that she was very sweet. The actually job though was what upset me. I went to get my eyebrows done and the lady completely ruined them. My eyebrows have no arch or shape what so ever and one of them is curving while the other is just completely straight. I’m very frustrated

Have been going here for a very long time and they seem to get better and better. Service has always been friendly and employees are great. I have been with the same nail tech for about 6 months and Tina is great, her work is beautiful. All I do is find a pic of what I want and she creats it. It is a little pricey but well worth it! Its a good place to go if youre in need of treatment and want efficient service. I prefer smaller/intimate nail salons (they do accept appointments). The staff are pleasant as well!

This is by far, my favorite nail salon throughout the high desert. Pedicures ALWAYS ROCK. Lynn and Kathryn are great, and I havent ever needed to try anyone else. Lynn always is available for an appointment. Walk ins welcomed too. Price is right, and the treatments always are awesome. You wont be disappointed, unless of course you cant get Lynn ;).

Had an appointment with Kent and he called out for the day. Had someone else do my nails and they did a horrible job. I called them to let them know and they advised I come back the next day. The whole point of scheduling an appointment with a specific person was to get in and out due to my busy schedule. I took pictures and videos of my nails and there is plenty of bare white nails. This is inconvenient as they don’t care and you will be spending more time.

My nail tech and my daughters were very sweet and patient. My daughter is only 1 and 1/2. They did a good job! The receptionist/lady at front desk when I was there was rude so dont be surprised if that happens.

Ive been going there for about 7 months. I always ask for Heidi. Shes excellent and fast. Everyone there is friendly. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that its small and congested because they are always busy which is a good thing. Prices are competitive.

I wont be coming back, came in to get old set removed and new set on, the guy broke my own nail and made me bleed pretty good. I didnt get an Im sorry or are you ok? he just kept going and when I pointed out the blood he said accidents happen...he did a new set and they were so crooked!!!! I was so disappointed!!!! Still had to pay $41 for crooked nails, cause he couldnt fix them and for making me bleed!! :/

The polish job and clean-up of the acrylic nails was lack-luster @best.The tech cut my girls cuticles like 12 times.Too rough.They were starting to bleed.Also the nail tech started saying rude things about my girls in vietnamese to eachother because one of my girls told her ouch and they lied abt havng the supplies to do the job whn clearly the product was sitting on the table.Theres more but you get the idea.We wont be going back!

I gave 2 stars because they allowed me inside and and have a seat in the waiting area BUT left me there while they service all that came in after me. Im not sure why the ugly service, Never have I experienced such rude behaviour.

I used to get my nails done here all the time, the only one who seemed to be able to do my nails was Heidi. And than she disappeared and no longer seem to work there. But luckily I found her working st the nail salon in Walmart. She was fired for accusations of talking poorly about other clients, i my best friend and her mother get our nails done by Heidi and she has never spoken illy about anyone. Anyways I am a loyal client to Heidi and without her that place has no one that knows how to properly do a manicure.

This was my first time to this particular shop. Upon initial inspection very clean and inviting. Very polite excellent customer service, there is a little wait time because it is a popular nail salon, however they will do an excellent job on your nails feet or hands love it will go back and I will refer my worst enemies to this shop... yes they are just that good.

They are relatively fast BUT expect to pay extra for everything they do. A la carte style pricing. Things that should be included in the price arent, whereas everywhere else you go it would have been included.

They dont seem to like dealing with the customers. The phone was constantly ringing and they seemed irritated by having to speak to the person. They were also very rude to people coming in without an appointment. One couple even ended up walking out. I havent been back since that time and i would not recommend it to anyone else since they want to pick and choose who they are nice to. Not to mention they are extremely overpriced.

My nails are crooked, un-buffed, chipping not even 5 minutes after I leave the salon and the guy who did my nails cut my finger from buffing to hard. Never coming back.

I went in for a mani/peti and i left with only a pedicure because I could not stand to be around the employees a second longer. They had a very condescending attitude and blatantly gave hateful looks. She was very aggressive in her work and the pedicure I received was actually painful despite how many times I asked her to be more gentle. I will never return here.

I Asked For Black With A Pumpkin (Trying To Be Festive) I Asked For Tips Black And She Said Okay Then Asked Me Of I Wanted A Silver Line And I Said Sure Thinking Ehh Itll Add A Little Shine. This Lady Gave Me A Gold Line Along My Tips Which Was Crooked And Then She Gave Me An Orange Circle With A Circle Inside Of It..Definitely NOT A Pumpkin..I Wasnt Too Upset Because At Least She Tried Until She Walked Away And Started Working On Another Employee There And Having Her Coworkers Come Look At How Awful She Did As They Sit In A Circle And Laugh At Me. She Knew She Messed Up But Instead Of Asking If We Could Do Something Else Or Retrying She Got The Whole Salon To Laugh At My Ugly Design. THEN She Charged Me Almost Double Knowing How Awful She Did. Not To Mention All The Laws That Were Being Broken When I Went In There. State Board Would Shut Them Down So Quickly. I Was Truly Disgusted At Their Shop And The Employees. Never Returning Again. Best Of Luck To Whoever Tries Out This Place I Hope They Treat You Better Than They Treated Me!

The owner or manager of this place discriminates you, if you dont look like her regulate clients (White and wealthy) and no im not saying that the customers in there looked mean or stuck up they looked like nice people but the owner made me feel unexistent . I was the ONLY brown skin there at that time. I walk in she never said hi to me and by the time ive to pay she never took the time to tell me how much it was i had to hand over the money to her never said thank you to me. I said thank you she never answer because she was welcoming someone else, someone who fit her regular customer profile. Anyways I think she was rude and they should welcome anyone even if all you do is getting a cheap $22 pedi. I dont like to complain I have worked as a customer service rep. And know what it is to deal with rude customers and I tried not to be one of them. I dont recommend this place unless you fit their high end profile.

I would lIke to start this review by saying how much I LOVE this place for nails! But you have to ask for Lisa, and if you have to wait so be it, she is the best! I give her 5 stars!My first experience here was great. I came for a gel mani with my friend, and we were seated promptly (next to each other so we could chat) and handed a GIANT set of color samples! I picked a light Tiffany blue color, and a pretty silver sparkle for an accent nail. Lisa was so gentle and sweet, and really took her time. I personally love getting my nails done, and hate when I feel like I am being rushed through to the next customer. There was none of that with Lisa. She did a spectacular job, and was very precise. I believe it was $30 for a gel mani, and I gave her a hefty tip because I was so pleased with my nails!I went back two weeks later, and requested Lisa specifically. I went in right before they closed on Sunday (they close at 5, I had no idea), yet she still took THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME on my nails as before, even though she should have been off by then! How amazing, right!? I think I ended up leaving at 5:20 (we started at 4:45). She did have to remove my previous gel mani so it took a bit longer. Again, it was only $30, but I did tip her about 30% for staying after she was off and doing such a great job.Now, the third time... I went with a friend. It was a bit busy, but we wanted to sit next to each other so we waited about 25 minutes. I couldnt be picky with who my tech was, but wasnt too worried (Lisa was in the middle of a mani/pedi). When we finally got seated, my tech wasnt even ready. My friends tech started soaking her nails, while I waited. No big deal, they were busy. At least we got to talk. Then, about 5 minutes later, I was asked to move 3 isles away from my friend to sit at another station! Well, there goes any chit chat we were planning on having. I was quickly sat down and soaked with water (lukewarm/cool, no product). She did the normal cuticle cream, push back, and cut, but then only filed the nails on my right hand... Not my left. She didnt even ask what shape I wanted. When she put the base coat on, it over lapped my cuticles, and she did the same with the polish (on most of them. Oddly, she did a better job on the hand she filed than the one she didnt).I was all done in about 15 minutes. Literally fastest gel mani of my life. I still had to wait for my friend to be done for about 10 minutes after me, and she started 5 minutes before I did! She got a 30 minute mani and mine was half that time. Not cool. Her mani still wasnt as good as Lisas, but a hell of a lot better than mine.In conclusion, I would just play it safe and stick with Lisa. And stay away from holidays and weekends! I will continue to go to this place as long as I can see her. Tip her well and keep coming back! And if you have any issues or like your nails a certain way just let her know, Im sure she will have no problem with it. Go Lisa!EDIT: 2 days later and all the polish on my left hand has curled up and peeled off at places (where she overlapped my cuticle). Right hand still looks okay, although my thumb is starting to lift at the edge. Lisas mani lasted me 2 weeks until I saw her again, and Ive had other shops last me as much as 3! But two days!?!? I wish I got the techs name. Horrible.
