The staff was nice. Unfortunately, I was not told I would not get a cleaning on the initial visit. They insist on giving me a deep clean. The price is very high. I wonder if they get a commission. If I didnt have insurance would they try to sell it to me. I will just shut up and take it. It was hard to find a dentist with late hours and taking new patients. Ounce of prevention...i will not but the$137 electric tooth brush. I can get the same thing for half the price on the internet.

I needed a replacement for broken lower dentures. I just moved to the area and found Aspen Dental. They were great, and got me fitted and in new dentures within four days. They fit great and it was a pleasure dealing with the staff and the dentist.

Four stars… one employee made comments about my X-rays that were utterly inaccurate… thankfully he was not the doctor. The doctor put me at ease and I was ok with that… but that one fellow should not be making comments about my X-rays if he does not know what he’s looking at…

Going to the dentist is always a nerve wrecking experience (especially after receiving the bill) which I was very upset over. I did voice my concerns over and over (because I was worried Id get talked into getting more work that I cant afford) and I just want to say, Sheila at the front desk REALLY put me at ease and by the time I talked payments over with her, I felt so much better. Ideally, no one wants to spend that much with no insurance but the way people talk to you and make you feel human is enough to make the experience tolerable. So, BIG thank you to Sheila for making me feel like a person and not just a number. She was very empathetic and kind!

I would say there are pros and cons. Cons would be way over priced..... I would say if your paying over $5000 in work out of pocket you should pick what you want first. I would also say as a con if someone want implants they should get it. Obviously consider doctors advice but if that is what you want. You should get it. The dentist was nice and the staff. Over all the process was good. Just over priced and pretty much having no say in your care plan. Also get a second option from another dentist

Very professional and quick once youre called into the back from the waiting room. I got all my X-rays on Monday, which were overly thurough. Then my back bottom tooth was pulled on Thursday. No pain and no problems! I would give 5 stars but it cost about $250.00 for the extraction. Worth it but thats why just 4 stars.

Great people, fast a courteous. Doctor was knowledgable and skilled, explained every step of the procedure and answered all of my questions without getting inpatient/frusterated.Only thing I would say is that they may want to make their work areas a little more private, its weird to overhear whats going on with another patient.

The initial receptionist didnt keep an eye on the front counter very well, but was very pleasant when she was interacting with me. The nurse was fantastic! She was very pleasant and funny.The dentist was nice, but didnt really talk to me much. She was in and out in a couple minutes. She said she would be back and I never saw her again. I wasnt able to really talk to her much.After that the lady who checked me out was abrupt and somewhat rude. She seemed to just want to get me out of there.

Had a fractured tooth that was extremely painful. Aspen Dental got me an appointment the very next day, on a Saturday! They were professional and made sure i was in no discomfort during the extraction procedure.Dr. Johnson was exceptional, always asking if I was comfortableThe Drs assistant Ciy was very courteous and helpful. The whole staff were so amazing and sweet! The office staff were so nice as the first people you see made you feel welcome. The Da was very personable made you feel comfortable. The hygienist was very nice knew what she was doing and was super helpful. The dentist. Dr. Johnson is very caring, makes you feel like her only paitent answers all your questions and makes sure you are comfortable with your treatment. The treatment coordinators are super knowledgeable about the best ways to help you be able to get treatment right away. I would recommend aspen dental of Hermitage PA to everyone I know.

Good experience. Called on Tuesday after I broke a tooth and got me in the next morning. I work for a medical practice so know how important it is to have a good staff who is friendly and helpful along with the doctor.

I have been coming here for 7 years and over the last couple years the staff has progressively gotten worse. They are consistently at least 45 minutes behind and rude. My dental hygienist yesterday was so condescending, it was appalling. I will not be returning.

Tooth chipped and the dentist did a horrible job refilling it. The contact between my teeth was too big and food got stuck. I went back a second time for him to look at it and the dentist said I was good to go and there was not a problem. The dentist rushed and did not take time to really look or care. I got a second opinion at a second office and that dentist was appalled what Aspen Dental did to my tooth. DO NOT GO. Do yourself a favor and find a different office.

If you can go somewhere else, do it. This is a large corporate operation whose red tape is strangling their ability to offer reasonable and effective patient care. They didn’t seat my crown properly, which is likely because the poor dentist was forced to see 5 patients at the same time. I waited twenty minutes at a time for him to come back several times. Over the next few months,I found that the crown left gaps and food was getting in. When I arrived today for them to correct it, their computers went down and I have been waiting 40 minutes for them to prove my payment plan has covered the previous work. I needed to sign a paper, but due to a Covid scare and waiting on test results had to reschedule. Now they are saying my approved payment plan may be expired. I called twice to double check that everything would proceed as planned, and the staff never mentioned that the payment plan had an expiration date. I offered to do paperwork virtually, and they instructed me to wait to my appointment after negative Covid test results. The bureaucratic approach to billing is drastically reducing the quality of patient care and clearly leading the office staff to feel that they must be less than accommodating to the point that it defies common sense.

I have a long-held fear of going to the dentist. Not even kidding, since Ive come to Aspen Dental, that has gotten so much better. Ive experienced 2 hygiene visits, a filling and an extraction and all without pain.

I trusted the dentists here. Got my teeth taken care of, got talked into a partial. They give you a temporary partial which I now find out is useless. If I would have known my insurance only covers one partial every five years I would never have gotten the temporary because now I cant afford my real ones. I was never explained this and its not the first thing they didnt tell me or warn me about. I will never come back here.

I actually enjoyed my experience at the dentist for a change! The entire staff was extremely friendly and courteous. I went in for a cleaning and was seen promptly at my scheduled appointment time. Please read all reviews! We had to go there because of the coro virus and my husband needed 2 teeth pulled, because of infection. Hard to get in other places. First visit we felt like cattle being herded around by robots. The one girl that was helping with exrays was only one that seemed nice. My husband was in there 2/12 hrs. just for exrays and consultation, and set up extractions. I was there 11/2 hrs. for exrays and consultation. I had to wait at dental chair until someone got me. 20 mins. later I just got up and we t to the front!They charged my husband before sHe even had the surgery. The lady at desk was rude, she said you have to buy groceries before you cook your food! Then I asked her about the Care credit and howany months was on it and she said that the care credit automatically puts that on there. Wrong g, care credit later told me it is up to the office to put how many months to be paid by.When my husband went back for the extractions they were more sociable. She wouldnt deduct 1 tooth off of bill until after extraction visit. Because that dentist thought he needed 3 but our regular non surgical dentist thought 2. So now I have to make sure they take it off.We had them send the prescription to Walmart Herm. and had some complications with them because we usually go to Grove City one. I asked.Dentists office if they could send order to Grove City. She said she will ask doctor and then call me back I 20 mins., no call, so I called again and she said same thing, never called again. Walmart in Hermitage got it straightened out so we had to drive over there again!

My first visit to Aspen Dental went as expected....the X-Rays, exam and consultation. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The information they had on hand to evaluate my insurance coverage was incomplete, but I called later to talk about it and I was provided with accurate figures by an email. I look forward to continuing with Aspen Dental. The rating may increase as I know them better.Ive now been in for some cleanings, a whitening, and impressions for the crown of an implant. I continue to be happy with my Aspen Dental experience.

I thought everyone was super friendly. There was minimal wait time, but I was there really early in the day on a Saturday. First time patients can schedule easily online. A little bit of upselling at the end, but not pushy.

This is the literal first review I’ve ever written. I’m making this because i feel like I have to.I went to aspen around a year ago. They told me I have 6/7 cavities I needed filled, gingivitis, I needed an electric toothbrush ect. The bill after my insurance was over 1000 dollars. They offered me a loan plan with a literal 70% interest rate.I went to a 5 star rated family doctor near me today and they did x rays, everything aspen did, cleaned my teeth and did a fluoride treatment. No bill. Theybthen told me I have three small cavities that needed filled, and the bill would be around 90$.Don’t ever go to aspen. Just go to a family dentist.

Very nice staff, their prices arent bad, very quick service. I got an appointment in two days, in my consult we decided to remove wisdom teeth and the teeth were out 4 days later. If you need quick, friendly and efficient service Id recommend them.

Your x-ray tech is very rude and pushy. I never had such a horrible first impression of any healthcare facility. He really needs to be taught how to respect customers or better yet terminated. It is unfortunate because the rest of the team did a great job. In the future, I will look elsewhere for services if this individual continues to practice at your facility.

It was “okay”. The facility was clean, but the staff needs some work. Not a single person introduced their name or credentials, including my surgeon. I was not provided with appropriate discharge instructions, honestly I don’t even know if they used sutures and it’s a weekend so I can’t get a hold of anyone. This was my very first surgery ever and it was very frustrating, I will not be returning to Aspen Dental.

Took my 91 year old dad. He repeats himself a lot. Dr Wood was awesome. Unfortunately Felicia, who does the referrals was not very nice. Seemed impatient and short with my dad. My dad even gave her “the look” a couple times because he felt disrespected. If she can’t deal with the elderly she needs to find other work.

I woke up with a throbbing abscess. The dentist I had used in the past couldnt see me for about a week. I called all around and Aspen was the only place that would see me right away. So less than 24 hrs later I have 2 doses of antibiotics in me and take the strong ibuprofen along with,has me feeling so much better.

I had a very bad experience with a dentist at an early age, and I get bad anxiety when I need to go. They kept me calm and within minutes the wisdom tooth was out.

Everyone there was very nice. They didnt judge me for not coming sooner! Also, they were very clear in explaining how the financial stuff works. Definitely will be going back!

I found the Dental Hygienist, Dentist, and Billing to be the friendliest. I have to say the guy who took x-rays was not as accommodating. He appeared rushed and not very patient with me. Huffed at me during the process of where my head and tongue positions should be during the x-rays. That started my initial evaluation of Aspen Dental and felt that I wasn’t going to return after this examination.The pleasant approach from the Dentist and Billing left me with a more positive outlook.

Although the service was good, Aspen Dental adds service costs and my $85.00 cleaning ended up being a $165.00 experience. They insisted on X-rays even as I had some within a year of the visit, and the Doctors exam was a two-minute look at the X-rays. Not having dental insurance I initially though that I could get reasonable dental service at a reasonable cost, but, the costs ended up to be just as expensive as any private dentist. The initial free X-ray was an ploy to get you into the office. At the end I believe that going to a private professional dentist is a far better choice, because you can build up a better relationship with a private dentist.....

We were very happy with the Aspen Dental we visited. Got an appointment for a toothache with in hours of my call and he had a thorough exam and had the tooth extracted at the same appointment.

The people were ok at best, but they overcharged for a lot of things and i had to pay upfront for a procedure that they were not going to do until the next visit, when tbe paper clearly says out of pocket payment is due at the time of the service. They also didnt clearly explain what i was paying for. They charged me for things without asking if i wanted them. Plus it was a battle to get a refund for the services they didnt provide.

I went to Aspen after breaking my front tooth. Not only did the dentist make me feel uncomfortable, but wanted to charge almost $3000 to pull 6.5 teeth and put an upper denture in AFTER $1000 insurance. I walked out of there crying because I cant afford to put that kind of money in my teeth with 3 small kids at home. So the next day I contacted a same day denture dentist in Erie Pa. Not only were they professional, but they told me I would have a beautiful smile in less than a week and I wont have to put out a fortune. What Aspen was going to charge me, the other place did MORE, including a bottom crown for only $1400 after insurance. When dealing with Aspen, ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion. It saved me a lot of money. Im not saying the staff at Aspen is mean, because the xray girl was funny. But that place, including the dentist, is all about money. PLEASE, get a 2nd opinion before being ripped off by this place.

Aspen Dental offers everything you would ever need in a dentist. I always get right in for my appointment. They are pleasant and efficient.

In 2009 I had bridgework done to The the entire upper portion of my mouth. A lot of pain and a lot of expense. The dentist that did the work had literally no personality. He put the bridges in, neglecting to tell me that the space on the right side of my mouth was to wide to support the pressure that normal eating and sleeping would produce. In 2013 I had an appointment with Aspen Dental in Greenville, SC. While working on my teeth, the dentist broke the bridge on the right. He refused to fix it. It did not completely break off. It broke on the portion closest to the front of my mouth. I went to a specialist outside of Aspen Dental and paid over $400 for a temporary fix. It was very temporary. Nlyblasted a couple of months. The specialist told me that the space was to wide to be able to support the pressure. He also refused to testify to the fact. I fought and fought with Aspen Dental to fix the issue and was still refused treatment. On top of that they billed me over $500 for breaking it. It is 2018 and the issue is still not resolved. I called Aspen Dental in Erie, PA yesterday and was told that too much time has elapsed and there is nothing that they can do and that each Aspen Dental has different rules. Their 5 year guarantee is a joke. It hasn’t been a full 5 years since it broke. At the timeOf the break, I notified them immediately and was refused treatment. The specialist want $26,000 to fix their less than adequate work. I had paid $13,000 between myself and insurance when I had it done. Since I notified themImmediately, I feel that they should have fixed it. They didn’t and I don’t have the kind of money that other dentists are asking to repair it. I am now out the money I spent and have a space on the right upper part of my mouth that is 4 spaces long. I would never and I mean never refer anyone to this company. There word and their guarantee means nothing.

First appointment was as expected and free of charge for the consult. Staff was friendly and they took the time to discuss with me all of my options at every level - exam, treatment, and financial. My only complaint, which is not a big deal, is that out of all of the xrays I have had done in my lifetime- these bitewings were the most uncomfortable and even painful at times. Additionally, having to pay up front to even schedule an appointment for treatment was a little bit of a turn off. Regardless, I am confident that aspen can meet my dental needs and intend to use them from here on out!

As a new paitent, I went in and had my teeth cleaned and x rayed. They had me in very quickly and the cleaning was great. The x rays however were not so good, x ray tech was aggressive enough to cause cuts in my mouth and was not the friendliest! Would easily give 5 stars if it wasnt for the x ray tech/ experience.

Canceled my sons appointment without ever letting me know. They never left a message and never tried to contact me via email. This was a pediatric appointment required for entry to school. This is all after I showed up for the appointment at 8am with my 5year old for them to let me know they didnt have a hygienist that day. Then why did you schedule the appointment....

Aspen Dental did a great job on repairing my mothers dentures . Also they were done in one day, and pretty reasonable too!!! Very much appreciated!!!
