The Catholic Cemeteries has used Pat Kelly Equipment for years and we have always had great customer service. We purchase new equipment, parts and have equipment repaired and are always happy with the outcome.

I took my loader to get fixed, and when I got it back I had the same problems. I didnt trust them too take it back. They gave poor customer service. I was told too bring it back but they dont warranty there work and would cost more. I took it to another dealer and the part that was was fixed had the same problem low pressure in the pump. When you work on on these loaders there are ways of testing pumps ect.. To see want wrong with it and when you complete working on them you should test it to see if its working. I was told they didnt know if they tested it. That the wrong answer when a tech working on equipment and making 110.00/ hours They should give me my money back.I wish I went online too read reviews on them because I would have not used them.

This is not the only unfair instance that I have at Pat Kelly Equipment Company. It was just the most expensive and most memorable. I saw an add on craigslist about a TORO dingo which is a walk behind excavator. It happened to be right in my neighborhood at the local rental store that I used. Now let it be known that my family has been operating small business in North County for 50 years. Back when Pat Kelly catered to small businesses. I remember sitting on those stools waiting for my dad to order tractor parts when I was less than 15 years old. Back when they depended on small businesses, before they had the luxury of holding accounts like University City Streets Department. I am 31 years old and have a 5 year old business, 2 years ago I walked in there and bought a piece of equipment with my lifes savings at that point. It was 7,000 dollars, and my dad was kind enough to loan my 4,000 bringing the machine to a grand total of 11,000. It was the most expensive unit in its class on craigslist at the time. I justified it by thinking that I was buying a well maintained machine from a reputable company in my neighborhood. The machine broke down 48 hours later and has never ran again. I didnt have enough money to do the $5,300 worth of repairs (quote from Scotts power). The right side drive motor and the hydraulic pump were both shot. I believe, with a little luck and determination, I will make the money to have the repairs done this summer. The one thing that I know is that I will be in business for several years to come. I will be graduating this fall with my bachelors degree in business management, and I will remain self employed in the construction industry by choice. I knocked doors in my neighborhood and begged local banks to exercise faith and loan me money to hang up my sign. I wish that a local University offered courses in humility for all the Brians out there, who obtained their careers though heritage alone.Sincerely,The neighborhood small fry

Pat Kellys is only out for themselves. Why? Because we took our front loader in to them to fix a pump problem that their tech said was the problem. Spent a good amount of money to have fixed and loader still has the same problem. Make sure you see if their work is guaranteed in writing.
