Just went there for a haircut and I have to admit that they are really bad and does not know how to cut Asian hair. Very aggressive for no reason when cutting hair and puts blow dryer really near the head when hot. I usually go to the previous owner but he was not open today. The previous owner who was very professional, skilled, and fast is on belle chase highway near ccs coffee if anybody wants to go instead.

I travel A LOT and getting haircuts all across the country can be a real crap shoot sometimes. Here is my honest impression of Mirage Barber Shop:The two gentlemen operating the shop are complete professionals. They run a clean shop and I was never worried about whether or not he knew how to give me the cut I requested. I got a killer fade without having to wait or worry. I have no problem paying $20 for a good haircut. I will be returning here as soon as my travels bring me back through.

Im coming from biloxi to New Orleans on a Sundays all hair salon closed. But my new friend Rashed was my last hope. N thank God Mirage was open on sunday open at 10am to 10 pm. When i 1st walk in i felt like this is where i belong. The place look very welcoming n the barber know how to greet n made me feel comfortable. But goodness gracious Rashed can cut hair. Im asain n it hard for other barber to cut asain hair. He cut any kind of hair bc he care. Love Timp
