Dr. Gilder has always been a super hero in the world of dentistry! Ive had extensive work done by him over the years and hes always been so much more than perfect to me!! He has extra large shoes to fill if you were to ask me BUT I had the privilege of visiting his replacement (Dr. Patrick Bierdeman) and I have to say he found the perfect replacement! You guys are the dream team and its so nice we dont have to worry about Dr. Gilder retiring anymore because we have Dr. Bierdeman to step into his shoes!! Thank you both for the exemplary service you provide to all your patients!! We love you for it!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gilder’s for many years and have always had excellent experiences. All the dental hygienists in his office are friendly, professional, and efficient. I have never been a person who really liked going to the dentist (just on general principles) but Dr. Gilder and his staff make it very easy. The office is clean, modern, and inviting. Highly recommended!!

There are not enough stars that could reflect the satisfaction I have for Dr Gilder and his staff. If you are looking for a beautiful smile, this is the place for you. Our visited to Dr. Gilder office was very good. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The dental hygienist was very good and very nice in cleaning our teeth. We met the new Dr. and we like him very much.

I’m always treated great every time I go to Dr Gilders office. All of the girl’s always work with me about my appointments, I have to reschedule often because of my job and it has never been a problem. I had an emergency with a broke tooth. Called an office manager assisted with getting me in to see Dr Gilder the following day. The hygienist Tracey is super sweet an made me comfortable. Dr Gilder fixed tooth and it’s fabulous. I highly recommend the team at Dr Gilder’s office. After your first visit, you will come to the conclusion you have finally found your family dentist.

Dr. Gilders staff is very caring and concerned about the patients needs. My appointment time was met and Dr. Gilder takes his time with each patient making sure to cover all the bases of oral hygiene. The Hygienist Kristy did a fabulous job and was very comforting during cleaning.

Dr. Gilder and his entire staff are without a doubt the best of the best. Lisa keeps things moving with much profession precision. Wait time is minimal and they are immediately responsive to emergencies. I have been with them since 1999 and would never consider changing. I highly recommend them.

I searched for somewhere to go for a longtime because I hadnt been seen in years, my experience wasnt what I expected. I think the assistant only was professional when the Dr. Guilder entered the room, I felt her energy change, prior to that I was telling her, How its been years and so on. When the Dentist came in he did take a look. Some things where discussed. He also mentioned to me antibiotics and pain meds werent going to help and he couldnt decide which tooth was causing the pain, he wrote a referral and proscribed the medicine anyway,(only 4 tabs for busted broken painful teeth then told me, for further pain relief to just mix ibuprofen and tylenol, keep in mind that it tells you not to do that on the back of the bottles. I felt like I paid for nothing. If I just wanted to start extracting teeth then I would have known just where to go. Think i will get another opinion.

I was in terrible pain because i had an infection in the bone of a tooth that had broken off down below the gum line and my face was swollen all the way up to my eye . I called Dr Gilder and was given an appt the same day . The office is very clean and the wait wasnt long at all. The rooms to the back of the office has big windows that look out to a garden walkway with bird feeders and hummingbird feeders . Its was very relaxing . Dr Gilder was very gentle and very informative. . My husband and i will make him our family dentist now after moving to Hattisburg Ms from San Antonio Tx

While living in Hattiesburg temporarily, I developed an abscessed molar and needed emergency attention. A quick online check of local dentist reviews put Dr. Gilder solidly at the top of my preferred list. However, as a new patient, when I called to schedule an appointment, the earliest I could get in was a month in the future. Ugh.The whole left side of my face was unbearably painful. I called again a few days later, practically in tears; his staff did some scheduling backbends, and I saw Dr. Gilder the very next day. He x-rayed and examined my teeth, set me up to see an endodontist who does complicated root canals, and two days later, I felt like a new person!Since the root canal, Dr. Gilder has done some additional work, crowning two upper incisors that were chipped, and filling a cavity. His staff is reassuring, competent and friendly, the office is a pleasant environment, and dental work that typically would have me on pins and needles has been absolutely trauma-free. (He does offer nitrous oxide if you need that.)I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Gilder to anyone. He is by far the best dentist I have seen in years. Everything he has done for me has been excellent (even the temporary crowns he made were beautiful!), and I am wearing a happy, pain-free smile.One further note that may be helpful: Dr. Gilder accepts CareCredit. My dental coverage was practically nonexistent, but with CareCredit, there have been absolutely no obstacles in getting the work done that I needed.Thank you, Dr. Gilder and your wonderful staff!

Ive waited to post my feedback on my experience until now in order to make sure that my positive opinion was not just a side effect of the laughing gas :-) I was on my way out of town on New Years Eve when I started having excruciating pain from an abscess. I started frantically calling every dentist office I could find on Google to see if anyone was open on my route of travel. Thankfully, Dr. Gilders office was. They got me back within 10 minutes of my arrival, and even though I was ready to have the tooth pulled due to the severe pain, Dr. Gilder suggested a less drastic approach which allowed me to save the tooth and eliminate the pain. I have had several bad experiences with dental offices in the past, and I can say without reservation that not only was my experience at Dr. Gilders office great...I actually enjoyed it (remember the laughing gas, haha). I was VERY pleased with my experience at Dr. Gilders office. A great dentist with great staff which results in fantastic service.

As good an experience as one can expect from going to the dentist! Friendly staff and very prompt in keeping schedule.
