This place is professional and friendly. Last summer we had a check engine light issue following general maintenance and oil change. At first we thought the light coming on was erroneous. However, the light kept coming back on. They figured out the problem and fixed it for free since we had to come in and drop it off several times to figure out what was going on. That was very unexpected for them to cover the fix that ultimately resolved the check engine light. We appreciated them covering it since we were mainly glad we could get it resolved. Recently, we also did a big new tire job, alignment, suspension, and had to fix an issue with the rear axle. Because it was a big expense for those services, they covered the routine oil change. I like that you can tell they aren’t trying to rip you off in and any suggested repairs they always send images to show what the issue at hand looks like visually.

Took mu Acura for a State Safety test and had a bad experience and its not the first time . They failed my test and gave me a quote for 2000+ $ for repairs. I got the fix done for 220$ and bought the car back for a retest. When you call them and ask for a price and warranty they quoted me a different price and warranty term which they contradicted at the shop. My prior experience was an oil change and tire rotation. I had marked my Tires so when he told me he was done and it was ready for pickup I verified that the tires were not rotated and were as is. The staff is sometimes nice but other times have found them rude and ganging up

Been going here for 6 years and they have a taken good care of us. From driving with us to try to replicate an issue. To a free oil change because the part supplier took too long. They are always helpful and knowledgeable.

Never have I been treated with such high quality professionalism and care from an auto shop. Every person I interaxcted with was courteous and actually listened to what I said regarding my car. They did not insert their opinion or try to sell/oversell me. They were honest, provided services specific to my car and my needs, and answered all my questions. They even have shuttle services for local customers, which I was grateful to use. Super friendly people (Neil is my favorite). Just overall gentlemen and serious professionals. I back them up 1000%.

I have used Wiygul for all our family vehicles from an 86 Chevy to 05 Acura, 13 GMC and others. The responsiveness and professionalism of this group is second to none. Safety and emissions. They were very friendly and personable with not just me, but every customer that came in. It took about an hour and half but there were about 5 customers ahead of me.They were very up front with timelines and availability.Lots of drop ins were showing up and they did their best to be accommodating to all of them by fitting them in by the end of the day, but being very honest about when they would be able to fit them in.

I needed a state inspection but thought I also needed an emissions test. A staff person named Lamar helped me enormously by explaining the state requirements and leading me through the process. My car was finished ahead of time. I am pleased by every part of doing business with this Wiygul store.

They were not keeping their words. I called them and ask for the shuttle services (drop-off and pick-up) due to rain, before I start from home to Wiygul Herndon,. They had agreed to do it. Once I gave my vehicle at Wiygul for doing the oil change, they dropped back to my home; After they had checked my vehicle, I received a call from them and recommended for more genuine issues & fixes. But I have denied them saying I can do them later. Because of this, I assume they did not extend me the shuttle for the pick-up (even though shuttle vehicle and driver were available). In the rain, I walked up and picked my vehicle. It’s kind of upset the customer who has believed in your service; but not anymore. Thanks.

Very up front with what they needed to do and what may be needed in the future. They didnt try to do more than what was needed at the time. I feel that I can trust them. Estimate of work was right on target and they were done early! Very pleasant communicative staff!

My experience at Wiygul Automotive on Grant Street in Herndon was excellent. I easily booked an appointment for Saturday afternoon service. Customer service, mechanical work, and communication was great. Also, the price for work done was very reasonable.

Great work on a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and both inspections.

Don’t know about right now, but they always accommodate my schedule. I missed my Tuesday appointment and forgot to call them. They squeezed me in for emissions on Wednesday. They’re always so engaging at the front desk. And they do excellent work for a good value. I really feel like I found my “home” mechanic.

I needed a last minute emissions test they fit me in quickly. Very nice and professional and able to offer good advice for my other questions about another vehicle.

Did a pre purchase inspection. They were cordial and did a thorough check. But the price was high in my opinion.

I recently took my vehicle to the Herndon location of this company and I wish I had gone elsewhere even if it cost me more money. I asked for an oil change and to replace the cabin and engine air filters as well. Although the services were performed with no real issue, the time it took for it to be completed was beyond unusual. The car was dropped off the night before with a note that I would like the car back by at least 4pm. After several calls and getting more and more excuses on why my car wasnt done yet. I drove to the store and it hadnt even moved from where I parked it. they said come back by close (7pm) and it would be ready. after picking up the car and getting in I noticed a STRONG marijuana odor coming from my car that was NOT there before. The name of the Technician that worked on my vehicle was listed as Billy. Me being a 56 year old government worker, I can assure anyone that it wasnt there before... I dont know who these people employ but I would NOT recommend taking your vehicle here unless you want a pot head working on your vehicle and bad customer service. the price isnt worth the service. Had better service at Virgina tire down the road. would be a 0 star if google would let me choose that...

I recently moved to Virginia and needed a safety inspection and emissions testing for my car. I called to ask questions and schedule the appointment. The staff member that I spoke with was informative, patient and polite. When I arrived for my appointment, staff were friendly and quick to greet. After the inspection and testing the technician took the time to explain all areas needing adjustment and/or repair. He answered my questions thoroughly and provided me with specific directions for my follow up appointment. I will be returning to this shop for my follow up inspections.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! We needed some costly repairs done to our truck for it to pass Inspection and had never been here before. From the first time I called, to the time I picked up the truck, both John & Neil were GREAT! They were extremely informative and knowledgeable in helping me understand exactly what needed to be done. I used the bracket buster coupon. I was in and out in an hour. Nice people very efficient.

I brought my car in for an inspection and emissions test. I decided to wait there since they said it would only take about an hour. They finished timely but informed me that they replaced the wiper blades because they needed replacement and also replaced a battery in my smart key. Although they did not charge me for the battery, that would not be a factor in passing inspection. The problem was they were charging me $28.33 for each blade without my approval. This is a first for me. I told them I could have bought the blades if they told me beforehand. Of course they would have needed to fail the inspection but that should be my choice. They reduced the price to $22 per blade to attempt to satisfy me. My opinion is that they are trying to take advantage of the consumer. Bad practice!

Had the spark plugs and oil changed. Noticed on the bill when I came home that it said synthetic blend and not fully synthetic. I called in and the guy tells me it’s a computer glitch and there is no way that they would have given me the wrong oil.Also, the main reason I came in was to see if they could help me figure out why the steering wheel vibrates, but only on idle. They ran a diagnostic and claimed my car was misfiring on one or more cylinders. That’s why they changed the spark plugs. I also asked if they ran the diagnostic test again after they changed the spark plugs and he said no but they took it for a test drive and it was fine. Well, fine is eyes of the beholder I guess. It still vibrates on idle, even more so now. Driving around the block to check it would not help. Simply turning it on and grabbing the steering wheel would have been more helpful.Maybe you will have a different experience than me at this place but having been robbed of over $400 for a service that had absolutely no value feels like a kick in the gut. In fact it will cost me even more to have my oil changed somewhere else to get some piece of mind and to make sure I have the right oil.

Wiygul automotive took great care of my car, and treated me warmly and professionally. They were timely in getting the repairs I needed done, and kept in touch so I knew what to expect. Their virtual diagnostic tool was really neat and different from what I’ve experienced elsewhere, with a full itemized list of the items they checked, which items they deemed necessary to address immediately, and photos of all of those items in question. I had both inspections done, tires replaced, minor part changes, an oil change, as well as a repair to my AC system. Everyone was especially courteous and my car drives much more smoothly than when I took it in.

Very personable, professional, and competent.Couldn’t get my RV to start even after several attempts by AAA and was told it could not be towed because of the location. Wiygul recommenced Potomac Towing and Recovery who was able to get my RV to Wiygul.Wiygul was able to quickly diagnose my RV battery issues, correct the issue, and then explain and show the fairly complicated (at least to me) RV battery system in detail, which was very useful and helpful.Very pleased with the service and professionalism at Wiygul and will happily use for all services in the future.

Wiygul in Herndon is my go to tire mounting and balancing spot. Theyve got a Hunter Roadforce machine and my car needs it to avoid a shimmy at highway speeds. They are top notch, well recommended.

Had my 2014 Toyota Avalon serviced at the Wiygul Automotive in Herndon last week. Was very impressed with the program they use where after dropping the car off for inspection (I had been having pulsation while braking) they sent a link to my phone with pictures and explanation of items they found wrong. I had them replace struts and brakes and the car rides like new again. The work was performed on time and actually a little under the initial quote. I would highly recommend this shop as they were reliable, honest and very professional which can be a rare find in the auto repair business. Great job guys!

Person I spoke to at the front desk quoted me outrageous prices rather than letting me know they dont specialize in fixing tires but rather send it out to get fixed. He advised that for my car its not fixable. Luckily in this day and age there is such thing as the world wide web to help easily identify other businesses that would provide the service. The next day my car was fixed for 1/4 the cost quoted me at this facility. The gentleman at this location was either clueless and does not know the market or mechanics of a car or believed because I am a woman that I am clueless. I would say honesty is the best policy as a good business modo to gain customers trust and ensure their return.

The team at Wiygul is fantastic! I called ahead to schedule an appointment for a state inspection and had no trouble getting an appointment for early on a Saturday. My car is old and typically needs to have work done in order to pass its yearly inspection, so it was no surprise when the team let me know the car had failed and there were repairs needed. What WAS a surprise is that my steering/wheel connection was so rusted I had been on the verge of completely losing steering control of my car.The mechanics quoted the fix and immediately got to work. They fixed the most dire needs and took the extra step to have an additional replacement part rushed to the shop and stayed after close to complete the repairs and get me back on the road safely the same day!Everyone was very professional, kind, and super helpful!

This was my first experience with them. And it was only for a motorcycle inspection. So my experience is limited. Overall they were the utmost professionals, their facilities were very clean and the staff was very accommodating while I waited for the inspection to be completed. I definitely will give them a try when I next need some auto work done.

Had a great experience at this location, I called to get information about a certain service, Emissions test, and they were super friendly, the Emissions test was super affordable and they have coupons on their website that I used and made it even cheaper. The guy who helped me out, I Believe his name is mark, hes the fine bald guy with a beard, was a lot of help, he helped me with getting batteries for my key fob, and actually replaced it for me without even having me ask. The whole team was all smiles and friendly they definitely have great customer service. Everyone I interacted with was great. Luca was the shuttle driver and he took me to get food before dropping me off back to work, which I greatly appreciated. Im definitely going back they have other services that are pretty affordable. Im glad I found them. Couldnt be happier.

Honesty is the key to success and I think thats what these people follow. I was told by Mercedes and other places to get new brake pads and rotors for my car but before going for Mercedes I decided to give it a shot with Wiygul Automotive in Herndon and guess what... I am good for another 10,000 miles. They legit inspected my vehicle in few minutes and gave me a report with all the pictures attached which clearly shows that I dont need anything as of yet.Seems like this is going to be my place from this day today.

The team at Wiygul take care of ALL my families cars. They always go above and beyond, doing what I come in for and letting me know what they see that MIGHT need to be addressed in the future. Never pushy, and I leave with confidence that my cars are well taken care of. I only wish I had found them sooner.

I took my car to their auto shop due to it having unknown issues at the time. They said it would take 1.5 hours to replace my tires and it took 3. If I had known it would take that long, I would have gone home instead of walking around outside. Otherwise happy with the service and the price for the tires.

Wiygul got my vehicle in early for my VA state safety inspection. The inspector noticed that a shim had come loose on a front brake pad and quickly removed it to pass inspection. All at no extra charge. These guys are pros who go the extra mile to deliver great service. Thanks Wiygul!!

They found the problem really quick but was asking 525 installed for a wiper motor when it took me 15 minutes to install and the part cost $65.
