BODY WORK DONE POST AN ACCIDENT WITH A DEER. VERY SATISFIED WITH A LEVEL OF WORK AND SERVICE RECEIVED.THEY ARE VERY THOUGHTFUL AND NICE ON TOP OF IT.

They restored my vehicle after it was rear-ended. They even washed and cleaned the inside. Very customer friendly and didnt add extra stuff like some places.

I came here to get my car repaired. I let Caliber Hayward know that I had a small window of time in which I could pick up my car due to not being in town on certain dates. I was told that Elaine could repair my car and have it ready by a set date. There was some back and forth with my insurance company and Caliber to make sure everything was set for the appointment. I then proceeded to set a rental date for a vehicle on the date of my appointment with Caliber.Here we are, at my appointment with Caliber, and they tell me they will need a few extra days to inspect it since it was inspected elsewhere (which they already knew beforehand), and will probably not be ready on the date they previously stated. Thanks for telling me this before my appointment?? Now I can’t get my vehicle repaired and have to make a new appointment, and I have to cancel the rental vehicle. They said they would cancel it for me. I called the rental company a little while later just to make sure it was cancelled and it wasn’t, so I cancelled it.This business has terrible customer service. I do not recommend it. Most likely they will try to justify themselves in the reply as they tried to in their office… Make sure that what you tell someone prior to their appointment is the same information you have at the appointment.

Excellent body shop - car looks like brand new. Took good care of the car - they even fixed a little something unrelated. Elaine informed us every step of the way - very professional.

My insurance covered the repair after a rear-ender on the freeway pushed the rear half of the frame forward, and damaged the bumper, etc. I gage companies by how they treat customers in providing their service.The service was professional and courteous (Thanks, Bob!), the repair was thorough, and my car came back looking and feeling better than before. I highly recommend Caliber Collision in Hayward!

This shop was recommended by my insurance when I hit a debri on a freeway which damaged my car as a result. The people who helped me here during around Thanksgiving was not about the money they can get to get your car fixed, but about how they can get you up back to your feet by giving you the best assistance they can give to get you going from any of your Collision needs. They were able to fixed my car right before it rained which might have caused more damage to my vehicle. I cant say how THANKFUL Iam for the assistance they gave me and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop for ALL your Collision needs. These guys deserve more than a 5 star!!! If ever I will need assistance in the future, I WILL DEFINITELY go back to this shop not only they have the ability to get the job done, most importantly they have a sincere passion and the heart to make you feel at ease that you will be taken care of.

If I were to give Caliber Collision a grade it would be a “B” for actual repair work completed, a “C” for customer service and a “F” for Quality Control.Customer Service was a little strange. Appointments had to be made for initial inspection and review of damage. A second appointment was made to “later” bring the car back for actual repairs. On the second appointment (dropping car off) the intake person gave the impression he thought I was there for the initial review. It wasn’t until I stated I was dropping the car off for repair service that he seemed to get it? Not sure why there are appointments when the employees don’t pay attention to the “reason for the appointment”? I want to spend as little time there a possible and shouldn’t have to explain why I’m there.Quality Assurance must be at the bottom of the customer service list. When I arrived to pick-up the car I was able to look it over before going into the office for my appointment. The repair work looked spot-on new except for the “right lower black molding with the “Outback” label, which was all scuffed-up. I ran my hand across it thinking it might be dust, it was not. I went inside a little unhappy. My appointment person came out and said my car was all done and ready. I said no, we need to look at something first. Long story short, the service person stated he thought he ordered the molding, went inside to checked the paperwork and came out with the new molding in hand. Apparently, someone dropped the ball and didn’t pay attention, not while doing the work nor when reviewing the completed service. I also notice a black nick on the edge of the right rear fender along the door jam area. I asked to have that touched up also. The car was kept over night so as to replace the damaged molding with new. The car was delivered to my home in lieu of me making a third trip to the shop.I had never thought to look inside the car for other issue while at the repair center. Once at home I did. My interior is BLACK. I notice several of what looked like white powdery palm prints on the seats. I also notice a faint white powder all over the car. I pulled out my Shop Vac and vacuumed the entire car which removed the powder. The smell of Bondo, fiberglass and paint still premeditates the interior space.My experience with this company was not real positive, fluid, or without hiccups, I’m not impressed, and not sure how Liberty Mutual can tout Caliber Collision as their premiere service provider. I don’t see it?
