Fantastic barber shop conveniently located in downtown Hastings. I received what i would consider the best haircut from a barber anywhere ive lived up until now. I most definitely will be a returning customer for as long as i live in this area.

Best place I have ever gotten a haircut. Ive never left a haircut feeling better than I did with Rivertown Barbers. First time I called for an appointment I needed a haircut the very next day before my wedding (poor planning on my part), but he still helped me out and squeezed me in for an amazing cut. I highly recommend making an appointment and giving this place a try!

Corey is the ONLY one I will let cut my hair. I had a very bad experience and went to him the same day and he fixed a nightmare of a cut and made it look great. For the quality of service you get at Rivertown he could easily charge 30% more and it would still be a hell of a deal. Professional, courteous, responsive, entertaining, 2nd to none.

Corey did a phenomenal job, his lines are clean and he has a steady hand. He runs a nice clean shop and is very personable. I’m very picky about my barbers, and I was very pleased with my first cut here at Rivertown Barbers. Corey will definitely get repeat business from me for years to come. Just had my first haircut at Rivertown Barbers, I have to admit I was nervous having ethnic hair but Coreydid a great bald fade and was fun to talk to-very down to earth guy.Anyone that lives near this area knows theres not many shops who can cut ethnicpeople hair well,I recommend giving Corey a try!

My son and I got a perfect cut today. I really like the atmosphere here, and he did a phenomenal job with every aspect of our haircuts. It was my sons first time getting this combover style cut, and it turned out so well! Will be going to RB from now on!

I will be a fan of this shop for a long long time. Cory is awesome and has the steady hand for some fresh lines. He is the consummate professional barber and runs a tidy shop. He is a smidge tucked away in the old Meyers building but the new signage is out and easy to find. Walk in and look for the barber pole its too easy. I am glad he has decided to open a real barber shop in Hastings, we needed it. One thing to keep in mind with a real barber like Cory and Nick is that you get what you pay for. They are experts in the field of making men look sharp and practice what they preach as far as hair care and beards go. If you have been in a constant cycle of great clips or sports clips or something of that degree paying $10 for a sub par haircut it is time to up your game. Come down and see these guys (appointments only for covid reasons) and see what a real barber is all about. Smooth cuts, straight razor finished lines, and supporting a local business. You cant go wrong with that combo. They also carry the hair products they use for sale. If you want the magic potion that comes with keeping a haircut looking sharp they have what you need. I chose this place after reading their reviews online. I moved here from St Louis and have been struggling to find the right barber ever since. I found it today, with Nick. He gave me exactly what I asked for. A fresh line and a nice style. I will definitely be coming back as a regular. Its a very comfortable atmosphere and a nice place.

Been there 3 times and I will keep going! His attention to detail and skill is awesome and its super reasonably priced!

Great place for a Dude to get a hair cut. Definitely a Mans Man Barber shop. Also right by the river so you can strut your stuff after getting cleaned up.

Absolutely terrific! Great having a real barber shop in town again. Real shaves with real blades and haircuts from real barbers. Not some fast food big name salon gig. Put your big boy pants on and check it out and experience what us ol schoolers used to have back in the day...fees are reasonable and the service is excellent and it shows. Glad theyre here.

Ive been a Hastings resident for 15 years, and as a military member, finding a good fade haircut is not as easy as you would think. My little brother stopped in here and got a haircut that I would have guessed cost $80-100 easily. After $25 bucks (less because they do military discount), I can confidently say I got the best haircut of my life. Both barbers here do an amazing job, the banter between them was funny, they played some good background music, and they were professional. I cant recommend this place enough! Only issue for me was finding the place, it shares an entrance on the east side of the building, but google maps shows the entrance on the storefront side of the building. Other than that I really hope this place stays in business forever haha - Lifelong customer here. Oh and the owner used to breakdance - Liquid Legs the Legend. Go give them your business!
