Mr Stumpy was very easy to work with. We did all our communication over the phone text/calls, and he provided a fair price for work well done.We had a tree fall over in a store a year plus ago, we paid people to remove the tree but they left the stump. I called him and he checked out the work and provided me a quote, once I accepted he came out within the week and did the work leaving me the bill. It was a painless process.

We had a tree fall during the March wind storm and needed the root ball ground up. We also had about 9 small stumps and 1 other large stump that we wanted to get rid of. I was referred to Mr. Stumpy by a well known fence contractor. He told me he used him all the time and that Mr. Stumpy was responsive and affordable. Probably the best referral Ive received in a while.Kerry Carrico is Mr. Stumpy and he is a one man show. My first phone call to him went to voice mail and was returned the next day like his voice message said it would. He came out on his own and left his estimate on our front door. He estimated $225 for the large root ball and told me the other stumps would be $25 each. I jumped on this.He came out today. He was on time, friendly and explained that he would get the work done and didnt expect it would cost more than $300 total. He worked fast and charged me less than that. You dont find many folks like him anymore. He did exactly what he said he would do in less time than I expected and did more than we asked for!He is a no frills kinda guy. He told me up front that he wouldnt haul anything away. However, he left my backyard looking pretty darn good by filling in the holes and using a leaf blower to even things out.Dont hesitate to hire him!
