The chairs were deliveried 6 hours late and picked up 8 hours late for my wedding. They give you a time frame that they will be delivered and did not meet that time at all. The men delivering the chairs were extremely nice and helpful. Not their fault just poorly scheduled by the company.

The staff has been more than helpful over the phone the two times I have spoke with them. I am renting some heavy equipment this weekend. Five stars for now.

The people at americ equipment rental are very nice very helpful very informative anything that you rent from them they take the time to go through everything with you answer any questions you may have and make sure youre comfortable with whatever youre renting I noticed that last time I went and got a lift they actually took the time to go over it with me also on two separate occasions that there were young man that helps load up the equipment or set it up so I could tow it and they were extremely helpful extremely polite and very very nice and it was a very pleasant experience

Do not rent from Americ Rental! I reserved a newer bobcat for landscaping/ laying sod at my home. When went to pick it up I was given an old run down piece of junk, I was told “the one I reserved had been rented” so much for reservations. Normally I would walk away but the sod was already scheduled. The bobcat came with a trailer and I had called earlier to verify it had trailer brakes. One he drive home I almost got in a wreck because there was no brakes on the very heavy trailer/bobcat, they had been removed! The bobcat barely ran and would not start when hot. I called to complain and he manager was very arrogant. I pointed out the safety problems with the trailer and he dismissed them and since there is no rental equipment inspection in Alabama, he said he can get by with it. There are other great rental places such as United rental in Madison that have safe, modern equipment. Run away from Americ Rental!

I was a little stressed about the rental process but the staff there make it easy and quick.

We have rented a large mower all summer to mow my grandmothers acre lawn and it has been much more affordable than anyone in Decatur. It has saved us from buying a new riding mower until next summer.

Americs Staff is very friendly and courteous and they are very competitive with their prices. I went by and checked out their great selection of Wedding Rental and was amazed at the selection.

Please do not make the mistake my family and I made! We rented flatware and napkins from Americ Equipment for my wedding. On the day of the event, we were not given the correct amount and requested more be delivered. The staff we spoke with were rude and threatened a fee for having to make another delivery. The staff complained that they were closing soon, at 12:00, and asked if we could have someone meet them to take the items to Huntsville. A man from Americs staff continued to call me (the Bride) about the situation; Although, they had been given a person of contact on our original agreement.Ten days later, I check my bank statement and notice a $77 charge on my account from Americ. Basically, its our word against theres. They say they gave us the right amount to begin with, we say we didnt have enough.Not a whole lot I can do at this point but learn from the experience. I will NEVER use this company again. You get what you pay for and next time I will pay more and use another company.In addition, we used Mullins Rentals out of Huntsville for our chairs and columns and they were fabulous! A very friendly and accommodating staff.

Friendly staff. Ive rented several items from here and havent had any issues. Apparently if you rent items over holiday weekends you get extra days since they arent open for you to return the items.
