Good people, great gym, highly recommended to anyone regardless of goals

As someone who has been working out in gyms across the US for the past several years, I can honestly say this is by far the best one I’ve had the pleasure to workout in. It’s clean, has quality equipment, amazing staff and trainer. Proto Gym sets the bar for what gyms should be.

Everyone at this location (staff and other membership owners) are super friendly and helpful. Everyone here has the desire to simply work out and improve, nobody is going to judge you.For those who are concerned about COVID friendliness, dont worry. Everyone is given their own bottle and rag upon entry and theyre cleaned after every individual use.

I mentioned my goals to the owner including how a stairmaster would be helpful in helping me reach them and I loved his response. He mentioned he was already in process of getting some and was excited to show me where he would be placing them. They are now up and going at the gym. Ive been happy with the experiences Ive had here. Good equipment, good people, good vibes.

Best gym in Las Vegas. The owner Mike has created a welcoming environment that promotes community. During the shutdown he added so many new features to the gym, let members borrow equipment and kept everyone up to date with what was going on. Highly recommend this place.

Found myself recently working in the area for 3 weeks. Went in to get a month membership and wow! Mike the owner was super friendly and rate for the month was cheaper than most in the area charger per week! This place is amazing! Great balance between a CrossFit and bodybuilding gym. Really has something for everyone.So many times I walked back to my hotel after my workout saying man I wish this was my home gym. Owner Mike, is always working, always said hello when I entered. If Im back in the area I will definitely be back. The place is open 24/7 and even has a food truck out front serving up healthy food options.

So far so good. First workout here and first gym workout in 3 months. People are friendly and everyone I saw was being careful keep everything wiped down and cleaned up.

Best gym in Vegas for anyone who takes fitness serious

I used to hate going to the gym. Even when I pushed myself to go I could only last thirty minutes before I wanted to go home.Protogym changed that. I love coming here and I lose track of the time here.The staff are always willing and ready to help but not just that, the patrons. Theyre all friendly. Everybody has the same goal and it doesn’t matter what yours is. Random strangers will stop their workouts to help you with your form.I never thought a gym could feel so welcoming.

One of the best gyms in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. Has all the social aspects of a Crossfit gym with some of the best people youll ever meet with the open gym appeal of a mainstream gym. In other words, its the best of both worlds. Very affordable and has 24/7 access!

Tried visiting here while on vacation visiting family. My wife had messaged the gym on Instagram to confirm they offered day passes. They said they did, but they didn’t mention that a staff member had to be on site to do that. [EDIT] We came here within the “staffed” hours but no staff were present (we did not come during a holiday). [END EDIT]When we arrived, a member let us (the gym is 24/7 key card access style) and suggested we try using the gym’s digital member services screen to get our day pass. We tried for a while but it didn’t work since a staff member was required to scan us in anyway. Very frustrating that they didn’t mention this at the outset.The three stars I’m giving are for the gym itself (assuming you can even get in) which was quite nice. It has an overall functional layout a la CrossFit. Wish I could have worked out here!

Great gym only complaint is that they are not in the North West now that I moved

Love this place. Small, but has everything you need to get a good workout in. Staff is friendly and its pretty slow in the mornings of you want to avoid the evening crowd.

I was on leave to take care of a family member for 2 months and Protogym gave me a place to workout and follow my programming. They have the equipment, they have hours, and they do it all without a confusing pricing structure.Want to know what their price structure is? No BS, flat monthly rate and no sign up, no cancellation, no minimum lock in, no cancel by 2 weeks and 23 hours before the billing date or your get billed BS. No BS, just pay your month and go workout.Want to know their hours? 24/7Want to know their rules? Do you know how to do the exercise safely and not injure yourself - good, do the thing get it done. If you dont know ask, they will help you out! If you hurt yourself, like any other gym, you signed that away in liability anyway even at the large commercial gyms with smiling faces or your moldy apartment gym, you sign away that liability.Want some personal training? Ask about it, you wont get assaulted for it like other places.Is this a newbie welcoming place? Yes. Come in, ask about stuff and how to do some things, staff is super friendly and open.Is this a place to coddle your imposter syndrome to an extreme like a purple and yellow helicopter parent? No. Get over it, people come to a gym to workout, not judge your level of performance. If youre in the gym everyone supports you and your goals. If you need coddling go to the purple and yellow place.I cant thank Protogym for doing what they do enough. By far the best gym around. This is not your average globo-gym. Lots of free weights, slam balls, kettlebells, power racks and open space. No contracts, no fees, no frills. All that being said they still manage to maintain a friendly family environment. Come check it, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome place to work out, lots of Crossfit style equipment set up, great for a well rounded workout with lots of options . Only negative is it is small so when they are having classes you can get crowded quick
