Went Iooking for a spare for my 77 f150. Jay was very helpful and pointed out several areas to concentrate my search. After ashort time I found one that fit the bill. Unfortunately the one I found was on a vehicle that had a full set of mags an they were looking to sell the tires and wheels as a set. Jay went back out with me and within 15 min had located the tire but mounted on a ford rim. Tire In very good condition. Really appreciated Jays willingness to to help out. Will definitely be them my business in the future.future.

Ive only been here twice, but I needed small, hard to find parts, and they had them both times. And since the parts were so small, they gave me a heck of a deal, too. Really nice people and interactions both visits.

Large Inventory of parts and a helpful staff, definitely recommend garwood wrecking.

I called for a bracket that attaches my clutch peddle to the firewall and was told theyd call right back. Called them back 3 hours later and they hadnt gotten around to looking. Called me back 10 mins later to tell me if I came down and pulled the part myself itd cost me $100 for the part. Pull n save has the same part and only wants $7.50 for it... This place is nothing but scam artists and thieves wholl do anything to con you out of as much money as possible.

I purchased a truck engine from them, Chris was super helpful and they allowed us to roam their yard and I ended up coming home with more than just an engine. Their inventory is great and prices are extremely fair, I will definitely be stopping here in the future to pick up some more parts. Thank you for the awesome service!!

Had what I needed at a fair price. Had parts pulled quickly.

So far so good, just made my first visit there today and it was pretty straightforward, no BS. Walked up to the office, told em what I was looking for and they told me where to look for what I was in search of, and wound up venturing off around the whole yard looking at the old cars. No hassle about looking around and they let you do your business. Also, no charge to get in, which I hope doesnt change because they very well could charge an arbitrary fee but didnt, so that was really nice to see.

Also, they have the best selection of used pickup truck parts from vintage to current in the area. Great prices as well.

Started having car trouble on hwy 95 stopped in Garwood wrecking to see if them can fix it.3 hours later I was catching fish out on the lake did I mention I had my boat behind the truck. Thanks Brian for getting the fuel pump cheaper than I could. And removing the tank and installation quick.

Great customer service

Originally i had a bad experience with this place. But i went in the other day for a part i couldnt find anywhere else unless i bought it new on Special order for way too much money. A part that probably cost 5$ to make, auto stores were charging $180. Anyways, i called garwood and the dude said i could look around and within 20 minutes i had the part i needed in my hand for less than 1/2 the price. It may not have a lifetime warranty but it will get me through the winter.

Went and got a part for my truck and the part I needed required the part to have all the wires...they had cut them when pulling the part and the Secretary was sooooo sweet and told me to come return it for a refund. When I got there the owner some cranky old man was SO RUDE! I will NEVER recommend doing business there EVER!

Good place to save money

New to area, stopped in to try and get a center console arm rest pad, no dealing with these fools as they dont really want to sell things apparently, because the dude only wants to sell an entire console, of which most vehicles like mine I looked at in his yard the consoles are busted junk with axles and driveshafts tossed on them, but I saw an arm rest pad that could be cleaned up and probably work, but nooooo. And my doing business here ends before it ever started. Stupid fools. Successful business yard men sell what they have when they can and not let them sit until crushed. This kind of stupidity will eventually put him out of business.
