Went to this shop, with my own equipment to install, was told my equipment would not work, found out later they installed the same equipment i brought while also charging more then if i bought myself. Dont go here unless you like to give away money.

My money was well spent here. Havent had a major problem with audio/video install from 2015. Did have a small problem due to an amp getting wet while carpets were cleaned. They hooked me up real quick and didnt gouge me on the cost. Thanks fellas

I bought an Apple CarPlay deck and back up camera with installation here. Based on my recent personal experiences, I only have positive things to share. I got a great deal and the folks here took very good care of me. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for stereo upgrades and I am sure they will take care of you. I was looking for a place to get an alarm, after calling some shops I end up getting my alarm at this shop. Jesse was helpful and gave me a good deal for my viper alarm, As for the install it went perfect and fast. Alex is the guy who worked and installed my system, fast, professional and attention to details of the product he’s installing. I’m gonna go back for sure to do another business with this shop.

This is the truth. You just want a Radio and speakers this is the place. I came in at 430pm and 5 min to 6 I was driving with new sound. The older gentleman was straight business. Very nice clean job. My tahoe sounded way better. If you want it done now stereo Maxx is the place.

I shouldve read the other reviews here before deciding to go with this shop. Customer service is poor. I was told 2 days for my install of a full system then it turned to 5 days. Upon picking up my vehicle on Friday everything seemed to be installed correctly. Long story short, my dashboard isnt put back together correctly and things arent right. Very disappointed. For the money Ive spent this is disappointing.

I brought my car in this morning got my 12s and my highs and equalizer and also capacitor they do very good work clean. The only thing bad was they double sided taped my eq and it fell soon as I left but work is clean and fast

This place is a tax fraud, I got a quo on phone is $500 out of the door for my remote stater.when came to the store the owner charged me $548 ( including tax) but it only on the piece of scratch paper, all the charged was on my credit card.( meaning he kept the tax himself).The owner never explained how it work, what you should do. After 2 weeks the unit doesnt work. Came back for reset? repair never an explanation why and how. Then after 3 months unit stop working again came and get reset again without any explanation. when I asked the technician show me how to reset so that I dont have to come here and waste my time waiting, all he said is if it happen again just going it in.

Came in with my bmw, they installed a double din stereo with 2 10” comp c subs. Didn’t have enough low end long term thump and came back next day. They swapped them out for 2 12” Comp R and gave me the material at cost and didnt charge extra for labor. Talk to Sam and hope Carlito works on your car! I was referred to Stereo Maxx by my sister for a car audio installation. I made an appointment to came in for just an estimate but ended up getting really good deal on a system for my 2000 Lexus RX300. They quoted about a 5 hour install but ended up having to keep my vehicle 24 hours because it took longer than expected. They kept in contact with me with regular updates. System sounds great. I love it. My only issues was the delay in install because I had other plans that were canceled. The place is super easy to find. Staff was really nice. Definitely would recommend them.

If it comes to Car Audio I have always came to stereo Maxx. Have been a customer for over 5 years n have 3 cars with complete deck, speakers, amp n sub with camera installed. They have always given me the best deal. N has came out cheaper than if I bought each stuff on Amazon n tried installing myself. It does take time for install so plan on spending day here.

I found this spot via Amazon initially. I was doing research on good spot to get an upgrade for a Benz I bought. These guys showed me the exact make and model of radio I had been researching for my car without me pointing it out. They had all the supplies available and even had a rearview camera I could tie into the system. On the way home I blew a fuse. So I drove back. One of the techs literally took me to his house and fixed my issue in his backyard. If you have ever gotten service like that you know why Im giving 5 stars.I couldnt figure out why my Android auto wasnt working on the unit so I went back the next day. They immediately helped me out. Explained what I was doing wrong and got me up and running in minutes.If youre going someplace else. Youre probably making a mistake.

On 11/15/2018, I came to Stereo Max to get a quote on a sound system for my 99 mustang. Once I walked inside I was impressed with the different options I had for my car. I spoke with Sam and he planned out what I should apply to my car with a great deal. I knew this was going to be a one stop shop. After the price was set I decided to have the installtion same day. Miguel was also great. The gentelman who installed my stereo, amp and speakers did a great job. I can tell he takes pride in his work. I strongly recommend coming here for your car stereo needs. One of the best places i have ever been to. they installed every thing i needed. i got a really good deal on everything and the installation was very fast. i went to many other shops and out of them, they gave me the best deal. one of the salesman adam also helped me pick out really good quality items. i highly recommend purchasing your car audio items from this location.

Not the best, but they can install stereo.Not fully flushed, I found scratches on my dash.3/5 stars. I would not recommend but if you want to go cheap with the stereo, this is the place.

At first, they were nice and told me i could try some speakers to see which ones i prefer, but they didnt tell me i had to pay for them all. I tried 2, i didnt like one, and i kept another but they made pay for both.

The wait was really long it felt like the installation guys took alot of brakes over priced as well but my car sounds great if I could I would have just dropped the car off

I went here for a new headset unit installation. Purchased the service from Amazon, then went to the shop to get it installed. Theyre quite friendly and very accommodating. There was some confusion about the cable placement, but I understand since Android Auto installation isnt that common yet.I went back and ask if they can configure the right cable, and they did it right away. Took me more than a few hours to get it done, but Im happy with the result.

In my personal experience, Stereo Maxx, is efficient, affordable, and EXTREMELY welcoming and knowledgable. as a customer “women” who doesnt know much about cars or stereo systems, i came in with TONS of questions and they were able to answer each one! (i even called and bombarded them with questions a few times; they are very patient) i was able to pick out a system, per their suggestion, based on the make/model of my car and what i was looking for exactly. there were a few little bugs during my install (but you get those anywhere you go) i was informed of EACH AND EVERY ONE along with how they were fixing it. in conclusion, i think if you have ANY questions or concerns about car stereos, or just want to update your system, THIS SHOP IS THE PLACE TO GO! i could not be happier with my system and the service i was provided through Stereo Maxx. thank you so much! #blessed

Just like you, I thought I was going to leave the place happily with my new stereo... The installation was the worst ever, I had to come back 7 times because there was always malfunctioning and they also tried to sell me better equipment also I was so dissatisfied. Every time I had to go I spent over three hours average, not to mention that once I had an appointment and they took more than an extra hour to start working on the car.Dont think this happens everyday but be aware...

I first got my stereo done here and it was a smart buy because for the exact same stereo and installation, I got quoted 400 more at Best Buy. The installation was done well and I couldn’t be happier with the new stereo. I replaced my OEM G35 stereo with a touch screen one. I also just got Kicker Subwoofers installed with an amp and box for $400. They compete with a stereo shop across the street but in my opinion, it’s worth it going to stereo Maxx for the same thing for a couple hundred cheaper.

My baby now is hooked up with a beautiful custom box thanks to Carlos at stereo maxx. This guy knows how to install car audio and custom boxes, my 1971 Chevy Chevelle sound amazing and looks beautiful. I also added under car light kit. The best shop in east bay

I got a Pioneer Nex installed in my Bimmer by these folks.Less than a year late ,my camera stopped working.I took it back to these guys and they replaced the camera line harness that went bad.They didn’t charge me anything and they did a great install job again.I trust these guys!
