PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Save yourself time and money. We called this company to take a look at our AC. The outside unit was working fine, we just wanted to inquire about getting our house as cool as possible.The technician that came out promised us that our house would be cooler before he left. He took our outside unit apart and cleaned it and he also removed some coolant because he said we had too much and it was pass the normal level of where it should be. We paid a total of $395. One day later the unit goes out completely after being worked on by the technician. We call to let them know and the first representative we talked to insured my husband that we would not be charged for them to come back out and look at the problem. The same technician came back out and tried to charge us another $395 to fix a part that was no longer working all of a sudden. My husband called the company again and was told that they would not waive the $95 service charge for the tech to come out nor would they fix the problem that wasn’t a problem until the tech messed with the unit. We were scammed. We decided not to proceed with the service since we would’ve had to pay an additional $395. We did however have to pay another $95 service charge for the tech coming back out. Now not only are we out of $490 but our unit is still broken due to this technician. We called to speak with someone in charge but we were told pretty much that it wasn’t their problem and that they would not fix the issue that their company tech caused. Our house is extremely hot now and my husband, myself, and our kids have to use fans which is a major inconvenience especially because I have a sick toddler and we have no money to even stay in a hotel until we find another company to come fix what this company damaged. I would not recommend anyone to deal with this type of headache. We paid this company to help us but instead they damaged our unit and took our hard earned money. This is ridiculous that a company would scam at a time like this when everyone is trying to stay home and out of the way to avoid getting Covid yet they decided to take advantage of customers. I regret that we called them in the first place. My hope is to save others from the scamming that we couldn’t save ourselves from. Review by Gordon Pierre’s wife.

We hired Taylor & Tyler to fix our AC when it wasnt cooling. After misdiagnosing the issue and $600 later the AC was still not working. Turned out to be something as simple as replacing the thermostat. When we requested to speak to the owner we were denied. We were either been had or their techs were that bad. Never again. It was an expensive lesson to learn. Do yourself a favor find a reputable AC company that will not charge you again and again for their mistakes. Do not go with Taylor n Tyler.

I have done business with Eric, the owner of Taylor & Tyler, for almost a decade and I can speak nothing but good about him. He has gone above and beyond to help us. He showed up himself on a Saturday to fix our A/C when the dogs knocked something loose. He also helped us get a used replacement unit when we couldnt afford a new one. Fast forward to April of this year when our unit was serviced and it was determined that it was failing. Eric explained all the options to me and spent time showing me how each scenario would probably play out with repair vs. replacement. I had always said that when I replaced the unit he would have my business and I stuck to my word. Eric installed an additional upstairs unit as the main unit and a smaller unit downstairs. My family now complains about it being too cold rather than that they are hot. The real proof is in my electric bill which was $285-$315 LEVELIZED and and is now $157 (May 2017 after installation in April 2017 off of levelized). Eric has always been fair and has done more than expected. I have nothing but praise for him and would recommend him to anyone with an A/C problem.

Unit was not blowing air, Taylor & Tyler tech Inspected my AC unit, they said everything looked good, but blower motor was dead, replacement needed, charged $900 for motor and cleaning. Three days later, unit blowing hot air, they charged $85 to come back out and said the AC was leaking freon, $10k to replace the unit. Called to speak to the owner to find out how this could be missed on the inspection 3 days earlier, he refused to call me back. Terrible company!

We have our home in Metairie and our rentals are in New Orleans that are all serviced by Taylor & Tyler AC Repair. They always show up on time and they are honest with their repairs. We never have any issues with them fixing our air conditioners.

It has been 3 months and Im still waiting for them to finish the job. They installed an entireheating and ac unit. The first day it was cold, the heat didnt work. When I called them theywere rude and refused to give me a time when a technician could come out. I was told there were many people ahead of me. Karen hung up the phone in my face.I consider it fraud to charge for installation of a new unit that doesnt work. When they installed the unit. They didnt even cut on the heat to see if itworked. I have been to Lowes and talked with the store manager concerning the sale of the unit and only given Karens name to help. I have asked to speak with management and was not allowed.I have asked the salesman Sammie, Lowes store manager Blake, called T&T asking to complete this job over 7 times. Im feel so cheated and disrespected. I will never do business with Lowes or T&T.
