Moved somewhere once and had to deal with suddenlink, and man was I thankful to move back to this internet provider again and not have to deal with suddenlink. Its broke they will fix it, it works, its affordable. The I tenet could be faster but still

Promised 5 Mbps when I signed up but a lot of the time it is below 1 Mbps.

This company is very unprofessional, I canceled. Service on the 24th of March 2021, I was charged a cancellation fee of 400 dollars, yes I signed a contract, if I could post the recording of the call I would I recorded the entire conversation with these individuals that are disguised as a business, I transferred my service back to viasat I would recommend viasat to anyone looking for internet and phone RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

Horrible service and overpriced. Service constantly goes down and gets below 1mbps, which I have dozens of speed test results to prove. Customer service during the day is polite though. The after hours tech support is nonexistent. It says 24/7 which is not true. I have let my phone stay on hold for hours listening to the hold music until the call was dropped. They really need to get some competition so they will get their act together.

HORRIBLE INTERNET SPEEDS. We pay for 10mb download and 1mb upload and for the past THREE MONTHS, we have been getting under 1mb for both download and upload. FIX YOUR INTERNET. OVERPRICED and AWFUL. They say they are delivering high-speed internet, but yet we are getting these kinds of speeds.

We live in the middle of nowhere and love that we can have awesome internet service. And friendly people at the office. Very satisfied!

Had the fiber optic internet installed 08/06/20 in our home. The speed is unbelievable as to the service from another internet provided. So for there is no timing. Everything comes up instantly. Always have had a good experience with Eastex. If there was an issue, they were quick to get it resolved. Weve used them for 11 years now.

Bad service. Tech shows up no ladder. Have had numerous problems with the internet connection.

Easttex has always been very easy and wonderful to deal with.

I live less than 2 miles from their office. The Internet is horrible. I don’t even use wifi On my phone at home. I connect to verizon On my cell phone because I can’t get on it. We thought it might be their router so we went out and bought a $300 router. It isn’t ....,it’s their Internet. Then you have to buy a phone service that you don’t use so that you can get Internet. The employees are always really nice. Just wish the service was better.

The only positive is that the young boys are very nice. Other than that, they will say that there’s nothing wrong with your WiFi, even though there is, and you just have to keep calling them for them to actually fix your problem. I wake up today with no WiFi for no reason whatsoever. Constant problems, modem always crashes, etc. Sue Willis has a great review.

I use their internet. And. It doesnt seem good or bad.And, it seems like it crashes too often. One line goes out. It ALL goes out.

Eastex Telephone has great employees, friendly service and they are quick to respond to whatever our problems may be. However their internet service could be better. I did not realize how much our internet goes down until we switched over from Directv to Hulu. We purchased the medium internet package which should be enough to handle what we have. As a matter of fact it has gone down twice since I started texting this review due to lost internet connection. I sure hope they can provide us with better service in the near future.

We live about 15 miles from town. Our internet isnt super fast, but its enough to stream Netflix at 1080p, which is pretty taxing, and still run other devices. Any time there is a problem, theres typically a service crew there that day, if not the next. The staff is very friendly.

Great service for people who live in the country. Problems are quickly assessed and remedied. Highly recommend Eastex Telephone and all they have to offer.

They love to rip people off. 5Mbps costs over $100 after taxes and the required phone line you have to have, even if you dont use it. It cuts off at 2 points a day for a short period every single day. Other internet providers can give 100Mbps for $70.

2018:This service is not impressive at all. The pricing in through the roof and nothing can be done about it because they have no competitors in the area. I called about fiber that was put in on my road and I was told that the fiber wasnt for customers, only that it was for them to connect their own networks. The service has been unreliable since the day I started using it but like I said its the only thing available here. The only good thing about this company is some of their employees and thats the only reason why they are getting a 2 star instead of 1. This review will probably go unseen or ignored but I feel like I should voice it anyway. If you can get something else other than this then go for it for sure.2021: Changed to 1 star because the service has progressively gotten worse with no end in sight.The speed shown in the pictures below are just a small example of what I get constantly. No where near 25mbps down. All these are scheduled by the FCC also at random.Will Elons Starlink be the Rural areas interner salvation?!?! We will see soon!For the response. FIBER is available in my area Im just being refused the service to get the fiber that is here. Coverage area is here but ONLY available to NEW residents or customers. Horrible service. You pay for 10 meg but only have 5 most of the time. Unless they send someone out to check on a complaint, then youre looking at around 12. Until the next day

Just went from no bundle to a bundle and supposedly higher speed of 10mb but seems to have slowed down and have more issues now. Woke up this morning to no internet at all for no apparent reason. Yes my bill is paid yet I have no service. Why do I even pay my bill?

Forced to have a landline but its unlimited and has improved and would recomend there service just hope they get fiber optics in laneville soon if not will.have 2 leave for starlink but I see people on here recommending viasat they are crazy that service is worthless and its not unlimited

Been having Eastex for YEARSSSS! We live in the country and the Internet can sometimes be slow, but they were the only option for us. Also their prices are pretty ridiculous, especially since we are basically forced to have a house phone. Who still has a house phone in 2017?! Makes no since at all, there should be an option for customers and their just isnt.

Horrible customer service. Horrible prices. Forced to have house phone you dont need, rarely lives up to the mbps offered on their plans. When it goes out it is out for days so its not reliable at all. Basically the worst isp Ive ever been stuck with because they basically have a monopoly in this area over dsl!
