So far so good. Replaced a dying CVT transmission in our 2012 Outback with a low mileage transmission. Saved us a bundle from using a rebuilt Subaru transmission. Ill let you know in a year, but after a month, we are good.

They did a wonderful job fixing what some called it basket case. Backyard mechanic did a real number on it and left it disassembled. Atech towed it in for me and was able to put it all back together and had it running like new! Thanks atech!

The guy here told me several times I had nothing wrong with my transmission. Eventually my transmission blew up. Come to find out, if they had just taken my transmission apart, they would have noticed I had a bad bearing. So instead of paying $65 for the bearing + labor, Im now paying $6000 for a new transmission and the labor to have it installed. I suggest anyone who reads these reviews, really reconsider coming here to invest your time and money. Do research and find a quality and reputable transmission shop with better reviews.

This place is awesome even when I screw up not double checking my car that I figured my transmission got screw up in all along was just the radiator cap.This people didnt charge me anything at the end and thanks for there honesty business.Hope I never had to fix my transmission but if I end up needing it will definitely take it to this guys.

I dont remember who I dealt with but these guys came highly recommended, so I took my 4x4 van transmission to them. They did a full rebuild for a reasonable price and had it done in 2 days!When I put the trans back in my van I screwed up the pump. I went 26 miles and lost all the trans fluid. So I took it out and brought it back to them. I had a pretty good feeling it was my fault and I told them the problems I had installing it.They only had to replace a couple things (pump, ect.) but the trans had to be completely disassembled to get all of the metal out. Not only did they have it back to me the next day, they didnt charge me any labor, just parts, and said thanks for the honesty!If you guys at A-Tech read this, thank you very much! This was the LEAST I could do.Chris

Mine was a manual transmission problem. Lead man Paul gave me an estimate of eight hours work to diagnose and repair the problem. Said they would do their best to do it in less time if possible. In the end, they were able to successfully diagnose and repair the problem in about (half) the original estament time. Problem solved. Thanks guys.

My experience was horrible took my 1995 dodge ram 3500 in for a transmission rebuild and when I got my truck back I noticed that something was different so I look under my hood and they stole parts of my motor so went back and talked to the owner John to try and give him a chance to make things right and he told me no way so I asked him if his shop had cameras he said yes every bay has cameras except the bay where my truck was worked on. I am now fileing with automotive better business beuro and I will be filling a police report . Do not take your vehicle to them

I called on Nov 13th at 8am to talk to the shop about low transmission fluid. Paul told me to bring it in so he can look at it. On the 14th, I took it in at approx 4pm. No one was at the counter. I started saying hello and eventually a mechanic came out and asked if I was leaving it. I told him I spoke to Paul and he told me to bring it in. I was told to wait since Paul was on a test drive. A few minutes past and a man enters at the rear of the building in the office area swearing and having a temper tantrum. I come to find this is Paul and after he apologizes, asks how he can help me. I explain my fluid was low and I wanted to get it checked out. He said he would be unable to look at it because it was too late in the day and no bays were open. I asked when I could bring it in and he said any other time but 4pm and I should call if that is the only time I could be there. Paul has someone put transmission fluid in it. I bring it back at 11:30 on the 19th. Paul asks if I am leaving it there (I was going to wait) and then said to bring it in at 8am if I want him to look at it on the spot. I told him I was taking it elsewhere which was the place next door. Auto Wrench looked at and said nothing was leaking. This was done under 10 minutes.

My wife and I are from out of town. We were referrred to Atech from another automotive shop. We feel so fortunate we ended up here. We had a problem with our transmission and we figured we would be spending a week in a hotel and $2000 on a new transmission. A few hundred dollars and a couple hours later we had our vehicle back. The honest guys at Atech took such good care of us.

I was told that I had a transmission leak just before Thanksgiving by a couple places. After asking for recommendations ATech was the place. Although Paul kept telling me that he couldnt guarantee anything-everything that he couldnt guarantee was guaranteed and what was estimated at $1200 turned out to only cost just under $300. Thanks to the guys at Atech!

These people are crooks! My husband took our Dodge Ram into their shop to have some seals and fluid replaced. He was in Hesperia for his mothers funeral, and started having trouble on the way there. Since we live some 500 miles north, this is a big deal. When he picked up the truck it was very obvious something was wrong- the transmission fluid was ATF when we need manual, and it was over filled. He spoke to the manager, and he swore he watched his mechanic do the work and only gave us a refund on the extra fluid. Tim made it to Bakersfield before he started having problems...they didnt change any of the seals, so the transfer case has no fluid. There jerks charged us over $400, and then just moved the truck so it looked like they did something with it! I have already spoken to our credit card company and will be taking other steps as well. Stay away from these people.

I would like 2 say how thankful I am for A TECH. I had a problem with tranny lines. Others quoted me different quotes and couldnt get 2 my car until next week. Well A Tech fixed my car on the spot. Their not only friendly and awesome. But they saved me alot of $$. Thank you A Tech. Ill definitely use you in the future.

Man they want to arm and a leg for a transmission job its best just to buy a used car theyre going to charge you anywhere from $1,900 to $2,500 thats ridiculous Im not saying that there transmission rebuilt isnt good Im saying the price basically all you got to do add another $1,000 to it and get you a nice used car

A-Tech has provided transmission service on my vehicles for many years now. I have always received the absolute best service and trust them without reserve. Recently my 1999 Dodge B 3500 Ram Wagon lost its tranny in San Bernardino. John offered to stay late if needed to receive the vehicle. The vehicle ended up needing the trans rebuilt which was done quickly and at a fair price. A cable linkage needed to be adjusted and this was done without complaint. A-Tech has plenty of customer parking which includes two ADA spaces right in front. When my vehicles have been if for service or repair, theyve been kept in a secured lot to the rear of the property. I am grateful that A-Tech Trans is in the high desert and provides such good service!

I talked to them several times, told them my dilemma and they really worked around my budget, I asked them to give a heads up before doing any work and they did. The price was little higher than I imaged, but it was fair for the work they did. They gave me a 18 month warranty on a transfer case rebuild, they also cleaned and serviced my trans mission, and replaced some components at my request. Its been years, but I just referred these folks and I saw some negative reviews with skeptical validity in my mind. Top notch shop, they rebuilt the back half off my Vette drivetrain some years back and there was a little leak afterwards, seems the tech used the wrong sealant for the fluid perhaps? Anyway, right in front of me the owner or manager (Paul?) confronted the tech and it was total honesty.... they took another car off the rack and threw mine up there and redid it immediately. VERY polite, very honest, integrity. This is the only place in the high desert we refer to and the only place my main mechanic will use.
