I ordered rolls of foam (all the same) This post office delivered 2 rolls but wouldn’t deliver 1 roll and charged me $100 to pick it up from office. This package made it all the way from California without a hitch. But Hartselle refused to bring this less than2lbs roll and refused to give it to my daughter at office unless I pay this ridiculous fee.When I calledHartselle post office, Rep said her supervisor instructed her. What in the world?!

Ordered a package with one day shipping because I needed the package by that date. But when it was supposed to be delivered they didn’t because “my driveway was inaccessible” i live in apartments with a huge carport area that is never at any point blocked. Furthermore they could have merely put the package in my mailbox which is on the road. If you can avoid it avoid using this carrier for delivery of packages

I left work early to get there before closing time. It was 20 minutes before they were supposed to close and a guy is locking the door. Face to face through the glass door I said it’s not closing time and he shook his head no and turned around.

I called about a very important letter I was told had to be signed for. They ladie that answered the phone told me if I had a letter they would have left it at my home, so I informed her where it was from and she acted like she didn’t want to check on it also didn’t want to go look and see. I still haven’t receive my letter nor a pick card.

Great location for passports! Helpful efficient people. After multiple occasions of trying to submit a passport application at other post offices where the wait was 2-3 hours minimum due to long lines, I looked up possible alternate locations. I took a chance and called the Hartselle PO. Not only did they actually answer the phone, the lady I spoke to was friendly and engaging. She indicated they rarely have lines for passport submissions. Not only that, they actually will make appointments (Saturday only) if needed but assured me that was probably not necessary. Sure enough, when I went there a day later I walked right up - no wait. The gentleman that took my application was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was out of there in 10-15 minutes tops. Im sure they are equally efficient in other postal-related needs but these folks cant be beat in passport processing.

Was able to find my carrier and get a letter I forgot to put my stamp on and even held it until I could make it up there and pay for my stamp. By far the best courteous workers I have met

On the 18th my package arrived at the post office. It is now the 23rd and i still havent received it i went to the post office on the 20th they were very slow and not helpful at all i just want to know where my package is at

I go here all the time, and they are always professional and friendly. It definitely has a small town vibe, but I prefer that. I am sad they close early on Wednesdays, because it seems I always forget and waste a trip.

Had to use this office early on in my visit here. Definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. But it turns out its just the ladies here that are rude- not the town.

While I cant really comment on the actual location, Ive never had so many problems getting my packages as I do since I came to Hartselle. At least 50% of my packages need to be re-delivered. And Im almost always home during the first delivery attempt. Its ridiculous.About half the time they just shove the notice in my mailbox instead of actually bringing the package to my door (I live in an apartment). The rest of the time they knock so softly that we dont even hear them when in the same room as the door theyre supposedly knocking on.I would think that re-delivering packages is something theyd want too avoid, but apparently this location seems to enjoy it.

Came in on July 5th and they were open as always. I was sending very expensive sunglasses off and the gentleman found me a box to fit, wrapped them up and printed my label for me. BEST POST OFFICE EVER!

Moved from a small town in the mountains of North Carolina where the Weaverville Post Office workers were extremely nice and helpful to the supposed town of Southern Hospitality where a couple of workers at the Hartselle Post office are rude and act like customers are nothing but bothersome.

It is small compared to other post offices comma yet efficient as the big one. The staff is friendly and you patient. And it is centrally located in the city of Hartselle.

By far the worst set of postal workers I have ever encountered. And it wasnt just one that was nasty it was everyone of them. Sad that they have jobs that others would be so much more deserving of.

Never get the mail I need always ends up going back to the sender. Had to cancel two orders because the went back need better mail carriers that can do their jobs
