I have multiple things insured here and havent had any problems until recently. I called for a home owners insurance quote, went through all the steps and asked to be emailed the quote. they said no problem and that they would call me tomorrow to discuss the details. A day later, no email and no call. So I called back a hour before closing, and the same person I talked to before said they dont know why I didnt receive a email and verified that they had the right email. I was told I would have to go through the entire process again which I did. Long story short I didnt receive a call or email again. And went with a different company.

After a long day of shopping unsuccessfully for insurance , i decided to pay Lisa Green Campbell office on manhattan a visit. i was quite pessimistic ( due to the fact i was already shopping around for insurance and was not receiving any insurance quote and policy that would fit my needs) , but a Guy by the name of Kevin Lewis exceeded my expectations. Not only was Mr.Kevin incredible in his knowledge of insurance, but he also possess a superior skill set in being professional and extremely patient. Kevin Lewis thoroughly explained my insurance and went over and beyond to make sure i was satisfied with my insurance policy. I will definitely recommend Kevin Lewis at Lisa Campbell State Farm Insurance.

I just called to report that my car was hit last night. I introduced myself and asked the young lady Gabrielle who I needed to report the incident to. Instead of giving me a name, she just put me on hold without the courtesy of asking me to hold on. She came back on line, said since we had reported it to the other insurance company I didnt need to give them a report. I then asked her what to do about seeing that my coverage is cancelled on the car as of last night, as it is obviously totaled. Again she put me on hold without the courtesy of asking me to give her a moment or to hold on. When she came back on line this time she said she was told that they would be notified in 2 or 3 days. I again asked if they would prorate back to the accident and remove the coverage. She said yes.I worked at several State Farm agencies from 1986-1988. I would have never put a client on hold without informing them I was going to put them on hold. If I would have received this type of call, the first thing I would have done is ask the client if they were ok or if anyone was hurt. Next, even though they would have already reported to the other persons insurance company, I would have still taken their information for my file so that I could contact them at a later date or give them information on what would possibly happen next. Ex: if they are going to purchase a new car what they would need to do for their coverage.The last thing I would do would have been to ask them if they would like to speak to the Agent, (most of the time they didnt need or want to because I had answered their questions and gave them info) but some people feel better just speaking to the agent. I was not offered the opportunity.I honestly believe that a little telephone etiquette is not to much to ask for, so maybe a class in how to handle clients in an emergency would be in order. Also, the music playing while on hold was awfully loud.While I have never met my agent (I was transferred to her office after my agent left), I do believe that I will be searching for another office to handle my business. In our previous office they knew us on a first name basis and treated us with respect.
