I had Phone Doctor replace the battery on my Galaxy S7 today. I had already purchased the battery and they charged me labor. The workmanship is excellent. The battery was replaced and put back together like it was never opened. I actually got my phone back better than how I brought it in. (previous battery had bloated and lifted the screen).Service was completed within 2 hours. Although they said it would take one hour and when I returned they said they needed 15 min more which ended up being about an hour. Still impressive it was done that quickly. There was a steady flow of customers so be prepared for it to take a little longer than quoted (which happens).Parking is a little tough but its in the town of Herndon so take advantage of your visit by trying out some of the local restaurants and bars. There are many options with good variety. Its a quaint little town and a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.Ill be coming back here if i need to have a component in my cell phones replaced.

Fabulous store for unlocked Android and iPhones, accessories to include cases. Had an Apple computer repaired and restored at a very reasonable price. This place should be YOUR go to for all things phones, tablets and PCs. AND absolutely lovely people working there.

I brought a phone in that I thought needed a minor repair and a new battery. They spent a lot of time figuring out that it needed a major repair, and talked me through my options. They got it working, with the advice to get a new phone right away, and charged me very little for all of that work. That enabled me to get a new phone and get all of the data transferred over with minimal inconvenience. Ive also gotten routine repairs and service from them, done well, at a fair price. They are super-honest and reliable.

I would highly recommend Phone Doctor! Karla Castro assisted me with a better phone case, and also a better screen protector that I desperately needed. She deeply cares about the customer, and does an exceptional job in her field, while providing excellent service!! Again, I would highly recommend!

I give 4.5 stars due the wait and the used screen that was installed had a defective button. They were able to fix the button and thus saving me $50 from getting a new screen which cost $200. This was second Time that I brought my phone to fix with them. Overall experience: good price and service.

Brought my IPhone XR in and got a cracked screen repair. Phone was returned without a passcode and error message showing I had to bring it back and it was fixed without any explanation as to why my phone ended up like that with just a screen repair. A week later there’s a dead spot on my phone that doesn’t respond to touch and a few days after the entire screen was dead to touch. T-Mobile confirmed this had to do with the screen repair. Extremely upset about this.

My iPhone 6s had an issue with display backlight, and nothing on the screen was visible. I dropped it off at this location and it was repaired within a day. The owner, Amine, is very knowledgeable, courteous, and in one of the visits, he promptly diagnosed a technical issues with my iPhone and restored to like-new condition. His staff are very hospitable and accommodating. In multiple occasions, Amine offered us great service and fair pricing. In interacting with Amine, I was surprised at the range of technical expertise he exhibits. he specialized in repairing computers, small electronic devices, and a wide-range of mobile phone brands. Before starting the repair, he explains the issue and iron out any details or questions you might have. In one occasion, we were concerned of losing a large volume of photos in a damaged phone but Amine was able not only to salvage it but save every single photo! Outstanding experience at Phone Doctor - I called about getting my LG G6 screen replaced and found they had it in stock. They quoted me the repair cost over the phone and the next day, I took the device in and had it fixed. Its perfect. And...the cost was reasonable!! Definitely a great experience from my initial phone call all the way through pick up and payment. I’ve been using and referring family and friends to Amine, owner of the Phone Doctor, for my iPhones for many years now. He is the kindest, most knowledgeable expert at a very reasonable cost. Usually, I cannot believe how affordable the repairs are. I feel like I want to pay him more, but I’m glad I don’t have to. And I always enjoy visiting his shop. The folks there are great, and they will do whatever it takes to get your phone back up and running in the shortest amount of time possible. Sometimes it takes a few hours. Most of the time like today, it was a thirty-minute repair while I went and did some errands. He and his associates are like magicians. Just when you think, “Oh no, this phone is totally hosed. I’ll probably have to buy a brand new one and have payments!” he can make it as good as new just by looking at it. That’s right, once an iPhone sees the Phone Doctor looking at it, it says to itself, “I’d better step in line and start working right again or else.” It will practically repairs itself!!! If your smart phone is acting stupid, go see the Phone Doctor!!!

A perfect 10 in customer service. Weve successfully had 2 iphones repaired here. I brought in my old Motorola today with a speaker problem. The technician spent a good amount of time working on it, but ultimately it was not fixable at a reasonable price (motherboard). Tech left the new speaker part in my phone, and didnt charge me a penny. He said I could use the money towards a new phone. All 3 visits have been impressive. Great service, reasonable prices. Well be back for sure!

My phone was accidentally run over by a car! It was Saturday night. Phone Doctor had great reviews, but closed on Sundays. I messaged them and got a response...sometimes, we work by appointment. 45 minutes later, Amine met me at his store. About 15 minutes later, my phone was fixed! Heres my experience...Apple wanted no part of fixing my phone as they said the water marker was triggered. I brought it to the phone doctor who was honest, courteous, and fixed my iPhone X for $150. Apple would have had me spend $1,000 to buy a new phone and lose the content which was not backed up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS IF YOU ARE IN A BIND LIKE I WAS. Total Kudos Phone Doctor.

These guys are good. Ill give more nerdy details later. The phone was intact, and it seemed to be charging but the screen did not light up. Heres the TLDR: They allowed me to decide if I wanted to wait longer to pinpoint the faulty components or a straight replacement of the motherboard, which would be quicker. I opted to pay more for the motherboard swap. Phone feels better than new now. Highly recommended.Nerdy details: I have an LG G6, unlocked US version (US997). Swapping the motherboard meant I had to start from scratch, barring anything that was already backed up to my google account. The pro tech that serviced my phone a new firmware H871(AT&T version). This is a better version of android than I had before; everything was more stable, the phone got hot less often, and comfort view mode actually works with the time duration settings Ive set. It also received more recent security patches. My phone had to be babyed before as I had to clean the cache/junk files every few days or else itd crash (and it sometimes still crash even after cleaning and restart). Now I just do file-cleaning maybe once/week and it hasnt crashed.

I needed some software work done, and after being turned down at a couple other places, tried the Phone Doctor. I wish Id gone here first. The tech was personable and knowledgeable, and understood exactly what I was trying to do. He carefully explained the risks and made sure that I understood them. I figured Id have to leave the phone overnight, but he was able to take care of it right then. While I was waiting, I browsed the shop and they have some *really* good pricing on both new and used phones, as well as accessories. Im really grateful to have found these guys, and based on my experience today, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Brought in my water damaged iPhone that both AT&T and The Apple Store said there was no way to recover the photos. It had all the photos of my newborn baby on it so I decided to try The Phone Doctor and they were able to save all my photos and videos! Fast, efficient, and a great value compared to others in the area- plus there was no charge unless they retrieved the photos! The receptionist, I believe her name was Carla was very pleasant. I dropped my relatively new laptop and cracked the corner of the screen. I called the shop and they asked me to stop by to look at it. They gave me a reasonable quote (I shopped around), we ordered the part and the technician replaced the screen. He even cleaned my computer and keyboard afterwords. It was much easier than most things in todays landscape. Strongly recommend - professional, friendly, knowledgeable people.

I have an ancient flip phone with Sprint. Dropped the phone with main screen open, knocked the main screen light out. Decided I need a new phone but needed phone numbers taken out and transferred. Sprint said they could not do it without screen. Looked up phone doctors, like what I read and they were only ten minutes away. I just wanted to get the phone numbers. They were able to bring back the screen back with patience and diligence. I am still using my phone and the cost of repair was extremely reasonable. If I decide to get a smart phone, probably soon, I may get one of their used phones, to learn on and progress from there. Very personable people to work with. I really do want to thank them for all they did.

I have been coming to the Phone Doctor for phone and laptop repairs and the purchase of cell phone pre-paid plans for the past several years. The service is always excellent. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they have always ensured that my service is performed in timely manner and they guarantee their work and the phones and accessories that they sell.

These guys are top notch. Unlike some of the other local shops, they did not charge me for attempting to get pictures from my water damaged 6S Plus to my 7 plus. Unfortunately my phone was too damaged to retrieve the photos but at least they didn’t charge me. Other shops wanted to charge me to try, even if unsuccessful which was $60+. NAlso - they fixed my Laptop at a very reasonable price. The technician called me with updates and to verify that I wanted to go forth with the repair based on the cost. Can’t say enough good things about this business.Honestly - skip the Apple Store. I realize Apple employees have to follow their corporate rules and SOP but it is a gigantic waste of time. If they suspect water damage, they won’t even attempt anything.

The screen cracked on my iPad Pro 10.5 inch. My Apple Care had expired so I brought my device to The Phone Doctor. The iPad was fixed it within a couple of hours. I have been using the iPad on the road for two weeks now and it has been like new. I am very grateful to have this service nearby. The repair shop has convenient parking in the back. The Phone Doctor been a lifesaver for me and my family on many occasions. The store manager and other technicians have been able to handle everything we have brought to them, proving to be excellent diagnosticians when it comes to electronics. The have very reasonable prices and the attitude of just wanting to help out their customers, which is very refreshing.For some examples of service I have received, I brought in a 4 year old moto x which I had dropped and they were able to repair for a very fair amount, even taking into account that the display parts for this phone had to be ordered direct from the manufacturer. When I came back later because the battery of the same phone had finally given out, the store manager remembered me and replaced the battery without charging me anything for labor.On another occasion, we brought in an old laptop which had not had a working display for years. The store manager broke down for us the relative costs of doing the data recovery vs. a repair depending on which component of the laptop ended up being faulty. He analyzed the issue and when it proved to be something that would require replacing the most expensive parts of the laptop, he explained to us exactly what he found out and why and he recovered our data at a very competitive price.I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to repair a device, even older and discontinued models. We will certainly be returning here if we need help with our computers or phones in the future.

Amine convincingly diagnosed my iPhone trouble as a hardware problem and replaced the headphone/charging jack on the spot in 15-20 minutes for $50. Helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and quick. Phone Doctor is the best place to go to troubleshoot and fix phones. A few weeks ago, my phone Samsung 6 Galaxy was anti locked with a passcode, unable to be retrieved and no access to anything. They fixed it w/o resetting it and erasing all of my data, apps, photos and contacts. They were patient, helpful and I received the best customer service. I highly recommend this place. I came in needing to replace a broken iPhone 7 Plus screen. They did in a very short amount of time but the screen they gave me was defective and not fully working. I came in the next day asking for a fix, and they replaced it with another screen and even gave me a free screen protector for the trouble. Im appreciative they were able to help me after I had the issue, and the new screen is significantly better.

First time I went to a phone repair store and I am extremely pleased with the result. The total cost for replacing the Galaxy S7 Edge battery and replacing the back panel was about $100. The price was cheaper than expected so no complaints there. Although getting the phone repaired at a certified Samsung repair shop is cheaper than this, however, I dont feel like driving 30 mins to fix my phone and I needed it repaired ASAP. Also, this shop is probably cheaper than any of the other nearby repair shops. I called several of them, and all of them were priced above the $100 not including labor and taxes.

My daughter from college has a Mac pro Air that for some reason the mouse on the keyboard stopped working and not even an external mouse would work. I took it to apple, and they told me that it must be water damage and that its better to buy a new one. Then I took it to Geek Squad and they told me it will cost about $600 and they have to send somewhere and will take about two weeks to fix. So at this point I was thinking -- bite the bullet and buy a new one. Then I decided one last time -- found this place, Phone Doctor and showed the manager there Amine the lap top. Well, to my absolute shock, he took it apart tinkered with it and fixed it within 30 minutes and charge me only $35. Its a no brainer how much that saved me. Amine could have easily told me what the others told me but he is honest and decent and took his time to do all he can to fix it. Because I saved so much on the laptop issue -- my daughter now wants me to buy her a new I-Phone. I can never win.

I came in needing screen replacement on my HTC 10, which is a somewhat hard model to have parts for. They had the parts and did the repair quickly. Unfortunately, I noticed my GPS stopped working after the repair. The reason I still give 5 stars is that when they were unable to get repair parts for my GPS, they replaced my phone. Really upstanding people who will do what it takes to make it right.

Took my iPhone 6 to this shop and they fixed it in 20 mins as promised. I was told by Apple Genius that I would need a new phone and they can upgrade me for the same phone as it cannot be fixed since it’s out of one year warranty. Also I’ve had my other phone fixed from them in past with similar experience.

I would have nothing but good things to say about this place as the customer service was impeccable. Brought in a screen I bought online for cheap since I broke my phone and the LCD touch display wouldnt respond. The gentleman recommended I do the full fix so the phone looks brand new. The difference in cost was about $40, so I agreed to it. The repair took about 2 days because the parts had to be ordered and shipped to them. Went in and the phone looked brand new. The guy told me I had a 3 day warranty for any defects not caused by physical damage.While the screen looked fine, there was a dim discoloration, a yellow tint in the top right. It wasnt anything serious so I ignored it. A week later I noticed that sometimes when I take my phone out of my pocket the phone LCD wont turn back on, even though I have a notification flash on at the top left. I literally have to take my battery out every time and hard reset my phone in order for it to work, this is a pain and drains my battery quickly. Then I was realized when I was taking pictures using the front facing camera it was blurred a bit. At first I thought it was because I was in a sunny area, but upon further examination there is dust and debris INSIDE the phone stuck to the front facing camera.All-in-all my phone DOES work, and Im happy to have a working phone. Although it would have been nice if it was at least a week long warranty considering I was very busy the first 3 days I received my phone back. These are things that can easily be overlooked as phones do sometimes freeze up, but not as often as it does not, and I barely ever take any sort of picture with my front facing camera. I do praise great customer service though and this place gives it. 2 stars for customer service and a somewhat functional phone.

I was very happy to read all the reviews about this place, and after I had dropped my phone in water this January, I took it to Phone Doctor, where they told me they’d fix it up. I was relieved when I got my phone back, but while I was picking it up, they informed me that the fingerprint passcode on my iPhone would not be working, and that they had replaced my battery. I understood the issue with my fingerprint button - I was happy to have a working phone and don’t mind using a normal passcode. As I was planning on replacing my battery, I was pleased that they had done that in the process of fixing my phone.However, over the next month, I realized that the battery was of EXTREMELY low quality, and would go from 100 to 70% within 15-20 min of using it. I took Apple up on its offer of replacing the battery for $30, but when I brought my phone to Apple, I was told by the technicians that Phone Doctor had glued my battery instead of using double sided tape/adhesive, as is normally done. They were not able to replace my battery since they were not able to remove it. Since it had been over 30 days, the warranty was not viable.I’m happy the phone works, but I wish I would have been told up front about the fingerprint passcode not working, in addition to being told that th battery they were using to replace it was likely old. This information would likely have made me invest in a new phone, versus paying to get this one fixed with such defects.

Something got stuck in the sim card slot, so the phone was useless. They were able to extract the thing from the tiny slot without damaging the phone or needing to take it apart, which was a huge relief. Phone was back in working order within 2 hours. Guys at the front desk were really friendly and helpful.

Very helpful, excellent customer service and the prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend Phone Doctor to everyone!!

Words cant explain the way Phone Doctor made my iMac look and work like new again, I would highly recommend them to all my friends or anyone for computer and phone or tablet repair, thanks guys my upgraded hard drive is working just fine and my screen is just amazing

I went there to get the back of my Galaxy s8+ fixed and have a stuck sim card removed, both things were done properly however, when I got back home and plugged in the charger it gives me the following error your phone temperature is too low charging paused did some research and found out that this only happens if a sensor is messed up or something.I will be going back on Monday to see if they can fix their mistake free of charge since it never gave me that error until after I left. I even did some research and it said that its common to see that error if you had your phone screen recently replaced. I will change my rating if they are able to fix the issue they caused.Other than that it was a fast service and they fixed what I needed fixed but the hiccup I have now.
